- This is a remake of an older tutorial I did years ago, but now it's much faster due to the new features in Touchdesigner.

You're the indisputable master of pixels... It's incredible, what you can make just by arranging pixels. My biggest respect. Thank you so much for sharing these great tutorials.
thank you massive for your kind words. I'm delighted you like my work
@@paketa12 very welcome 😊
yo love your videos, I have been using TD for years and every video from you is completely new to me
thank you massive
Thank you for your video.
I'd like to leave a memo two important things i think.
1. To get proper length of edges, in math chop, op tab, set "Combined Channel" to "Length" .
2. To rotate lines properly, in Geometry comp, instance tab, set "Transfer order" to "Scale Rotate Translate".
and instance 2 tab, set "rotate to vector : order" to "Rotate, then Rotate to Vector" instead of "pre-Rot" you said.
Thank you again. i learned a lot following your tutorial.
thank you so much
Great one! Geometry transformations in TOPs are slowly starting to make sense to me. Thank you.
Thank you so much. Your tutorials are always enlightening!
Thank you for sharing great knowledge!! I came here wanting to solve nearpoints function like Houdini. I learned many useful tips!
Wow! Great tutorial! Shader, Math, Vector operations with TOP nodes. Enlightening!
thank you so much, glad you like it
Always thankful tutorial. Its getting familiar to use the noise top with the rgb data while in learning from yours. but constantly, Its always confused, tho. Even, when I discussed with my friend about your tutorial, we always have a difficult with these RGB friends, but absolutely genius! Take care in these days :D
It’s really great!
i really have little clue as to what you were talking about for the entirety of the 45 minute tutorial, nonetheless its exciting to learn about the endless possibilities of touch designer. i'm really enjoying your videos, please keep them coming!
thank you so much. I'm delighted you like it. I'll keep them coming as I'm not good at anything else :)
Great tutorial as always, congrats master. Is there any way to render a regular video (from a movie file top for example) in this plexus style?
Thanks :)
inLine component is not described :-(
I didn't achieve to find/redesign it.
hey man super nice, but what to do when you dont have the Pre-Rot anymore? looking long time for some resultsbut cant find it
Dear Paketa, thanks for this cool tutorial~ Sincerely apprciate, but i have a little question, can this concept be used along with Kinect?
i mean, when kinect detect my body shape i would like to recreate my body shape with this plexus visual, is it possible?if so, can you give me some advice?
love this! would it not be possible to use the Alpha as "Active" channel @8:37 instead of scale?
sure you can go with 'active' ...that was not always there so it took me a little time to get used with
@@paketa12 yeah that works. second question: I am using pixels to store Vive Tracker positions. Using the alpha channel to turn them on and off works.
problem is that the values range from -2.5 to 2.5 roughly. When using the chroma key to limit the distance to draw a line, It doesn't fully hit the connecting sphere. Is there an alternative that doesn't normalize from 0-1?
@@mxjsptlk limit top!? ...or just divide by 2.5!?
Where can i find the inLine component presented in minute 11?
is in the file attached. You can also use pointRepack in the palette for this
@@paketa12 Thank you!
Great, all that and then there is no InLine Component in TD so this tutorial is impossible.
if you actually watched tutorials instead of mindlessly grazing it you’d know that it’s in the description. put some respect on this guy’s name
