20th Century Studios is an American film studio that is a subsidiary of Walt Disney Studios, a division of The Walt Disney Company. 20th Century was one of the "Big Six" major American film studios for over 80 years. Formerly known as the Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation, it was formed from the merger of the Fox Film Corporation and the original 20th Century Pictures in 1935. In 1985, the studio became known as 20th Century Fox after being acquired by News Corporation, which was split and succeeded by 21st Century Fox in 2013, after spinning off its publishing assets. In 2019, Disney purchased 20th Century through its acquisition of 21st Century Fox. The studio's current name was adopted on January 17, 2020.

but really with in some cases massive production costs are some of these films really earning more.
I bet that the cost of Mrs Doubtfire is not the same Night at the museum and in no way can be near the high special effects of a star wars movie.

There are some film were their grossing are only thanks to a re-release that you add like if they did that grossing in their first release.
Examples are: Titanic groosed 1.8 Bilions on 1997 and reached the 2.2 bilion marks only due to a re-release in 2012;
Star Wars episode 4 gross 530 milions on 1977 and reach 775 milions due to a 1997 re-release and episode 1 reach 917 milion in 1999 and 1.027 bilions due to a 2013 re-release
And Gone With the Wind is the most popular film ever thanks to many re-releases. What's your point?
@@LukeLovesRose My point is that: a film that made a re-release have is grossed increased, this doesn't mean that in its first year have that gross. Titanic grossed 2.2 Bilions thanks to a re-release, not in 1997, if Titanic grossed 2.2 Bilions in 1997, adjusting the price of the ticket it should have grossed 4.2 Bilions by today ticket price. If someone made a chart like this, i want him/her to be precise and adding the re-release gross in the year when it was that gross, not in the year of the release. For example: in this way (adding the total in the year of release) Endgame will never reach the number one spot due to Avatar now have grossed more thanks to a re-release in China, but Endgame surpassed Avatar in 2019, if we add all the re-release in the year of release Avatar wooldn't never be dethroned, that is an incorrent information

YET AGAIN, by putting the GLOBAL box office, you should not take into account the foreign B.O. when the distribution was from another Studio OR the domestic B.O. in the case of TITANIC, as it was released by PARAMOUNT in the States !
