How to replace Spark Plugs and Air Filter on 05 Toyota Camry 2 4L

- Very easy to replace..
Tools that you need .....
10 mm and 11 mm sockets ....
ratchet...
5/8 spark plug removal socket, extension plus breacker...
If you use a spark plug socket it should have a rubber washer on the inside that will grip the plug to remove it. You can also use a short piece of the appropriate size rubber hose to do this. Dropping the plug into the head can damage the threads on the head or the plug. I also recommend putting a small amount of anti-seize on the plug threads when you are installing steel plugs into aluminum heads, but be careful not to ove rtorque them or it can cause damage to the head.
thank you David, great comment.
A video 9 years ago came through clutch! Knowledge gained at RUclips University 🙏🏾 Thank you for service 🫡
RUclips is cool you learn a lot almost about everything
thank you i must do this this week to my 2005 camry ( god bless you ) you are very kind
I Love The internet THANK YOU FOR UPLODING THIS MAN
Great tip on using the coil to get the plug out, but you should use it to put the new plug in gently. Thanks for the video.
You welcome...
Great video, thanks so much. I like your use of the coil. I will try that for installing the spark plugs so that I don't drop them into the channel. Cheers
Thank uou. Just what I was looking for!
I have the exact same car and need both of those replaced as we speak this was a two-for-one thank you.
Same lol
Perfect job and well explained
Thank you for posting this video
Good video, thanks!!
Awesome 😀 😀 2005 Toyota Camry 25L review.
Excellent, thank you
very good video!
thank's...
Cool video ... Those r very popular engines .... Can u make a series on the 07 and up Honda crv? Or the 2.4 k motor in the Hondas ? Thank u
will do.. i need those cars... will try to find them ;-)
dropping them in the tubes is not very smart...that's a good way to screw up the gap on the plugs or completely close them
If you use a "Spark Plug 5/8" socket it makes it so much easier and there is less chance of ruining the threads. I would never, ever just drop the plugs into the hole, it could change the gap and ruin the threads. The rest of the video is pretty.
Why unplug the wires?
@@Xomchieu262 so u have room to take out the ignition coils
I cringed every time he dropped one. If you don't have the spark plug socket then use the coil like you did to get it out.
Thanks for showing...
;-)
thank u
I have a 2005 Toyota Camry XLE V6. Is it the same directions for the XLE V6?
Different because engine is v6 but watching this video might help
You do not drop the spark plugs in the hole
when you said 5-8, do you mean 5/8?
The connectors on my 2005 Camry XLE have little latches that came off when I pressed them and couldn't seem to remove the connectors otherwise. Now not sure how to put them back, since this was not covered.
latches brake because of the heat..
Too tight... Good video 4 bigginers
Was that a cat meowing at 2:53??
SPASIBO LEXA
No anti seize needed?
I believe I made another video about antifreeze for this vehicle
The way you placed the spark plugs back in are totally wrong and you run the risk of cross threading
could be.... but i replaced spark already on more then 50 vehicles and never didn't cross thread...
Someone give this man some sunblock
Sunblock for girls ...
thumbs down because i cracked my plastic cover because he didnt show the steps to removing the rubber piece on the back of the cover.
😃😃😃
You just pull it straight up. But mine got twisted, do I could imagine how it could be broken.
When your completely useless on your own 😂😂😂
Excellent, thank you
