I too bought an 05 Camry. Those connectors got brittle and fell apart in my hands probably due to heat and age. It wasn’t just the tabs that broke. Bought a set of four connectors from aliexpress. Along with a set of terminal plug tool, the total came to less than twenty bucks.
I like the way you did yours. Mine was Similar. Problem is u can't buy a harness that I have seen. Unless it CV would be at the dealer. A complete harness.
Advance Auto and Orielys want $80 each for these connectors! I went to the wrecking yard and found a set of 4 in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks. Came home and put them on and it’s like new again. 👍

eBay sells those clips for 10.00 for 4 I bought them and they work great

Toyota dealer sold me these connectors $10 each. You just de-pin your old connector
