I literally ordered the JBL club pro+, then took them back and picked these up today. They felt heavy and not very secure. Flossy got it right... These are very very comfortable!! They feel very secure and the audio quality/call quality is fantastic. ANC is easy to control and makes a noticable difference. Plus the app is lit. My new favs 🔥🔥
@@jacktackfly8838 the main issue with the jbls for me was the weight. even after trying different tips, they always felt like gravity was moving them out my ear. Which is interesting because they go so far into your ear canal. The oval shape the jabras have now, along with the shorter stem, I believe is the difference maker. So I can definitely say the ANC on theJabras had a noticable effect because the seal was better, with much less ear fatigue. I didn't buy them for this purpose... however I would be confident wearing them at a gym session. Hope I answered your question.

But I don't feel you have to compromise much with this set. However, my biggest gripe is the same as Flossy...I don't like that only the right earpiece can be used independently. This has an indirect adverse affect on battery life performance. Simply because switching to the left earpiece while the right is charging, is not possible. You can't have it all lol
This is why I always wait until Flossy reviews something I want. 1. Covers price 2. Levels of Shakeage (don’t know if I spelled it right) 3. And finally, doesn’t care about the companies feelings. He’s for the people!
I got the Active 75t (your review helped me decide). Very happy with them after about a year. I've had occasional connection problems, but nothing major. They're super comfortable, and the sound is pretty good too.
I bought the 75 T's based on your recommendation. Never regretted it. They have awesome clarity and sound profile and I have my EQ turned to "savage mode" best headphones I've ever used.
With the number of buds out today, I'm far more discerning in my assessments. It's an automatic pass on these for me due to not being able to use one bud at a time while the other is charging. I listen to lots of audio books and that specific feature is great for the many hours I spend listening. The price isn't even an issue when this feature is present. Thanks for another great review!
what did you end up getting? that is a concern for me as well. i have had my jaybird vista for about 4 years. no big complaints except the mic and phone call connectivity, but i would like to upgrade and maybe get better sound.

I use my headphones at work 1 at a time i bought the 75ts and when i found out you can only use 1 i returned them. Its soo stupid i thought they would have fixed it this time around. How disappointing
People who enjoy the bass on the 75ts seriously need to learn the difference between naturally produced acoustic bass and digitally boosted bass. The 85ts have a driver twice as big! 12 mm vs 6. There is no comparison. They come with a flat sound signature this year but handle the eq far greater than most earbuds. Once you boost it just a little you will have real, deep and resonating bass that will put most earbuds to shame. Also the 75ts have a treble boost around 10 kHz. So they actually sound brighter than the 85s. The 85s are flat with recessed treble and the 75s have a boosted lower bass with recessed mid bass and sharp treble.
No independent bud use is an automatic no-go for me. I have two pairs of the 65t from back when that was acceptable, but the 75t and 85t need to get with the competition. Buds+, Buds Live, and 95% of the Amazon budget buds have that base covered.
Completely agree, having had the 65t and 75ts it's ridiculous that they haven't sorted that feature out yet. Especially since they announced a software update with that feature for 75ts which they cancelled very discreetly.

I had 75T’s, lost them on a job site and liked them a lot. Went to the 85T, and it felt like a huge step back. The battery life was meh, the fit was not great, and the sound was better on the 75T’s. I now have the Bose after returning the 85T’s and they’re really solid. They really should get an eq on the app, but the sound is still better and the ANC is ridiculous. I went to a laundromat with a bunch of kids screaming in it and I didn’t hear a thing. 75T’s are the best bang for the buck now, and Best Buy has a million colors of them.

