This will be a big help for them in a very stressful time in their lives and our prayers are with them .I would love to tell them it gets less painful for them but really it doesn't. I am crying as i write this because it will always hurt. However just be thankful for the time you had with that little angel and try to remember only the good times not the soul draining time of complete terror and helplessness at the hospital and treatments. You were blessed even if it was cut short.
Shout out to Henry. I've not owned my own firearm but I'm moving to a more sparse area soon and am looking forward to buying my first gun which will probably be a Henry.
Also give the 22 WMR a try, it has 2.5 times the muzzle velocity at 100 yds than the 22LR has at the muzzle. It is still fairly quiet and has very little recoil. I have taken deer with the WMR in Maine where it is legal to do so. There are also a lot of awesome handguns chambered in WMR such as the Kel Tec PMR30. Ammo isn't much more expensive than 22 LR, and they have a lot more ammo types such as TMJ, FMJ, JHP, JSP ammo. It is my all around fav cartridge and i have been hunting everything from squirrels to white tail deer, and never lost a single one, or had to track them. It is a highly underestimated round. Like I always tell everyone SHOT PLACEMENT IS EVERYTHING. When hunting deer I always use a heavier bullet such as the Federal 50 gr JHP. Within 50 yds it is devastating on whitetail deer. It is also a very flat shooting, accurate cartridge, so headshots are viable within 30 yds. I aim about an inch to the right of the eye closest to the brain cavity. Broadside shots are viable within 50 yds and I have never seen them go any more than a few yds after being shot. But you HAVE to get a well placed shot in the lung and heart area. The Henry chambered in 22 WMR is a classic! One of my all time favorites. Many blessings to you and yours, Sawyer from western NC.
22 Plinkster and Henry Rifles you are wonderful and amazing. From a father that has a daughter with heart complications that thankfully has been 90% corrected my heart felt wishes go to the family and you all. So very well done. We lost our infant son in an automobile accident that wasn’t our fault. We certainly understand their sense of loss and pain. Cancer is the most mest up thing ever I've recently lost my aunt to breast cancer and my grandmother beat breast cancer 3 times and still it's to thrive. It was tough to watch my grandmother watch her own daughter go. We shall support cancer care and defeat cancer.
I just lost my son on Jan 2nd this year. He was 25, I’m 46... nothing hurts more I can promise you that. I’m a huge Henry fan for their quality and performance but because of this type of thing most of all. I’m a grown man and as I type this I can barely see the keyboard because of the tears.
it's a shame that a community that is overall so polite, sharing, and caring has been so vilified and blamed for today's social iLLs. If half the new 2020 guy owners adopt our civility and realize it would be a more peaceful and polite society in general if everyone were so inclined.
Until I got my guns I felt the same way about the gun guys being responsible for our high rate of incivility and violence. Now I know better. Most guns are owned by good people.
I can’t imagine loosing one of my kids, it’s heartbreaking why this family is going through, but it’s also amazing the respond of a great company and great people that bought all the rifles in a very short time ❤️
My daughter is a brain tumor survivor. She is one of the few to survive 3 different tumors.Prayers for Shaw family. Thank you for getting this started and helping family.
My mom was just diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer. And of course since we're Canadian everyone thinks that all her treatments are covered by our health care system, unfortunately that's not true. There's a common misconception that EVERYTHING is covered in Canada.
Having lost my daughter to leukemia it is very easy to relate, heartwrenching for the parents and their extended family but at least the suffering of Ethen is over. He's with my daughter now, in a much better place.
Heaven just got another angel and another part of my heart. To the parents I can say this. Be strong, have Faith and remember that Life is Gods way of granting us a vacation from paradise so we can grow and return to him. Take care for each other, until our turn arrives to rejoin our dear father in heaven. Remember, that GOD loves us all and it is your faith that will help us through each day one day at a time.
Thank you for each vlog and for sharing. You and Henry(Mr. Imperato) are top notch in my book. Praises be unto you and Mr. Imperato for your participation in trying your best to help others in need.
Awesome, awesome, awesome. What a great use of your platform, and I have been a fan of Henry Repeating Arms for years. My 14 year old daughter is a three time brain cancer survivor. We are blessed to still have her, even though she was devastated by it. I cannot imagine what this family has been through, but I know there can't be many things worse in the world.
It goes to pay for the illegals. In parts of the U.S. it's so bad they've had to shut down hospitals because they can't afford to stay open. Right now they are flying not just illegals, but Mexicans from Mexico to the U.S. as covid patients. Guess who pays for that?
❤️ - I was in a similar position with my daughter and “Motorcycle Gangs” did something much the same for her. The image “promoted” by the media and some authorities, for certain sections of our society couldn’t be further from the real truth. My heart goes out to your friends.
