Hang in there. I had 12 teeth extracted, got a top immediate denture and bottom partial last April. Getting a top denture was the decision I’ve ever made. I love my new smile. I was in constant pain from my decaying teeth. There was so many foods that I could not eat because I could not chew them or feared loosing a tooth. I’m eating nuts, fruits, crunchy, and hard foods I had eliminated. It feels so good to smile in photos. My recovery time went smoothly. There are so many great RUclipsrs whose videos documenting their denture and implant journeys got me through the process. Within 3 months, I was rocking and rolling with my new smile. Each day chewing got easier and easier. Healing went smoothly and so did eating. If you experience any discomfort, have your dentist make adjustments. I’m adhesive free. I hated the stuff and that’s every denture wearer’s goal. Keep us posted on you progress.
Know that you had this done a year or so ago, but you are helping my anxiety by telling me exactly what your feeling! I am having 22 teeth pulled this coming Friday and immediate top and bottoms. Dental surgery oh my! Had my final one December 19th, 2019. I had to retrain my mouth so I could speak clearly after wearing the temporaries. Glad this is an old vlog and you are doing better.
I’m on day three of my surgery and installing my immediate teeth. Affordable didn’t give me meds before the surgery. So, I contacted my doctor and he sent me Tylenol three, which helped me a lot with no pain. I’m swollen but not sore. Thanks for being so helpful through this process. I lived off creamy broccoli and greens and drank a lot of water. I really appreciate your truth.

I went to Affordable Dentures because they were affordable. LOL My anxiety was through the roof and the oral sedative did not work!! I don't like the look of my temporary dentures but I didn't want to not have any teeth. Excited for my permanent dentures which I should get in a few months. The temporary dentures give me a horse mouth!!!
Hello JaVonne, Blending those chucks are a good idea.Try not to get air in your mouth you have to remember your mouth just went under real remodeling and healing is in process even when the swelling goes down. Rest and follow your dentists orders Be a good patient Be blessed and rest

Just happened to see this channel and wanted to be encouraging. I had mines removed 2 years ago and TRUST ME it was the best decision i've ever made in my life! You will be able to gradually eat normal things like before.. You're going to love your permanents! You will have to go be realigned several times as your mouth begin to shrink. My husband was/is very supportive and that makes it a whole lot easier! My smile is everything now 😄 God Bless with your journey!

The lisp goes away somewhat easier when you sleep in them constantly and don't remove them