I picked up the Elite Active 75t based off your review. If you have the 75t, there is a firmware update to get the ANC. These are the BEST earbuds I’ve ever tried and I’ve spent an ungodly amount of money on earbuds.
In 2020 every earbud released needs to be able to play by itself in either ear with a price tag of over $200! It loses a major go my opinion because it's not able to

And the 75t do sound like it has more bass but it's really because of the ear tip they trap more sound in your ear due to the sealed snug fit but the trade off is less comfort and that clogged feeling. The 85t is far more comfy and they have an air pass through port on top. I prefer the 85t although it sound a bit less bassy and that's because of the oval tip shape which let's sound escape some but to me it gives a better balanced sound and I prefer to hear every instrument on equal level not one dominating the other.

For music playback, most TWEs do a decent enough job. My main criteria for choosing a TWE is call quality and comfort. The 85T has better ANC but call quality is not better than the 75T which is disappointing
The Jabra app in my opinion is the best of any other wireless bud. That ambient noise track and the customizable sound is really good. But still not being able to use either bud one at a time is a huge problem that keeps me from upgrading from my 65t.

Awesome review as always, esp enjoyed today’s singing masterclass. Just picked up a pair of the elite active 75t for gym and outdoors use, ANC is similar to my AirPods with latest update better than I was expecting, not up there with my Technics but very useable. For what I am going to use them for and that I got them for 100 bucks on eBay I’m good. Was hoping the mids would have been fixed in the 85t’s maybe over time and fixes then I’ll take another look.
The fact you cannot use these independently is a HUGE letdown. I work for Best Buy so I got a deal for 65t actives. I love them and they are great. I will say that I wish they lasted longer for sure. I get about 4H playtime at about 50% or lower volume. Otherwise not being Type C charger and not having magnet snap in on the buds or lid is also a letdown. As well, ear fatigue is a big one for me and the "fullness" in my ear can make it irritating. Until Jabra gets their shit together and lets us use left and right by themselves, I probably won't upgrade did I break or lose them. I think the 85T would be great for normal commuting and everyday use, and the 75T's are likely for the music lovers and gym people. Thats just my take without having either 75T or 85T. Peace to Prodigy and big shout to 1995 The biggest problem with these Jabras in general is the mics are so DAMN sensitive, they pick up ambient noise and amplify it to your callers.
Purchased based on your Reco - love them! These are secondary to my basic 1st gen AirPods that fall out of my ears constantly. obviously these 85T’s sound crazy… having ANC and Hear Throufh is badass. Bass is excellent… finally!
I had the choice between the 75t and 85t. for me it was a no brainer i got the 75t's, there's also a difference in size which i don't like because of the extra anc chip the 85t's stick out of your ears further and i don't really car about the anc improvement. Great review as usual Flossy.
First, I love your reviews; very entertaining. I'd love to get the Jabra Elite 75t active, the problem for me is that ANY ear buds with a price of over $150 SHOULD DEFINITELY HAVE dual connection. The "Master/ Slave" connection with ear buds at that price (especially with the 85t being $230) is unacceptable. Again, that is the only reason I won't buy them. I may be going with the JBL Club Pros.
I don’t if you reviewed these H-5 Headspace Bluetooth earbuds. But you can hear your music in any bud, while the other bud is charging. Which is good. Because you can hear your music until one bud is out of a charge. Throw it in the case and take out the other one and continue to listen to your music while the other bud is recharging. The best thing is. It doesn’t matter which ear it’s in. Because it fits nice a snug in either ear. It really doesn’t make any sense why they bothered to put left or right. When it works in either ear. And they are comfortable to wear.

2:13 ANC on my 75T Active didn't do a thing, but I need the higher IP rating, and I hate the fit, because I prefer original wired Airpod style, followed by Galaxy Buds Live, so I'm keeping my 75T until Active 85T is out.

Just picked up the 75t Active because of this review. Got the Elite 75t Active with wireless charging at Costco for $149. Great review.

I had some old Samsung IconX with a case always discharging so now I'm going for the 85t which will work great to listen to music (I'm an old school metal fan) and for videoconferencing (working from home so definitely need noise-cancelling!)
