Hola Tony ! 😊 Thanks for all the helpful tips and information for a rewarding visit to Medina Azahara . I appreciate your input regarding one’s expectations in visiting an excavation site . 👍 I got to visit Cordoba, but it was just a brief one. I was just amazed with the Mezquita . But after watching this video and your earlier videos, I realized I need to go back and revisit Cordoba !!!👍 Thanks Tony for another wonderful video !!! 👍 👍 👍 Looking forward to your next road-trip !!! 👌 😃
Deeply appreciate for Tony's massive information🤗. Agree Tony's suggestion a guided tour could improve my future visit in Apr. However, is there any Guided Tours that in English. It appears its not available🤔
Thanks Tony. Unfortunately I can't find any English tour. The search results from Google are all tours in Spanish. There's only one offer English tour but finally confirmed by email only Spanish tour available at the moment. Would your please list out some English tour. Either provide links here or PM me. Thank you ao much in advance🙏

Thank you, Fatma. To be honest, I don't think the order will make any difference, but if you go on a guided visit (our strong suggestion, you will have to visit the site at the time agreed with your guide. All the best.
It's on our to-do list, but it's a highly complex issue, as the Semana Santa in Seville has nothing to do with the one in Toledo and the one in Toledo nothing to do with the one in Zaragoza. Still trying to work out how to deal with it.
Every one of your videos presents information I haven''t seen or heard anywhere else. This is no exception. Entiendo que los guías hablan castellano y por eso, tengo que estudiar con más diligencia.
We are really glad to hear that, Lynn, we strive to bring the best of Spain to our RUclips channel. And to try to be as much helpful as possible. In spite of the importance of tourism for the Spanish economy, command of even the most basic English language remains an issue still unresolved. Your Spanish sounds really good, so you should be alright!
They were Arabs from the Umayyad dynasty, not just “Muslims”. Islam is a religion. Anyone on this earth can be a “Muslim” if they want to be. Please name things as they are. The Umayyads were Arabs and their capital was Damascus in Syria.
Hi Tony thank you for all the great informations and tips. Its super duper helpful to get to know spain to plan our travel. Keep the good work and your channel deserve more recognition!! Are you any social media instagram maybe?
Many thanks for your words! Running a proper Instagram account requires time and at the present time we don't have it (we run three similar channels in Spanish, Portuguese and English). So we decided to focus exclusively on RUclips. Kind regards!
Hi Tony, thanks for the informative video! Do you think it is possible to visit the Medina Azahara in a wheelchair? Is the yellow bus accessible? My partner can get out of his wheelchair and go down stairs on his hands and knees if absolutely necessary.
Hi Anaïs. None of the buses are accesible and in Medina Azahara itself, wheelchair users only get to see a tiny fraction of the monument - we actually don't know how a wheelchair user can get to the archeological site itself, the shuttle bus was not accesible last time we went there.

You would have to check with local travel operators, some offer guided tours in English.

I have never seen such beautiful shots of Madinat AlZahra 😍 isn’t it better to visit the museum before the site?
Thank you, Fatma. To be honest, I don't think the order will make any difference, but if you go on a guided visit (our strong suggestion, you will have to visit the site at the time agreed with your guide. All the best.
You have the most unbiased videos ever. Too bad the only day we have in Cordoba is Christmas Day and I’m sure the visitors center will be closed.
Thank you, Syeda. Yes, unfortunately Medina Azahara will be closed on the 25th, reopening on the 26th.
Prepare for an episode for next Semana Santa

Medina A-TH-ARA🙂 I am not a masochist but I did go to Andalusia in July
This is year is being true hell, a long stretch of days with temperatures above 40 degrees.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal yeah it's a scorcher but is that why you guys banned A/C usage below 80 degrees in public?
How difficult is it to find a taxi at Madina Azahara to take me back to Cordoba?
We don't remember having seen taxis on standby at Medina Azahara. Would be best to arrange a return time with the taxi driver.
