Okay so I’ve never bred before. When going for mutations, say health and melee, is it possible to get mutations in multiple stats or does a baby on get mutations in one stat? Like say the male baby is born with a health mutation. If I reuse that male baby to breed with a clean female, will it’s baby also only have a chance at getting health mutations or can other stats be gotten as well from the child slowing the process?
Mutations can be gotten on different stats each time you get one. That's why professional breeders will have 200 Rex for mutating because they will get several random mutations while they are only looking for a specific Stat increase.
@@Avarial also, is there a certain amount of health/melee points you recommend post tame? I’ve only been able to get 35 BASE stats post take so far. Worried I’ll need monsters for alpha dragon once I finally get to that. Everyone is recommending theriz but I really don’t wanna raise even more Dino’s
@@Kyler_97 35 is a bit low but should be enough. Theri are better because they take reduced damage and can heal with veggie cakes but Rex can get the job done against dragon just be prepared to lose some of them, it will happen. Currently in ASA however the dragon is lag bugged and rarely lands so when you get ready for that fight you will want to bring friends with good shotguns. For Broodmother and Megapithicus Alphas just make sure your Rex hp is at 30k and they should be fine with decent saddles.
Not really. A few hours of killing with each Rex or if you've saved your Explorer Notes, grab one with each Rex and go on a killing spree to really speed up the xp. With the new ASA location system you can even send them all to wander for a few days while you gather all of the other materials for the fight then pick them up with a bunch of free levels.
