@@trollfack2966 crashing through the window and driving a car through CONCRETE WALLS is an awful idea. analyzing how they always basically end up in the same area (besides spy sniping), they should've all backed each other up at the door.
Oh yeah, Spy was the only one who knew how to drive so it would make more sense if he took Soldiers place, and seriously? A pyro underwater? I'm sure Scout knows how to swim and even then, even though Spy will not like his clothes wet he'll be best for stealth. Spy doesn't have the strength to actually kick a door down, but Pyro and Soldier can! And for Scout, I mean like Soldier has more expertise in air movement so...
This entire series is almost perfectly in-character with the actual canon and lore. Even Scout’s batshit insane power fantasy of a plan sounds like something he would actually come up with. Also, it’s really impressive how the Winglet managed to put together several voice lines that were made 14 years ago to make a coherent, in-character masterpiece, with character arcs, plotholes, and an actual story. TL;DR: the series is almost perfectly in character, scout’s plan sound like something he would do, and story is also good.

I honestly really like the brutality of the mercs in the original release (and the fact that Soldier cocks the Demo's arm), but if this ensures more people see it - so be it.
_"You fight like a fat man."_ said before cutting to the fat man fighting. Absolutely love this video, the effort that went into it looks absolutely amazing!! Can't wait for the next part because things are already looking incredible :D
16:31 I just realized these BLU mercs are all from "The Art of Spychecking". It's those little easter eggs/connections that really make me enjoy rewatching these SFMs(outside of the Stellar animation of course).
This man can blend comedy with seriousness and action so well it's on valves own level. It's been what 7 or 8 years since live and let spy and these animations are still masterpieces with great references etc. etc. Well done
The parts with Soldier definitely highlight this the most, especially at 20:29 and 23:00 how it goes from a comedic scene to him rebooting robots to robot hell
I love the gruesome deaths, like between the medic getting torn apart by robots last time and now demo's corpse getting eaten by coyotes Also, the creativity with the premade voicelines is insane And I saw something came out within the past week... bro 👀 I am SO hype for this
23:08 The Soldier using both the Equalizer and Escape Plan was a pretty nice touch. It gave Soldier a speed boost and damage bonus. (Not to mention that the Equalizer and Escape Plan was just one weapon before Valve split it in two.)
I put off watching this until now, and I've got to say this is unironically a cinematic masterpiece, combining engaging action, genuinely-funny humour and amazing animation!
One of the best things about recently returning to TF2 for me has definitely been seeing people like you or McVee, who made my childhood way back then, having fully come into their own and contributing to some of the most incredible, genuine, and inspiringly well-crafted art I have seen, ever. I must've been like 11 when I watched Live and Let Spy, Burning Through Space and End of The Line, and especially after seeing how far you've come through this film I appreciate them all so much more now. Also 12:19 that I don't know how many people got that but holy fuck that is an insane shot/scene to reference and I was crying laughing in my chair when I saw it, I am all for this shit.
20:21 don't mind me just keeping this timestamp here so that i can keep looking back at this gorgeous just absolutely god tier animation of spy reeling back to shoot behind him. like the way his arm swings around so that his body can follow that momentum of his arm swing. and the way he reloads is insane and like ugh i just cant get over how smooth and lively it looks
i pretty much love this video, this scene is just amazing 9:59 it's like all the survival heroes that are not in the best state they are going for a mision. just a wonderful and beatiful animated video
I seriously can't wait for the next installment to this series! Winglet, your commitment SFM is unbelievable. I watched Lazy's video on SFM and I am in awe that you continue to create masterpieces every time with the janky program.
Bro, I've been following this series since I was 14 years old when "The Bolted Behemoth" first released in 2014. It never ceases to take my breath away. You're singlehandedly keeping the TF2 community alive and your storytelling and combat animations are to die for. I really cant wait til the last part, maybe with voice acting this time if the last 3 lines of dialogue were a hint to something? :0
I recently began learning sfm, and I have never learned any kind of animation or editing software, so i am even MORE impressed with how insanly high quality these videos are. I cant belive you MAKE them. God I hope you are working on the next part. The story is really cool too.
As much as I liked Live and Let Spy's inclusion of the entire team I love how well Scout, Spy, and Soldier (rip pyro and demo) work off of each other in this one
Don’t forget demo, as much as pyro is one of my favourite characters/classes, you gotta remember demo, he sacrificed his life for the team, where pyro… he just drowned in scouts plan
It's absolutely ridiculous that Winglet is creating such insanely good TF2 content in 2022. Valve has let the game die to bots and hackers and just general neglect, but Winglet's SFMs are not only absurdly high quality but they're genuinely entertaining and enjoyable on top of that. God I can't wait for more.
I can't wait for the next part, and amazing animation. I hope to reach this level of quality someday, but now I need to get back to my studies. Have a great day Winglet.
