@patrickdang Hi Patrick I recieved an offer for the position of google Inside sales not sure what this is all about. Moreover I am an introvert and I'm not sure if i have to talk to people continuously. Please give me some hints about this job. My interview is in 2 days time.
@@Feddy99 A lot has happened in 6 months my friend! To be honest I actually became an IT contractor and will be working as an agile delivery manager in the next year. The sales company were interested in hiring me but I had pursued contracting simultaneously and couldn't pass it up. I did 6 weeks of training with them and needed my degree to get in. I think this was the right choice but that being said i still think I'd enjoyed sales
I just got a job as an Inside sales rep and this has been very helpful coming from a background of being a client/consumer of what I'm gonna be selling. Thanks
Hey I also recently got placed in a company for inside sales rep, but I really don't know how we are supposed to find prospect. If u don't mind Can you please share this information.
You are totally right Patrick, I share with you same prediction, many jobs after COVID-19 will be home based and inside sales will be one of those jobs
Just applied to a remote inside sales job with Yelp. We will see how it goes. I have YEARS of customer service experience, not much cold calling experience. Still believe I am qualified.
I absolutely agree about the trend moving to remote work, BUT that requires a lot of trust from the employer that the new hires won’t slack off, especially just out of college. It will have to be a few more years before they can put the trust in that process.
I got offered a positions as an inside saler, but they told me that I won't have direct contact with customers. Not even by email or phone calls. They talked about more about quotations and organization. The company is WH Logistics. Any idea about what an inside sales does within that company?
I wrote out a long rant in which I accidentally deleted. (I'm using the microphone now dangit) So, what I want to say, is yes! There are a lot of inside sales jobs that don't pay commission, and in fact you're making the person that owns the company rich! For example I had a job a call center. This lady hired only people in "recovery". And I was dealing with alcohol abuse in my twenties. I decided throughout the duration of sober living that this job would be a good fit. I came to find out-she hired everybody that was in recovery. I also felt like she was taking advantage of people grateful to have a job and support system. I say that because during the job-( AA is based on honesty honest principles) the employees are getting paid $8 and something an hour and sit there and lie to people all day long (cold calls) and are forced to pretend that they're in a dealership in New Jersey when in actuality they are in Lexington, Kentucky! How's that not manipulative? Definitely screwed :/
I am interested in this opportunity preferably inside sales. I am a retired court assistant interested in unretired. I viewed the videos and feel that I do well.. Pitching product or service. Big benefit because I can improve and work with a team. I would love to interview.

any degree is fine. companies hiring for sales understand they don't usually teach sales in school so they're going to have to train you from the ground up. having an understanding of how tech works is a plus but you don't have to know how to code or anything like that to get started

Hey Patrick, how to apply for inside sales at AWS or Google?
Hey Patrick, if I am doing inside sales role in service based company. Can I switch directly to account executive role in SaaS sales?
I have a zoom interview today at 3 pm any suggestions
How did it go lol
What documents or qualifications we need for this position?
Do outside sales really have to go door to door? That reminds me of Kirby vacuum
Not all outside sales go door to door.
How about inside sales associate?

How about now? Closers.com by Dan Lok makes remote sales job a new norm?
Remote sales is becoming more normalized but there are still a lot of companies all over the world that require sales people to come into an office.
coronese !
What degree should I get for this job? Is IT or computer science background preferred??