Thanks for having the attitude that you do. Ive gone through some hard times (leukemia and a marrow transplant) and I was thankful for the people who came forward when I needed it, its no surprise to me that we have a strong, caring community of just plain, good folks. I only wish that I had seen this when the guns were available. Blessings to you and their family, and yours.
Thank you for reminding people that the heart is a mighty weapon, too, and we can make a lot of difference with our hearts. Bless the child who inspired this story.

Condolences to that young family. It breaks my heart when the young pass from such a horrible disease. May God hold them and Keep them in his loving arms forever.
Heartbreaking, I look at my 2 Son's and it really makes you thankful for just healthy babies...everything else is secondary and I know it's easy to take for granted, I do at times, but having a reasonably healthy child is a blessing. It's good to see the support for the family in this time, I couldn't imagine being in their shoes

Thanks 22 Plinkster, Henry Repeating Arms, and all the folks who bought firearms or helped in other ways. Y'all are a class act. You will be a sweet memory to the little guy's family.
We pray for the Shaw family and for healing during this time of loss and remembrance of young Ethan. Thank you to Mr. Henry and all of those that were able to help. My 17 year old cousin Josh passed two weeks ago today from a cancerous brain tumor. He was first diagnosed and treated when he was Ethan's age. We went to see Josh at St. Jude's all those years ago. Sadly the cancer came back almost 15 years later. He fought hard til the end. I'm glad the Shaw's have a friend like you 22. My sweet aunt and uncle are going through what the Shaws are at this time. The gun community is an awesome family to be a part of. Especially during these times in our country and our world.
I worked with Children who had cancer as a nurse undergoing Radiation treatment. I know all too well the emotional toll it takes on the family and those are them, even the health care workers who treat them. It is so very difficult to watch a child battle for their lives. We can't say thank you enough to Henry for being a leader in this situation going above and beyond to help, and to thank all those who purchased rifles. The gun community shows once again it is a caring community.
I lost my child and first love of my life at the same time and these types of stories always hit close to home. The gun community is always there for people like this and Henry has always been a wonderful company...

Sorry for your loss sir. Stay strong 🙏
I'm sorry for your loss. I will keep your family in my prayers.
Stay strong sorry for your loss remember the good times you had
Sorry FOR YOUR loss OF SUCH A LITTLE one.
My prayers are with the Shaw family. Praise to Henry for supporting this effort. Quality organization proven again, and not just with their products.
Thank you Sir! For helping others in a time of need!
thank you for what you did, Awesome people over at Henry
Gun people are great people.
I think that Henry on my "wish list" just got bumped up a few places.
Coming from a couple that also lost a young child God Bless you for doing this!
On a more serious note why are there some people that hit the dislike button on this heart felt story. I say shame on you. There is nothing more meaningful than helping a sick child and family. God bless and all the best. Pete from Australia
We lost our infant son in an automobile accident that wasn’t our fault. We certainly understand their sense of loss and pain. All that I can say is that God is too Holy and Right to do wrong by us regardless of whether we understand or not and it will get better with time. The wound will heal and the Son will shine again.
I am So Very Sorry for your alls Loss, i couldnt even imagine! Nor do i want to. Seeing this made me go hug my kids tight. God bless your family. Once again i am So So Sorry!
🙏
Roman's 8:28, God bless you!
there is no god, and if there was its so depressing to think that people are so blind to still worship it after it kills a family member
Jack Cowsill The fool hath said in his heart There is no God.
I got serial number 11 and am so glad to help a family in need that is hurting and whatever we can do as a community we need to do!!! May God watch over the Shaw family!!! Thank you 22 Plinkster for doing this for them you have a good heart!!!!
Even with my 3 daughters in their 30s I can't imagine their pain, my prayers for the family and guess I know what my next. 22 will be
I just paused the video to pray for this family. Children are such a blessing and it pains us to learn that this precious little one was taken by this disease. May our gracious Saviour comfort them in their grief and I was encouraged by your good heart to help them. In dark times the light shines even brighter.
I can promise that if I buy a lever gun some day, I’ll be buying a Henry. I know it won’t help Ethan and his family but it’ll be my way of showing Henry that we care that they care and to continue helping out the community in whatever ways they can.
.22plinkster You are the Man! Without you this would have never happened! Condolences to the Shaw Family and may God Bless the Shaw Family and .22plinkster, his family and crew! And may God Bless all of you who helped make this happen.
Little Man up there with God in heaven now....fly swiftly little angel
Very well said sir. God Bless you.
REBEL 79 why do you fly a flag of a losing side
@@GiDD504 why does it matter to you in the first place...I have my reasons why
REBEL 79 it’s just weird to fly a losers flag. I don’t fly the flag of Germany or japan...
@@GiDD504 not just a loser but a traitor's flag.
A huge Thanks to 22plinkster and Henry for making this happen! What a blessing for the Shaw family! Henry Repeating Arms, what an awesome and great American company!