It's definitely a travesty that RUclips keeps censoring masterpieces like this. In the first 10 mins alone, I've noticed that Demo's severed arm becomes a sticky launcher, the Scout torture scene is removed completely, and Sniper's head no longer explodes. I always figured that the problem with excessive violence was that it could be repeated, but 99% of this is so over-the-top and ridiculous that you couldn't recreate it if you tried.
It's honestly sad that they've forced you to do this so others can watch it without problems. You did an amazing job editing it for this. One of the things that's always attracted me to your Fedora Chronicles has been how hilariously brutal the violence is. Not because it's violent itself, but because it's so over the top yet well executed. I hope the restrictions won't hurt your ability to keep making these as amazing as they've been.
@@LautyHobo Version 2.0 (which omitted the torture scene but that was the only change) is age restricted due to the ridiculously over the top violence. You can watch it if you have an account with no parental restrictions, but people who have one with restrictions or have no account can't watch it.
@@TheHiddenDirector There's more changes: -At the start of the animation BLU's base is full of dead robots and only has a couple of dead bodies, the original one showed more blood at the BLU's base along with some more dead bodies -The Snipers head is completely destroyed in the original version, in the friendly version he only gets a couple of bullet holes and his body quickly disappears from the scene.
Changes I noticed in this edit compared to the directors cut (that I noticed, I might be missing some, idk): 2:24 Instead of the blu soldier getting beheaded, he instead just drops his gun 3:52 The blu spy doesn't get beheaded (also seen when the blu heavy holds his corpse), and his body doesn't move as much after being hit 6:42 Perhaps most noticeably, the red demoman's severed arm has been replaced with his stickybomb launcher, as such the gag of the red soldier using the hand as a finger gun is removed 7:08 The interrogation of the blu scout by the red soldier is cut down, and any acts of violence (punches, pouring gasoline on scout, and the gunshot being visible) are removed 8:21 The blu sniper is still shot, but his head no longer explodes Overall, things like beheading or heads exploding have been removed, as well as some scenes where violence/gore is focused on. There may be some minor changes, such as less blood, but I didn't really feel like comparing every single time a person bleeds. Feel free to add more if you noticed some I missed. Its a shame that an edit even needs to be made, and it's very irritating that RUclips has basically blocked the other two versions, but at least we can finally watch and enjoy this masterpiece without having to rely on reuploads. Wish RUclips would let people watch the other videos too though :/ Regardless, can't wait to see what else The Winglet creates, whether it's part of this storyline or not, definitely one of my favourite TF2 SFM animators!
20:26 that scout was probably one of the saddest deaths, he thought he was with them and then soldier just shot him to death and nobody cares when he did 😢
no, but there are some prequels this series consists of 4 animations, it's called the fedora chronicles and there are 2 spin offs called burning trough space 1 and 2
This is awesome! Also, I love the “The Shining” reference with pyro using the axe and spy even doing the same movements as the girl and pyro even muffling “Here’s Johnny!”
I can't believe I only watched this now, but this is a true masterpiece. Everything is absolutely perfect - I can't believe Winglet isn't part of the official Valve team with all of this.
This was seriously awesome. Ppl sing praises to your animation, choreography, the use of voicelines. The writing is also spectacular. But one of the highlights for me was the car chase. I mean, you always were good at those. An Australian Christmas Bloody Miracle comes to mind... man, how long as it been? You've come far, and you keep doing an amazing job!
21:07 man the moment i saw that seen where scout is reading the book of how to read just killled me. me being overwatch and team fortress fan i love ur animation a lot. keep it up man ur talents will soon be praised
It’s crazy to see how much your work has evolved over the years. Love seeing these sfm videos, and it makes me wish that Valve continued making TF2 films like Expiration Date
God the animation is so spot on that if we actually got that tv show after expiration date this is exactly what it would be like also the little details of humor just add so much life to the characters like when pyro gets hit in the head by a rock he just makes a small sqweek it’s just so apparent on how well he knows to animate
Fun fact: did you notice that the other blue team at the end is the same team from The Art of Spy-Checking video from Winglet. I love the crossover and I am ready on how well this two team will absolutely do in the next series!!!
The animation is absolutely incredible. I can't even imagine the amount of work that went into this. The pacing is perfect and the humor is carefully timed. A job more than well done.
Hoping for the arrival of the sequel! Can't wait to see Engi's space adventure team meet with Spy's and fight against whole hordes of robots. After all, Engi and his friends did face off an alien invasion. I love your vids! Keep going man!

I honestly really like the brutality of the mercs in the original release (and the fact that Soldier cocks the Demo's arm), but if this ensures more people see it - so be it.
@@garr_inc plus there is the Director's Cut version which is effectively the original, so it's not all that bad.

