- Last weekend we watched 2 Bundesliga games, a dramatic 2. Bundesliga game, did numerous German stadium tours and a whole lot of GROUNDHOPPING 🤩 Joined by my good mate ToddyP we searched the Western and Northern regions of Germany, trying to find him a football club he could call his own... 🇩🇪 We didn't just look at Bundesliga 1 & 2 clubs, but 3. Liga and even Regionalliga teams. Did we succeed⁉️ I'll be back again next month for round 2 of exploring these areas of Deutschland, through games and stadium tours. I came back in April to look at the stadiums for the Euros, but whilst over here I fell IN LOVE with German Football. So join me, SUBSCRIBE as we go on this journey together to find out more about the beautiful game (football) in this beautiful country! ⚽️ Fortuna Düsseldorf - MSV Duisburg - Schalke - Rot Weiss Essen - Rot Weiss Oberhausen - VFL Bochum - Werder Bremen - FC St. Pauli - Hamburg (HSV) 👉🏽 WHERE NEXT⁉️

I would love to see a video of you in Leipzig. You have two incredible clubs (Lok and Chemie) and a marketing product (Red Bull) next door. The stadiums of Lok and Chemie are both quite unique in their own way. The Bruno-Plache-Stadion for example, has one of the oldest (92 years) original wooden stands in the world.
@@ketkeomphonphone will 100% return to Leipzig for sure 😎 love learning about football in East Germany
@@RysFootyParadise just dont pay any Attention to RB please. that "club" does not deserve it. Chemie and Lok are pretty cool tho

That is a great suggestion
both Lok & Chemie have rocking atmospheres.

