- I was in the audience for this show at the BBC's Radio Theatre in London on Thursday, 21 April 2011. The quality of the screen grab is poor, I know but it's all there is out there. The audio is from the BBC radio transmission. It's taken me 8 years to get around to syncing it all up.
kd performs some of her hits as well as songs from her 2011 album, Sing It Loud.

If you ever noticed she does not wear shoes when she performs and I really believe that's where she gets her vocal powers
She wore shoes while performing all through her 20s and her 30s. I saw her at that time and she was peerless. Then decided she couldn't find any nice vegan shoes and stopped wearing them onstead. After that, she felt so grounded onstage without shoes that she no longer wears them, except for certain situations: Kennedy Center honouring Tony Bennett being one. We each have our beliefs of where such an incredible voice comes from. Be it spiritual or a nurtured gift she has honed to perfection. I love kd's voice.

As a Canadian and a deep and abiding love for the sound of women's voices in pop music, I really have to say the 'Canadian twang' is real. The tonal changes that Buffy Ste. Marie, Anne Murray, Joni Mitchell have contributed to the 'real' sound of pop music is ....immeasurable.

K.D. is anything but Tone deaf. Her voice is phenomenal. I never saw anyone feel Hallelujah the way she does when she sings it. It is utterly beautiful. I see it as the equalizer in her concerts. She gets transported to a calmer center. But the first song that pulled me in was decades ago on her movie Salmonberries. That enigmatic “Barefoot”. I fell in love with that song and K.D. Lang’s personality. I didn’t know how big she would become, and I will enjoy catching up and reconnecting. K.D. I love your style, and I especially love how you connect with your audience. And I too love Harmonizing. I love being your background to Hallelujah in my living room. Brava😍.

Wow. What an ending. Blow their minds and give it all you got and she did. At her stage you really don't need to put much effort into impressing and yet she doesn't fall back on lazy, oh they'll love me anyways, but just gives you more and more. That ending is a pure example, blow them away! A true professional who does it for the love of the art.

I have watched this in full 5 times and I believe there will be many more rounds. kd's voice is beautiful and her face is a big bonus. I like the way she brings the mic far away but her voice doesn't get softer but more beautiful. Hallelujah shows her gifted voice with varied tones. I can't munch on chips while watching this video. I can but choose not to because I will miss alot of beautiful facial expressions. She puts her soul into every song. And her normal speaking tone is sensual. Like the part about needing to sing a British song. Celine dion and Madonna made 40+ times what kd made in her career. But frankly their voices are not as good. Perhaps it's because their songs have mass appeal.
There was no one like her and there will never be one after her. kd is special. I hope she will tour again. I love you, kd. 💜 You have made the world more beautiful with your voice.

When she sings the Angels stop and listen!! Love her so much! This was in 2011! She retired from touring I wish she would do a concert on HBO so we can enjoy her catalogue of songs!! I only get bits here and there and I get lucky to see her singing’!’ She has Amazing control and sings slightly before the words! Sinatra had that way of singing too! Back again. I love this concert and the Max Sessions. I have all her cd's but I try to listen to as many concerts as I can again because she is so awesome to view onstage no matter how many times you've seen her, thanks to youtube and the EP68 and all others who post them for us to see...thank you! Just watched INGENUE again on my 40 inch TV...never tire of seeing it again...love the way she shares with her unforgettable and breathtaking voice! Now, the Water's age; Love that song!

Have always been a huge fan of K. D. Since the start, I loved country music, she was the best female singer in that time..Again like my fav. Male Singer, Dwight Yokham, The big money grabbers, in Nashville, would not give them a chance. But they both had enormous success. Rightly so. Both changed styles of music, to whatever suited them. They are unique, gifted, with such special vocals. Blow you away. If Roy Orbison, choose KD, to Duet, with him, you know ur special. She got the big O. back in the recording Studio, as Dwight did with Buck Owens. Both went straight to No 1.And won an award. How Brilliant 'Sooo Nashville. Big Wigs, we're put right in their place. They wouldn't know Talent if it smacked them in the face. Brilliant Video, many tks. 👍🇮🇪💚
