Played with them a bunch of times "back in the day" when I was the drummer for Wretch. Great bunch of guys, great times too, we need to bring stuff like this back again.
Hahaha I remember the day I got the VHS in the mail that contained this video.... I knew my Purgatory tribute page would be the ONLY ONE to have this at the time (2005). Shortly afterwards the guys contacted me and it became the official Purgatory myspace, shame they took down all the custom layouts, tables and photo albums! My Tied To The Trax original Pre-Mix Test Pressing LP is a gem at the very top of my favorite Metal items.... HAIL THE CLASSIC CLEVELAND STEEL, AND LEAVE ALL IN RUINNNNNSSS!!!!!
Kenny Jockel You remain to have the best metal collection from the 80's that ive yet to see from anyone else, ive seen metal collections as big as a house man, like Mike Zancheli from Dimentianon but he dont have the classics, all new releases basically. Youll need a succesor at some point, rhats how legendary your collection is bro
Hey, there might be a Purgatory remastered tied to the trax album. can you contact me with any images and photos of anything to do w/ purgatory to me please, i am assisting in this remaster at the moment and i want to put together a nice looking cover and etc.
I loved this band and attended many concerts of theirs during the 80's. This was the peak of the Cleveland metal scene, and Purgatory clearly led the pack. I was bummed when they split up, but still have the tied to the trax album, which I converted to cd years ago. I listen to that like any other top album from my youth.
Jeff "Nothing" Hatrix is an Awesome singer & I'm happy he's pulled away from Mushroomhead. Taking Tommy Church with him to start up some new metal. Can't wait to see what is next for this guy & the Cleveland Metal Scene. (216) 4 life!
I got introduced to this band from another great cleveland band i hung out with, chemikill.. Used to drink and party with both all the time and watch them practice and got in free for their gigs when they played at flash gordan's and the fantasy. Great times, great guys and great music.. miss those days
its a shame metal is not like this anymore, its very depressing, the only people i see nowadays wearing misfits or of the like are all these methed out emos, scenes, hipsters, goths, no real metal people, it went from being about metal to being about image, money, sex, and drugs.
death to no one-everyone listens what he/she likes...I love TRUE HEAVY Metal, I love thrash, I love music that I like. and i do tolerate emo stuff and Jesus music

So Jeff was in a badass band before being in a badass band? Talent, right there!
Isn't the lead singer Jeffrey Hatrix, "Jeffrey Nothing", from Mushroomhead?

The music is really cool, with strong punk influences, but why the singer sometimes try to copy Rob Halford?
It doesn't fit with this style of rock.