Oberhausen❤️ hometown😍
In Düsseldorf downtown at the Burgplatz is a second shop is open 6 days in the week
Will need to do Düsseldorf some justice next time I visited & pop in 👍🏾
Ewige Liebe, Fortuna geschwor'n! ♥️🤍♥️🤍♥️
We also have a Shop at the original "Home" of Fortuna. Next to the Paul Janes Stadium and the youth grounds.
Please don't forget to visit the real East, like Rostock, Magdeburg, Lok, Chemie, Dresden, Halle and Cottbus to name a few examples
oh nooo you did Dusseldorf injustice :D there are several fanshops all around town and you should've visited the rhine derby which was last weekend. a thrilling 2:2 last minute equalizer game betwee fiercest of fierce rivals Fortuna Düsseldorf and FC Köln. The atmosphere was second to none. Next time maybe
Will deffo be back to do Fortuna some justice 😊🍻
@@RysFootyParadise would love if you would also go to Kölns stadium if you are already in the area
@@dasbaum9040 I did a wander around the outside of the stadium before, but no match yet so will definitely come back :)
You kinda missed one of the best games of the season with 1. FC Kaiserslautern - Hamburger SV. It was pure magic!
Most Clubs have their Fanshops inside the citys or in shopping centers. Usually the Fanshops in the stadium only open on matchdays or when they have public training sessions. The F95 Shop is in the Old Town near the Rhine for example. You can find a Schalke, Dortmund and Bayern Shop in the Centro Oberhausen for example.
When I was in Dusseldorf in April, I was able to go to the Paul Janes Stadion (about 20mins drive from MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA), which I think is used by Fortuna for Reserve & youth games and they had a club shop open during normal working hours.
yeah I think a lot of these clubs have shops in the town centre don't they :)
Bro the fanshop at the Paul Janes Stadium is not in the City centre....
Nur der MSV🤍💙🦓
im a season card holder from schalke in the nordkurve... i was there like every time and something has broken inside me last friday
Visit a game of HSV in second division. The Atmosphere is wonderful.
You should visit the MPH Arena (VFB Stuttgart‘s Stadium)
As I said in the other video, I would suggest Hertha again😉😂 Apart from that, Leipzig is a very interesting and underrated soccer city with two traditional clubs (Chemie and Lok) in the 4th division and the "new" RB. Chemie in particular has very good fans, but I've heard that they don't like groundhoppers😬. In my opinion, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Dynamo Dresden and 1860 Munich are also very interesting clubs
For Fortuna you had to go to Flingern the district of Fortuna Düsseldorf where they have been founded. There is also a Fanshop, which is open almost everyday.
The real Fortuna Fanshop is in the Old Town District. Go there next time and grab some Alt Bier before or after your shopping spree.
I think everyone will agree with me that you definitely have to go to the East: Magdebug, Dresden, Rostock simply have an incredibly good atmosphere. Unfortunately, you missed what was perhaps the best duel in Germany this year in terms of atmosphere. last week, when Dresden played against Rostock
Hoping to get to Dresden vs Aue in Feb
Rot Weiss Essen ❤❤❤
The first pronounce of Wattenscheid was correct.. even if its just a part of... Bochum
we call it "the parkhaus", here in beautiful düsseldorf.
Stauder Beer come from Essen.
Loving these footy vlogs!! New subscriber 👍
Welcome aboard! Just light hearted football exploring 🍻
VfL Bochum 🟦⬜
Fortuna Düsseldorf, just crazy history with great Tradition and loyal small familiar fanbase. We know how to suffer and know how to party
🐝Borussia Dortmund🐝 what else☝
If you come back to Düsseldorf, I will show you the Beauty of Fortuna and the reason to fall in love with the moody diva.
Great video. Love the smaller German clubs as I do the English Championship and League 1 ones. You cover both and I love it. Cheers to you man. 🍺🤘
Glad you like them!
I'd say Waldhof Mannheim, Dynamo Dresden and 1860 München could be a great watch and adventure. Nothing better than second and third tier German football atmosphere!
I liked that there were banner and displaces for SGS Essen while you were talking about RW.
Yeah the women’s game was on that day 😊
Nur die Eintracht Frankfurt! ⚫️⚪️🔴
Da war eine schneller
Bochum definetly the best stadium fully completely unbiased (not)
Hey everyone
come to Freiburg! i promise you wont regret it.
Bochum ist the best 🎉
can't officially have a club with being neutral on the channel, but I got a lotta love for VFL
You have to visit Hannover 96 as well! Should be an easy stop on your route from Dortmund to Kiel for the next video :D
mate, I want to get to Hannover 96 vs Schalke on the Saturday - struggling to find tickets 😅 hilfen mich
Come to Düsseldorf vs HSV 6.10.2024 i give U Tickets @@RysFootyParadise
Oftentimes there is also an official fan shop in the city center. It usually has opening hours more akin to regular stores, while the fan shops on the stadium grounds are more closely tied to match-days.
that makes sense :) I think because lots of German stadiums are on the outskirts of town now, whereas in Britain they're still very central
@@RysFootyParadiseFortuna Düsseldorf has a Fanshop in the centre of the oldtown. It is worth a visit for sure.
HSV!!
Go to a Hertha Berlin Game next
Would be so nice to see you in Stuttgart Degerloch at the Gazi Stadium. It‘s the oldest stadium in germany and the home of the Stuttgarter Kickers. 💙🤍
now that sounds like an idea!
Lebenslang grün-weiß! 💚🤍
Absolutely loving these videos on German Football Ry. For me its Hannover 96. Went on a twinning exchange with the school in 1990. Before it was redeveloped Loved the stadium with its massive stand on one side of the ground and the old school feel about the ground .
Glad you like them! Possibly Hannover vs Schalke next month but may do Rostock vs Aachen

oooo that's a tasty one, right up my alley
When you were at Rot Weiß Essen, you had to pay 5€ for parking because there was a match of "SGS Essen" that day. It's a women's football club that shares the same stadium as RWE.
I was somewhere in the background because I was involved in the organisation. Too bad I didn't see you. 19:47 I was running up the stairs 😅
It made sense after I realise there was a game on 😅 I should have mentioned that in the video
F.C. Hansa Rostock only!
Go to Avnet arena pls
BVB vs. FC St. Pauli on friday? Going too but at the away section, hope I'll run into you pre-game :D
that's the one 👍🏽 grab a beer 🍻
FC Köln Is the best
wat is mit finch passiert?
Nice to see you in duisburg my hometown. My club since I can think is MSV Duisburg.
The problem about the shop is currently only opened for ticket sale because we recently switched from capelli to back to Adidas.
It is planned that at some point in this year the shop is re-opened.
The 3 shirts you saw are the current sets, but probably will be available in November for the public.
Happy to see you guys enjoying rhe region and the my hometown, happy to see you here again.
looks like a great club! Pronounced - DOOS-BORG?