He’s in the arms of Jesus now... God bless his family, as well as you & yours.
most definitely in the arms of Jesus..when i lost my God fearing sister, what helped me make it thru, was the fact that even tho her body was in the ground, her soul went to heaven..no better reassuring thought than that!!
I bought a Henry 30-30 for the very reason mentioned here. My favorite rifle so far. Thank you Anthony for your generosity.
Just lost my dad on Monday and my heart goes out to this family. May God bless you and carry you through this
Stay strong brother. It is a great thing you did to help the family
What a great friend you are.
I'm moved by your sympathy & compassion for your friends.
I can’t imagine loosing one of my kids, it’s heartbreaking why this family is going through, but it’s also amazing the respond of a great company and great people that bought all the rifles in a very short time ❤️
Henry is a class act he helped a friend of mine. God bless Mr. Anthony!
Rest In Peace Ethan.
There's a common misconception that EVERYTHING is covered in Canada.
if im not wrong its a long wait for doctors is it?
Good luck for you and your mom, I hope she wins this battle, God Bless you and your mother
Having lost my daughter to leukemia it is very easy to relate, heartwrenching for the parents and their extended family but at least the suffering of Ethen is over. He's with my daughter now, in a much better place.
gun community is truly the best in the world, that's why "people" and governments do us bad all the time, expecting no retaliations from us!
Plinkster, you have a heart of gold. God Bless Ethan Shaw and his family.
Amen!
Thank you for each vlog and for sharing. You and Henry(Mr. Imperato) are top notch in my book. Praises be unto you and Mr. Imperato for your participation in trying your best to help others in need.
GOD BE WITH YOU ETHAN, HIS PARENTS, AND HENRY RIFLES.
Thanks for being positive everyone. Have a good day!
How are there 2 down votes on this video?
probably down votes for the sadness.
Because evil people do exist and can't help themselves. Dont worry though, there's a special place in Hell for them
matt berry I hope that’s their logic and nothing more 😢
Anti gun trolls
Non-descriptive clickbaity video title, perhaps?
Awesome, awesome, awesome. What a great use of your platform, and I have been a fan of Henry Repeating Arms for years. My 14 year old daughter is a three time brain cancer survivor. We are blessed to still have her, even though she was devastated by it. I cannot imagine what this family has been through, but I know there can't be many things worse in the world.
It’s so messed up that healthcare is so expensive in the US
It goes to pay for the illegals.
And people are making first comments on a serious video. Stay classy, youtube.
Please send all my love to the family. So sad. But so glad ppl stepped up. All our love from Scotland
That's very sad.
But I thought Henry was shut down with the covid garbage.
I ordered a smooth bore.22 and I never got it because of that.
they probly just took some of the off the shelf stock that was in the factory from before the shutdown
Really this amazing story and you’re worried about your 22. I guess some people truly think the world revolves around them
Mr. Imperato is a class act and always has been, Henry is my favorite firearm manufacturer for reasons like this. Prayers up for the Shaw family.
Thank you for reminding people that the heart is a mighty weapon, too, and we can make a lot of difference with our hearts. Bless the child who inspired this story.
God bless you, God bless Henry, and God bless that sweet family. I have a one year old son, I could not begin to imagine the pain... take care.
I lost my first born son to a heart issue 15 years ago and it's beyond devastating. God bless Henry and everyone that came together to help this family out during this time. I guarantee you that they will be forever grateful for this act of love and kindness.
You touched my heart before seeing one of your videos other than this one. I pray that the family understands how much we feel about the loss of that beautiful boy. May god bless you. Our prayers are with you.
You're a good man Dave, thanks for organising this and helping this family in awful circumstances.
Thanks for working outside the box to come up with a plan to help this family. Obviously, nobody should have to endure what they went through. Using your media status to help this family was nothing short of pure love and kindness. Prayers to the family and thanks Plinkster for developing a plan to let us help just a little. We the firearm community are a big family and we support each other when our backs are to the wall. We always have and we always will...... Again, our deepest condolences to the family.
This warms my heart...great job Henry Arms and everyone who supported this project!!! We need more people like you in this world...keep up the great work!
I rarely cry, but anytime I hear of someone losing a child I tear up. Prayers for strength for his family.
That's awesome. Hearing things like this is what people need to hear so they know that there is still good people in this world. It was sad to hear abt the little boy I wish his family the best. May God bless you the family and Henry.
Thank you for doing this. You are a great guy and they are a great family. God bless the little girl.
I lost my child and first love of my life at the same time and these types of stories always hit close to home. The gun community is always there for people like this and Henry has always been a wonderful company...
Got me wiping tears . Prayers for the family 🙏 and a huge thanks to Henry arms God bless you guys.
As sad as this is it warms my heart knowing this community comes through for all of its kind. Prayers for the fam!
