Nice one! This video, with all the lap time information and telemetry displayed, combined with the second camera in the top right corner, makes it look very professional. I really like the format and appreciate the effort you’ve put into creating it.
I wanted to share some constructive feedback. The fundamentals of your driving are solid, but there’s room for improvement. I noticed that you seem a bit cautious when driving around other cars, likely to avoid collisions. While that’s understandable, being overly careful can lead to mistakes, nervousness, and lost positions. It’s about finding the balance-not being too aggressive or arrogant, but also not too hesitant.
For example, at 2:55 in the video, there was a situation where you braked early to avoid a crash. However, this allowed the car behind you to take the apex recklessly, putting you in a risky spot. In such cases, I’d recommend being a bit more assertive. You could have closed the door on them instead of leaving the opportunity open. In iRacing, many drivers tend to "send it" rather than back off, depending on their iRating.
One technique that helped me in similar situations is coasting instead of braking early when following closely behind another car-within about 4 feet, for instance. Letting off the gas before the corner instead of braking too soon helps maintain speed without compromising control. Late braking is also crucial here; it might take time to master, but it’s worth it for faster lap times.
As I watched you drive, it reminded me of when I started sim racing. You’re clearly focused on safe driving, which is good, but taking calculated risks and braking later will help you improve your pace. Developing confidence in your braking points and learning to predict other drivers' actions will make you both a better and faster driver.
Keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing how you progress!

Thank you for the advice. I was definitely being cautious in this one. I’m still in the lower splits and there are a lot of reckless drivers. I appreciate the tips and thank you for taking the time to view and to share your thoughts.