This man can blend comedy with seriousness and action so well it's on valves own level. It's been what 7 or 8 years since live and let spy and these animations are still masterpieces with great references etc. etc. Well done
Love and Let Pie!
The parts with Soldier definitely highlight this the most, especially at 20:29 and 23:00 how it goes from a comedic scene to him rebooting robots to robot hell

I'm at a loss for words. This is like Valve quality animation. Maybe even better. This is great. 10/10.
I like how in the begin ing he acts like anyone that isn’t Sniper, Medic (maybe), Spy, and Engineer would know how to drive.
23:08 The Soldier using both the Equalizer and Escape Plan was a pretty nice touch. It gave Soldier a speed boost and damage bonus. (Not to mention that the Equalizer and Escape Plan was just one weapon before Valve split it in two.)
also a nice touch because its literally a pickaxe in a mineshaft, like there's a logical explanation for it being there
plus the equalizer is great at low hp
I love how B.Heavy's first instinct is to shield B.Medic and B.Engie. Really shows that none of these characters are one-dimensional.

Has it already been a year?! That’s crazy! Still the coolest series on RUclips!
THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING IT'S SO MAJESTIC AND GRACEFUL
i pretty much love this video, this scene is just amazing 9:59 it's like all the survival heroes that are not in the best state they are going for a mision. just a wonderful and beatiful animated video
I seriously can't wait for the next installment to this series!
Winglet, your commitment SFM is unbelievable. I watched Lazy's video on SFM and I am in awe that you continue to create masterpieces every time with the janky program.
The fact Blu Heavy just said "uh oh" before dying a horrible death is amazing.
yea

It's absolutely ridiculous that Winglet is creating such insanely good TF2 content in 2022. Valve has let the game die to bots and hackers and just general neglect, but Winglet's SFMs are not only absurdly high quality but they're genuinely entertaining and enjoyable on top of that.
Feels like an alternate reality where valve was actually able to cooperate with adult swim in making that Team Fortress original series. Great work!
Love how he's merging two of his greatest TF2 teams. Can't wait to see this crossover
What crossover
@@Jsiehdudthe fedora chronicles team and the burning through space team
I like the fact that every time spy reloads he change the whole chamber instead of loading them one by one that is quite charming.....
What happened to the last version exactly? I see a lot of people talking about it but i have no clue
@@LautyHobo Version 2.0 (which omitted the torture scene but that was the only change) is age restricted due to the ridiculously over the top violence. You can watch it if you have an account with no parental restrictions, but people who have one with restrictions or have no account can't watch it.
@@TheHiddenDirector The torture scene was actually comedy gold in my opinion. I'm glad I got to watch the original before it got age restricted.
@@TheHiddenDirector There's more changes:
-At the start of the animation BLU's base is full of dead robots and only has a couple of dead bodies, the original one showed more blood at the BLU's base along with some more dead bodies
-The Snipers head is completely destroyed in the original version, in the friendly version he only gets a couple of bullet holes and his body quickly disappears from the scene.

Bro out of all SFM animators out there on RUclips, you certainly are my favourite!
Changes I noticed in this edit compared to the directors cut (that I noticed, I might be missing some, idk):
2:24 Instead of the blu soldier getting beheaded, he instead just drops his gun
3:52 The blu spy doesn't get beheaded (also seen when the blu heavy holds his corpse), and his body doesn't move as much after being hit
6:42 Perhaps most noticeably, the red demoman's severed arm has been replaced with his stickybomb launcher, as such the gag of the red soldier using the hand as a finger gun is removed
7:08 The interrogation of the blu scout by the red soldier is cut down, and any acts of violence (punches, pouring gasoline on scout, and the gunshot being visible) are removed
8:21 The blu sniper is still shot, but his head no longer explodes
Overall, things like beheading or heads exploding have been removed, as well as some scenes where violence/gore is focused on.
Wish RUclips would let people watch the other videos too though :/
Regardless, can't wait to see what else The Winglet creates, whether it's part of this storyline or not, definitely one of my favourite TF2 SFM animators!
0:13 Wasn’t this originally a Heavy loaded with arrows? Now it’s a sparking Soldier robot.
he took 8 stickies to the face, no way he survives that.
The scout is also upside-down rather than tied to a chair
20:30 soldier shoot the scout til his hand fucked up in the uncensored version. Now it just show some blood in his shirt
Oohhh. God, why is youtube so strict with its guidelines now
The soundtrack and everything is beautiful. I can't wait for the sequel to come out.
2:35 I love how the blue heavy just calmly says “uh-oh” then gets blown to bits
20:26 that scout was probably one of the saddest deaths, he thought he was with them and then soldier just shot him to death and nobody cares when he did 😢
This is the best SFM I have ever seen. Is there a sequel to this? I want more.
I don't think so, but have you seen live and let spy? It's the prequel to this.
