Something I like about Beejie’s videos is that she doesn’t place an absurd amount of infected everywhere and does her best to keep it realistic, which is one of the reasons why this’ll always be on the best SFMs about this game
In my opinion, it is all about striking the right balance. While it is true that the game thrives on intense zombie encounters, overloading an SFM (Source Film Maker) with infected can sometimes detract from the quality of the animation.
One thing I also see about a lot of L4D2 SFMs is that they seem to like including a lot of fantastical or out of place guns and weapons that the survivors use
6:40 good attention to detail! she fires 3 shots on screen, then you hear the 4th and 5th in the background, and finally you see the 6th, 7th, and 8th shots from rochelle as she stands behind ellis. and instead of her shooting more like in every other sfm and movie made, she runs out of ammo and needs to reload! things like that go so unappreciated in sfm work!
The relation between the survivors are so well done and it's represented in the game just through dialogues, there's no cutscene or CGI, man I wish we see a L4D3 soon

You actually can't tell how many regular infected get killed. Coach and Ellis are offscreen during the beginning of the Boomer encounter, the camera is focused on Ellis when they're being charged by a horde in the room full of fire... Rochelle definitely killed more than 4 because she had killed 4 before she's shown shooting things that are offscreen.

I wish Beejie continued making these but if she doesn't really enjoy making these and doesn't have much time I understand but I remember thinking to myself "wow this is amazing work, I can't wait for the rest of the campaigns like the parish, swamp fever, and more"
As much as I love these animations, Beejie has a horrible work ethic : - As someone who went through extreme mental and psychological treatment, I find that excuse borderline insulting. Most people are still forced to keep working through them like I was. - She used to pump these out far more consistently. The last part has taken over two years, if I remember correctly. I think she just doesn’t care. Not about the viewers, not about the series, not about the obligation to complete it for the sake of finishing it. She already said she doesn’t owe us anything - which is a blatant and manipulative lie since she has ads on all her videos and has had them for years - and refuses to hand the series to another animator (LoneWolfHBS is an animator of much higher moral standards and a fantastic SFM series, I highly recommend subscribing), if only until her _supposed_ “mental issues” have been sorted out. If she doesn’t want to finish it, I don’t mind - but leading on everyone who watches and has waited patiently and supportively over the last two to five years for this series to conclude is manipulative and selfish. I’m all for supporting content creators, but just using blind loyalists to violently harass anyone who points out the logical fallacy of your obvious excuses (there’s a several-hundred comment chain all harassing one person on one of her videos, including comments from Beejie Cunt and her Texan BrainCell Massacre) is inexcusable, even by my own (lack of) standards. Type angry comments all you want, but don’t expect this series to end. She doesn’t care about us at all. The ad money, the views, the subscribers - we’re just a means to an end.

"Technically you're not supposed to use an elevator during a fire but that might not apply during a zombie apocalypse." I think that means it applies even more because there's no fire department or paramedics to save you if the cable snaps or you become trapped. They're fine because of plot armour but if there was a zombie apocalypse I'd avoid all elevators just in case. Lol

Sure there might be less zombies to initially fight but you'd certainly feel silly if you were stuck in there to roast alive or starve to death. As a Fire Alarm technician, Elevators will not work in a fire or if any of the floors detect smoke, the elevator will override and recall to the bottom floor mainly for firefighters so they can get to the upper floors quickly.

it's amazing how much different dialogue you hear when you play as each character- feels like a new experience every time, and when you put it all together like in these sfm films, it just feels like a super fleshed out story. I'm sad we didn't get a real sequel with both groups together or, honestly, just more from l4d2's group (cuz they're my favorite), and instead got back 4 blood which im not a fan of at all. I love coming back to rewatch these kinds of films, and im glad so much effort was put into them

I think that means it applies even more because there's no fire department or paramedics to save you if the cable snaps or you become trapped. They're fine because of plot armour but if there was a zombie apocalypse I'd avoid all elevators just in case. Lol

Sure there might be less zombies to initially fight but you'd certainly feel silly if you were stuck in there to roast alive or starve to death. Not to mention do you really want to arrive on another floor that might be full of zombies in a metal box that cheerfully and noisily pings when you arrive as opposed to a stairwell door which you can silently peek out of.
As a Fire Alarm technician, Elevators will not work in a fire or if any of the floors detect smoke, the elevator will override and recall to the bottom floor mainly for firefighters so they can get to the upper floors quickly.

it's amazing how much different dialogue you hear when you play as each character- feels like a new experience every time, and when you put it all together like in these sfm films, it just feels like a super fleshed out story. I'm sad we didn't get a real sequel with both groups together or, honestly, just more from l4d2's group (cuz they're my favorite), and instead got back 4 blood which im not a fan of at all. I love coming back to rewatch these kinds of films, and im glad so much effort was put into them

Honestly, I like the choppiness of the animation. Reminds you that this is an SFM animation, and that it had to have been hard and time consuming to make these.