10:00 its the "fan container".. There are the flags, double holder drums and so on...
But you can buy stickers and some food and drikes there. Also have a chat with the ultras. But but sure if a cam would make them happy.
Btw our city is called "Düsburg"
Visit the Fritz Walter Stadium (also known as Betze). One of the most legendary stadiums in Germany!
the Oberhausen jersey you are wearing 🤮

Gotta come to the South lads, it's way nicer down here
deffo will be down soon! We were laughing at Germans calling Gelsenkirchen "rough" - it'd be considered "posh" if it was in England 😅
In Hamburg only Black - White - Blue :D

Oberhausen beste! 🍀
They were very nice people
0:52 at least they got the beer right
Come to FCN❤️🖤
Sehr cool very nice coole Projekt
@19:17 you were charged for parking because that day was the home match of the Women's club SGS Essen against Bayer Leverkusen. Not Rot-Weiss Essen's fault...
I tried explaining that to John Wick but he was brain washed by RWOberhausen...
That's very simple. There are actually only two clubs that come into question and are ahead of the other clubs in terms of fans. Schalke would actually be the clear number one. However, due to the relegation and the mismanagement, I would only rank them second. In first place, just ahead of Schalke, is VfB Stuttgart. The fans have always been in the top 5, I would say. But thanks to their sporting success, they have reached new heights and are virtually unrivalled in the Bundesliga.
Other clubs that are also still quite good are Union Berlin, Frankfurt, Cologne, St. Pauli, HSV and Gladbach.
Dortmund is overrated and Bayern is too big.
Did you look also for a good old German Football Stadion?
So take a look to a beautyfull City of Siegen in NRW and look the Stadion of the Sportfreunde Siegen
love exploring former stadiums
watch a game at hamburg because youve got to experience the Nordkurve live before you decide if hamburg is your club but besides the 2nd and 3rd last club it was a great video and never forget NURDERHSV
will 100% be back :)
🟤⚪️🔥
Probably you should also move to the Rhein-Neckar area and watch Waldhof Mannheim, Karlsruher SC, Kaiserslautern and VfB Stuttgart. Each of them hate each other (except for Kaiserslautern and Stuttgart cause they both hate Karlsruhe and vis versa😅) but all of them have incredible good atmosphere (Mannheim might be a bit lower on this).
Over all you chose already some gems of german football like Oberhausen, Duisburg and Wattenscheid 😂. Pretty nices choises were made here 😂
Cheers.
I’ll get to every club eventually 😅🇩🇪
Doos burg
you need to visit mönchengladbach
I did a stadium tour for the channel of Borussia Park and the old stadium too :) but need to experience a match day for sure!
nur der HSV!
Tourists. Stay away from my ground!
love you too
You didnt go to Wattenscheid?
ran out of time before the game at Bochum, but I will return on match day :)
Are you alone on this planet mate? No one around you to ask how to say Duisburg somewhat properly? Very sad
apologies if we hurt your feelings
@@RysFootyParadise I really don't care about it man it's not about me or my feelings whahaha why would you think that? It's more about you and your friend making fools out of yourselves and coming across like 12 year olds man think about it
Will there be a longer video on HSV? Mainz and Frankfurt would also be amazing!
Of course! Stay tuned 👀 got an English Matchday today to keep the Premier League audience happy 😎

Rot-Weiss Essen 🔴⚪😎🤜
as a Dortmund fan i would even argue that the best club to be fan of in germany is "St. Pauli." unmatched atmosphere in the stadium its just amazing and the fans stand in for stuff that you can feel good for, equality, women rights etc the whole shananigans ... dortmund now gets sponsored by the biggest weapon manufacturer of germany Rheinmetall ... how can i sell anyone this shit as positiv you basicly pay for weapons to kill people when you buy merch from my club ...
of course when your conservative or rightwing pauli is basicly your arch enemy but hey ...
Also so many clubs nowadays have problems with racism and rightwing people taking over the ultras and stuff like that and you can be sure thats not happening there xD
overall if your not HSV fan and your not conservative you have to love them even if you like me are fan of a different team, like how can i not just love them xD
Omg 🙈
Womens right. Indeed. I thought they showed a great show of support for Women after NYE 2015 in Cologne and elsewhere.
@@DaxRaider people here mock them a bit as a club for “Hipsters” but if that’s the worst criticism they’re gonna get, it’s all good 😅👍🏾 they ONLY thing that puts me off St. Pauli is that I feel strongly about keeping politics as far away from football as possible - for me, football is an escape - 90minutes we can be free of the stresses of the world
@@RysFootyParadise I'm from Hamburg and found it fitting what you said. St. Pauli would really be the club I would choose based on their morals etc. But HSV chose me... I couldn't escape it eventhough I grew up 10 minutes from the Millerntor^^
