I've watched this video twice now and love the look of all the food. I really like how you pause on every dish so the view has time to take in what you are presenting. You obviously put a lot of effort into producing this video so thank you - much appreciated!
Wonderful Video!! Great photography. Clear and colourful. Very informative. Food looks delicious. I didn’t know that the Kings Court buffet offered such classy gourmet dishes at night !! I will definitely check it out when I travel QM2 Transatlantic next year!👍. Thank You for all your fantastic QM2 dining videos. Really enjoyed them all !!! MikeW
I went on the queen Mary 2 about 10 years ago and they did not have a dinner buffet. They might’ve had a lunch Buffet near the pool. I still prefer eating in the restaurant because I eat way too much at an all you can eat meal. My partner would go for the Indian food though. And I saw a few desserts that were up my street. I plan to go on the queen Mary Next year. Nice video, nice family
That is interesting that the QM2 didn't have a dinner buffet. We always ate at the main dining as well, though the buffet had some good offerings too. Thank you very much for the comment! 😊
@@TravelTouristVideos That does seem odd - there was dinner available in Kings Court on our 2009 and 2010 sailings [as well as 2017, 2019 & 2022] There were no local media postings that I recall about no dinner in the '10 years ago' time. I did see postings about folks making 'casual only' transatlantic crossings, and relying on the buffet for dinner.
i have crossed with queen mary2 three different times and i would go right this minute just for the food, it is that good, but you have to lose 5 pounds before you go cause you will gain weight, and everyone does jog a lot on the deck!!
Wow! What a great meal and everything looks delicious, but my concern is I have not seen any sugar-free desserts. Thank you so much for sharing. Thank your wife for taste testing to let me know what to try first on my cruises. Enjoy and stay safe. Amen
Their desserts were usually not overly sweetened, but yes you're right they didn't have sugar-free desserts, only "low-sugar". Thank you so much for the comment! 😊 Stay safe!
i know this is a dumb question, but what would happen if you wanted to take say 5 or 6 deserts on a tray and you told the servers i wanna take these back to my cabin and eat all my deserts in my cabin, would they let you take a few deserts away so you can eat them in your cabin? or do you have to eat them at the tables?
Omg the roasted duck sure looks juicy, and your plate from the German night looked amazing with so many different kinds of sausages (I LOVE sausages….yummy!) Thanks for sharing- as always: excellent work!💕
Actually they all have buffets which appeal to those who don't want to dress up (even though in the main dining room most of the time you don't have to) or those who want faster service

looks better than thought....seems I had seen pizza or fast food stuff I could eat dinner buffet every day and not feel bad about paying for food experience. Of course not high end buffet...but menu is interesting and varied. 💐
Very nice & excellent quality food spread with Cunard. May I ask- does your family prefer having the buffet opposed to the ‘fine dine’ dinner? Happy cruising 😊
What do they do with the leftover food each day? On land, a restaurant can donate leftover food to charitable organizations. I doubt they do that at sea.
Drinks were not self-served which we didn't like. And yes soft drinks do cost extra. Cunard has a soft drinks package that's $10 per person daily, which allows you to get unlimited soft drinks.
Wow, the food was really visually impressive (as was the photography). I think that was some of the best buffet food I have seen. I disagree with those below who diss some of the high end Las Vegas buffets which are equally impressive. Good variety, outstanding presentation.
Sorry just saw your question! We didn't see dairy-free milk, but I'm pretty sure if you ask they'll get alternatives such as soy or almond milk for you from the back.
The comments of the travel partner sampling the food is boring because her comments are very monotonous. She certainly isn’t a connoisseur. She rarely mentioned why the foods she ate were good. What was it that made the food so good?
He was very funny! If you asked him for just let's say a small piece of meat he'd literally give you a tiny speck of it lol. He and the other chefs did an excellent job cooking and serving the guests at the King's Court Buffet.
Having recently travelled to New York and back, we can say that the food is very disappointing, both in the Buffet and the restaurant. It’s not as ‘high end’ as it should be, given cruise prices.

Given your background in catering and working with Gordon Ramsay, it's understandable you have high expectations!
