Hats off to you professor! This I rate as the best lecture I came across on the subject of Advaita and Sankara’s philosophy. You cleared many of my doubts, but at the same time you created a lot more. That is the result of a very good lecture. I appreciate the true nature of the explanations given by you without any bias or religious hues painted over it. Fantastic! I wish you very good health and long enough life to educate the millions on such wonderful topics.
And so I plan to submit my doubts in bits and pieces so that it doesn’t disinterest the reader. I shall be delighted to receive some convincing answers to my doubts.

I listen to almost all of your presentations and everytime I thought it was the best of your presentations then you come up with something better, wonderful Sir thank you.
Adding to your view, from my own experience although self realisation is the greatest personal experience it doesn't necessarily give me the knowledge to compile my experiences and or provide a structured presentation of great enlightened minds delivered by the likes of you.
Especially in the absence of a truly enlightened guru, translation and advancement of spiritual experiences can easily be muddled.
In saying that without the personal experiences a well learned person can also be subjected to deceiving doubts and misjudge their own knowledge..
Say for example I received the Brahma jnana upon attaining yoga samadhi, as the result of that I have written a book where it is revealed how forces of design whom we were told are gods exist within all bodies large or small. In the bodies in our world due to the conditions of our senses we see them as brain organs and by matching the descriptions of gods to the observation of organs an unequivocal evidence is provided to prove the claim.
It is essential to understand there are only two means to observe nature, one is with senses and their scientific tools and the other method is liberation from the senses.
The only way we could be sure of that it is the same object being seen by two different means is by having the knowledge of both objective and subjective knowledge, one without the other can compromise clarity.
In saying that, I am certain that this particular revelation is historic and will influence massive changes in the way our world is structured including invasive medical treatment.
However, I am not good at structuring or presenting my knowledge like you do Sir, so such knowledge for now will remain dormant until someone discover it and present it in such way academic and common interest is drawn to it.So I am unable to immediately help wider world, such is reality, like no one knows who is Gowdapada's teacher's teacher.
I watch your presentations to understand my own experiences and how to translate my own experiences.
Because I trust your knowledge, impartiality and genuine morality. Thank you once again Sir, may there be success in your efforts.

An engrossing and enlightening presentation by Prof. Murali. Fortunate indeed are his students to have such a professor! His dispassionate, yet compassionate, account of Shankara's life and philosophy is a treat for both the mind and the heart. Prof. Murali's account of the events and travels in Shankara's life helped me understand how he could synthesize the strands of rationalism in Buddhism, Sankhya etc. and the ritualistic and devotional practices in Hindu society into a holistic, scheme for man's liberation. The rituals etc. have their place but not as an end in themselves but for the purification of the mind that can then understand, appreciate and assimilate the Advaita doctrine so that the differences and divisions we perceive are understood as part of the Vyavahara or transactional level but are dissolved at the Paramarthika or fundamental level. Thanks to Socrates Studio for uploading such an illuminating discourse.

Dear Prof. Murali sir, at the very outset, kindly accept my spiritual salute for your presentation of 'the history of all histories and the mystery of all mysteries' so as to enable even a layman in spirituality to understand what 'Brahman' is. Adi Sankara's Advaita, no doubt, was established on the doctrine of 'Nirguna Brahman' which became acceptable after defeating Mantra Mishra and his wife of Kumaril Bhatt's Purva Mimamsa school full of dogmatic rituals, ceremonies and hard practices for layman participating in them without understanding the meaning of any of them. Sir, your presentation also highlights a judgement and evaluation of a philosophical document without any prejudice and with mild criticism wherever it is required. You also stated what was enigmatic to Sankara about 'Maya' remains, still, 'enigmatic'' to all humanity.

Sir. It is awesome you speak on varying philosophies by varying people. What is you favorite one? Is it even easy to be without sticking to one? My favorite one is what I believed and experienced the same to certain extent and wishing to experience a bit more constantly. Like one is Advaita vedanta.

Sir, Added to earlier comments, presently I am 54Yrs, would like to share one incident, during at age of 29, used to go alongwith friends meditation classes, more interested to read Balakumaran books which deals of his most of books Naan yaar, inner sakthi etc, I also keep asking after reading some of Novels/books during sleep time keep asking Naan Yaar, Naan yaar, one day very deep into it, in just sleep time only, keep mind is going, going some cave type path, I did not stop, keep asking asking, the path is going very fast all of moment suddenly apeared full of bright light, I suddenly feared somuch keep shouting Om Nama shivaya, Om Nama shivaya, and got wake up, because don't know what is that, huge bright light which can't be seen long time. Since I used to many time what ever the keep saying Om Nama Shivaya, so during that time because of huge fear keep soughted Om Namashivaya, my friends all wake up and started giving water, asked what happens, I didn't tell him anything, they will laugh, so kept quite. After that I never tried that way, spending life with family and children in the path of Anmegam.

நீங்கள் யாரையும் பார்க்கவில்லை நீங்கள் உங்களை தான் பார்த்துக் கொண்டு இருந்தீர்கள். அந்த ஒளி வேறு யாரும் இல்லை அது நீங்கள்தான்.
நிறைய பேரு அந்த ஒளி மாட்டிக் கொண்டு விடுவார்கள். அதில் லயித்து. அது ஆனந்தமாக இருக்கிறது அதிலேயே இருந்து விடுவார்கள்.
தற்போது வரைக்கும் அந்த ஒளி தான் இறைவன் என்று கூறுகிறார்கள்.ஒருவேளை அந்த ஒளியை கடந்தால் அது என்னவாக இருக்க mudiyum.
Oli அதன் மீது பற்று கொள்ளாமல் அதை கடந்த நிலைக்கு நாம் செல்ல vaendum .
