Okay, here's my argument: After the gym, you're all sweaty, you take a shower. After swimming, covered in chlorine, you take a shower. After a nice event, hairspray in your hair, cologne/perfume, makeup, shower. So much more than water and soap get washed down the drain. I don't see why pee is such a big deal.

Okay, here's my argument:
After the gym, you're all sweaty, you take a shower.
After swimming, covered in chlorine, you take a shower.
After a nice event, hairspray in your hair, cologne/perfume, makeup, shower.
So much more than water and soap get washed down the drain. I don't see why pee is such a big deal.
Its kind of a placebo. Pee is a negative connotation. The shower is a place for you to clean and be fresh and non-dirty. why would u pee = that's what a toilet was made for seems to trick the mind into thinking it's a nono to pee in a shower. But if you think about it, every time you pee, you are not showering right after and every single pipe goes through a cleaning cycle. All that nasty and icky stuff that goes down the toilet is just separated and goes through a massive multi process cleaning cycle. It really doesn't matter, because once you step outside your house and touch an object, theirs already bacteria.

not true. If you're sitting in a pool or bath, your period isn't as "flowy" because the pressure from the water is slightly slowing it down. The water from the shower head has no impact on your period at all though. Or at least it doesn't stop it

My question is why is peeing in the shower down the drain any worse than when we bleed in the shower?
