The Deltoluxe pickup is outstanding. I had one installed on my Recording King Dirty 30’s and it was a major upgrade over their gold foil pickup. I just purchased a Gin Rickey and have it being set up. I can’t wait to get her home!
I played this guitar in Sam Ash yesterday. I loved it and I am going back right now to get it - I was super impressed with the incredible feel and awesome tone! I love this guitar and I am literally leaving now to go pick one up!
You know i used to use expensive guitars to gig with, then i bought a $120 EKO parlour guitar and added a sound hole pickup, and loved that so much i used it for gigging for the last year. Since i seen this demo, i have ordered this Gretsch, and hope for the best.
@@ElDami I have had it 3 week and used it for 2 gigs, along with my cheapo guitar. I have fallen in love with it. Plays brilliantly sounds great. Over the years i have used many mostly mid range priced guitars, only to find a cheap beater is the best and most enjoyable to play. This Gretsch comes close to that in the best way possible. A sweet tone and lovely neck that fits my hand perfectly. My only gripe is no volume control. I use it in conjunction with a TC Helicon Harmony V60 Acoustic Amp.
@@Frankyz84 thank you for your thoughts on this guitar. It's nice to hear feedback from someone who uses an instrument for gigs. Alas, I have no more room for another one at the moment!
How good would you say it was at approximating that Beatles "I Feel Fine", Nirvana Unplugged sound? Because I've never been interested in the sound of piezo pickups, and a more old school sound is the sort of tone I'm looking for.
Great looking guitar. Can you demo the Yamaha csf-ta. I know you did the fg-ta not long ago but a little parlour guitar filling a room with sound is the perfect application for the transacoustic technology.
Dizz Lexic: well all what limited Edition means, it was a limited run or there's a name attached to it. the name of this was Gin Rickey, unless they got the name wrong in the video, but there's also one called the Gretsch Jim Dandy Acoustic, it looks alot like this one in the video. could be the same one i don't know, but usually a limited Edition means, they put out a guitar for a limited run to see how well it does on the market. if the reviews come back fairly positive, then they'll go ahead and put more out there. but as a limited Edition they only last for so long, so you gotta get them while they last, or you get lucky to find somebody that still has one for sale. these days you can find anything out there.
I just recently bought one (yesterday lol) action is perfect on mine. Can’t speak for every one of them but it’s an easy fix if the action is too high for your liking.
Hey there Worked in a store when the, first came out We had a bunch of em and none had a high action. You Definitely have to straighten the Neck though! Great players and the pickup rocks. Ended up buying on of them bad boys. It's my main acoustic guitar since..

Another excellent demo by Meg!👍👍
Thanks for watching!
I love mine! It is like having two guitars, the pickup is great and so rootsy and as acoustic it has pleanty of soul.
Been looking for a smaller acoustic for a loooong time. I think I’m going to give this one a shot.
Have her do more vids fellas. She's great!
Great sounding little unit, and an at an excellent price!
Thanks Meg.!. This thing sounds fantastic & your playing & demo are great 👍👍
You just sold a guitar 😀
Great demo, sounds wonderful and that's exactly how I play slide!
Thanks Meg, just ordered this gem.

Great review, she's really good :)
Sounds great
It sounds good unplugged and plugged in!
Anyone ever say, “Shut up Meg”? 😆 Family Guy reference. Your review was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much.
Do you recommend this for non blues players? 😂 i still want it

awesome demo!
Great video, Thank you... I bought this guitar today, then found your vid 🎸🎼🎵

What was that tune you played at 2 minutes? Superb!
Hi Meg👋🏻😃
Just ordered mine 😁
much love
At 2:20 were you playing without love (we’re both wasting time) by Ray Wylie Hubbard??
Very nice!!
terrific!
Do you like the gin rickey over the Epiphone el-00?
Very nice video
Making me wish I had guitar money... I saw a guy do mod on one of these with a nice pickup... ☮🔥
Hilarious attempt at slide :D
Would this guitar be excellent for ragtime ?
Man you can find these for $200. Love it
Where please?
thank you- what amp were you playing thru or what type of amp might you suggest?
What caliber of strings do you recommend for this guitar?
Good review. What is the neck width?
What makes this a limited edition? Looks the same as mine.

On mine the fret tips are a little sharp. Does anyone else notice this? 🤔 thank you
Sounds very bright with no bottom end. I know it's difficult to get a real feel unless it's a in person viewing
It is absolutely terrifying how CLOSE Meg plays the guitar to my style of playing. It's interchangeable.
Sounds very "tinny" to me.
I hear the action is quite high on these bad boys?
