To anyone who has bought these thinking something is wrong with the transparency mode. It's because of the way these TW3 is made. When you put them in your ears you need to slightly twist them back to expose the mic that allows sound in. Insert and twist back as stated in the instructions.

@@HenryTheBoilermaker3rdYear I love them! I use them for working out, watching movies, and sometimes gaming on my switch. The noise cancellation is crazy. Although you need a secure fit for it to work properly. I’ve also used them at airports and was extremely pleased with how they performed. I would definitely recommend them, I bought another pair for my brother and he loves them compared to the different apple ear pods we’ve had in the past. I do know since I bought them theirs been a lot of good alternatives release. Might need to do some research. Best of luck

I just had a dream that I met Floss but it was a bit crazy because it was a younger Floss still working in the medical field. Just got mine today after pre-ordering. I have the MTW1 and MTW2 also, kind of retired the 1's, but still may repurpose the 2's. The 3's are definitely a WIN. I always watch Flossy's vids before my next tech purchase. Love the honest open-minded reviews. And like Shoes, my orange cat also likes to watch me unbox something and tries to help (inspect for quality).

@@B9idz as far as sound they are both about the same I think. The Momentum 3 can connect to 2 devices simultaneously. The CX Plus can connect to one device. Then use the Smart Control app to switch to another device . Can't use both devices simultaneously

I ended up buying a pair of these after returning my Bose ear buds. The noise canceling was better in the Bose but the Bose didn't fit as well and as comfortable in my ear as these Sennheiser's.
Thank you for your videos, you are one of the very few RUclipsrs I trust at all. Your videos are honest and technically profound, which is very rare here. I'll get them when the price goes down a bit. Until then I am very happy with my Jabra Elite 85T. I know they weren't your thing, but after my bad experience with the Sony WF1000 XM3, which broke after a year, I decided not to spend that much money on the XM4. So far, I've only had good experiences with Sennheiser - as well as with Jabra. I still have an older model here, in-ears with a neckband. They are at least 4 years old, but they look and work like the first day.
another awesome feature of these no one mentions is the built in tile. You can get them to make a sound if you lose them, which for me, is friggin awesome !
For those still interested in this earbuds... They sound great. Way better than AirPods Pro 2 and Beats Fit Pro. I also had the B&O Beoplay EQ and I like the sound on the B&O better but there's not much of a difference, the instrument separation is better on the EQ's but the MTW3 are way louder and more comfortable... *Excellent value if you buy a pair today* Also the earbuds got an update recently and there are more options in the EQ settings. Now is a 5 bar eq instead of 3 and there's also sound personalization or "profile" in which the app ask you a couple of "questions" and based on your answers will set up the earbuds to the one that represents more what you're looking for in your sound

Just got mine today as a replacement for my Momentum 2s that broke recently...I'm not totally sold on the look so far, and I would prefer a physical button on a future version, but man, my ears were in love the second the music started playing. Good shit Sennheiser.
The battery drains itself when not in use after a day or two. Also the hinge on my case is starting to break. Otherwise they've been great for me, and 50 bucks is an absolute steal if you can put up with the battery.

Flossy you got me to buy these headphones and I did the hood eq setting you suggested and I was blown away, these are definitely for bass heads or music lovers
From purely SQ perspective, LDAC combined with lossless streaming (and 3rd party EQ app) of the XM4 is king in my opinion. If you can't use LDAC because of your phone or only listen to Mp3s of varying bitrates, then I'd say the XM4's are top 5 among TW buds but no longer king of the hill with everyone else having had time to study and catch up. I'd say at this price point, it would come down to everything else about the buds being more important to you or not (fit, battery life, features, etc).
Finally got these in the mail today. Happy with my upgrade from tw2 to 3. Great stuff sennheiser. I tried the b&o at the b&o experience store near me and I just couldn't justify the extra 150 dollars. They sound nice but the difference is miniscule compared to the price difference if you know what I mean. I used the tw2 since they were released and they served me well. Only recently did battery life start to degrade. Otherwise I would have kept em honestly. They were that good. And the tw3 are actually noticeable better just going back and forth to compare. Very nice buds! Oh! BTW for those wondering, the ANC is much much better this time around. Floss ain't kidding around when he says it's a whoosh feeling.
@@lerunisaac6738 yeah! I'm super happy with the battery on the tw3! Even with ANC on its at least 7 hours, very impressive. Towards the point when I ordered these the tw2s were getting about 1.5 hours without ANC!. They degraded very badly and rapidly towards the end there.

I have the True momentum 2 and it seems with the last update they ruined them. Sound quality went down overall, removed the custom buttons as well. I ordered the soundcore liberty 3 Pro with what you said and other people said the same with reviews as well

The MTW2 have been sold out almost everywhere in Germany for months. So makes sense that the last few that are still around are expensive. At their lowest they were at 187€ on Amazon.
I usually test my any earwear with the music by the group BASSOTRONICS and the song is "Sub Base Excursion" . This song has real bass to test any system.
Please compare these to the upcoming B&O Beoplay ex in terms of sound quality and overall wear comfort. I am looking to get new earphones and will pick either of these two. Thank you in advance Floss

Floss, I was on the fence between these and the XM4's for a while now but this video just helped to seal the deal. Just got mine today as a replacement for my Momentum 2s that broke recently...I'm not totally sold on the look so far, and I would prefer a physical button on a future version, but man, my ears were in love the second the music started playing. Good shit Sennheiser.

The battery drains itself when not in use after a day or two. Also the hinge on my case is starting to break. Otherwise they've been great for me, and 50 bucks is an absolute steal if you can put up with the battery.

From purely SQ perspective, LDAC combined with lossless streaming (and 3rd party EQ app) of the XM4 is king in my opinion. If you can't use LDAC because of your phone or only listen to Mp3s of varying bitrates, then I'd say the XM4's are top 5 among TW buds but no longer king of the hill with everyone else having had time to study and catch up. I'd say at this price point, it would come down to everything else about the buds being more important to you or not (fit, battery life, features, etc).

Finally got these in the mail today. Happy with my upgrade from tw2 to 3. Great stuff sennheiser. I tried the b&o at the b&o experience store near me and I just couldn't justify the extra 150 dollars. They sound nice but the difference is miniscule compared to the price difference if you know what I mean.
I used the tw2 since they were released and they served me well. Only recently did battery life start to degrade. Otherwise I would have kept em honestly. They were that good. And the tw3 are actually noticeable better just going back and forth to compare. Very nice buds! Oh! BTW for those wondering, the ANC is much much better this time around. Floss ain't kidding around when he says it's a whoosh feeling.

@@lerunisaac6738 yeah! I'm super happy with the battery on the tw3! Even with ANC on its at least 7 hours, very impressive. Towards the point when I ordered these the tw2s were getting about 1.5 hours without ANC!. They degraded very badly and rapidly towards the end there.

I have the True momentum 2 and it seems with the last update they ruined them. Sound quality went down overall, removed the custom buttons as well. I ordered the soundcore liberty 3 Pro with what you said and other people said the same with reviews as well

The MTW2 have been sold out almost everywhere in Germany for months. So makes sense that the last few that are still around are expensive.
At their lowest they were at 187€ on Amazon.
I usually test my any earwear with the music by the group BASSOTRONICS and the song is "Sub Base Excursion" . This song has real bass to test any system.
Shoes started to take the case. Shoes knew before hand.
