This worries me. World War Hulk was a serious dark story where a revenge fuelled bitter Hulk returns to Earth to make all his former friends and sometimes foes, pay dearly for what they did to him, and make them pay he did! They already took a touch upon Planet Hulk in Thor Ragnarok. World War Hulk is not the kind of story where the jokes fly every 20 to 30 seconds, its a story of pain, loss and regret and vengeance... the MCU in its current state shouldn't touch it.

They were not faithful to his design from the comics at all. Honestly, I mostly just hate Disney now. They bought Marvel in 2009, and ever since, Marvel movies haven't been as serious. A movie like The Incredible Hulk (2008) would never happen under Disney ownership, and I resent them for it. There are some things in the MCU that are quite characteristic of Disney that I don't like, such as a story that's supposed to be serious being packed full of jokes. And that's not even going into the tragedy of what Disney did to Star Wars. Disney needs to crumble to dust.

Extremely disappointed in how they’re handling hulk and abomination. The whole point of Abomination’s character is that he never got over what happened to him as Abomination. In the comics he’s a tragic character that blames everything bad in his life on hulk and banner. He’s full of hate and vitriol. He gets so far into hate that even General Ross disowns him because he murders Bruce’s wife Betty. I know it’s dark but they whole point of his character is for the audience to learn from a tragic character like Blonsky. Part of his bitterness is because he’s not supposed to change back into human form. He’s stuck as a miserable monster for his whole life because he was obsessed with power. That’s the trade off of his greediness. So no I’ve been waiting over 10 years to see how they’re going to do Hulk and Abomination and we couldn’t even get a rematch. A World War Hulk movie could be exactly what the MCU needs if done right. I can imagine the first act being a quipy typical adventure with Prof Hulk, until the reveal that drives his rage to revert him back to the Incredible Hulk and go down a dark, more serious path with the rest of the movie and even subsequent films. I think that Bruce used science to suppress the hulk persona and that when he gets back to sakaar he will be caught and locked up by a new ruler that heard of the hulk and now wants him for entertainment and puts him in a gladiator pit again with stronger opponents and Bruce ends up getting abit too angry and looses control letting the hulk side out but his inhibitor disk gives him a little boost in intelligence

This is how I'd script WORLD BREAKER HULK into the MCU Hulk is needed back on Sakaar as they are under threat from a powerful enemy and need his help, He has second thoughts about helping seeing as they pretty much enslaved Hulk and Thor to fight along with millions of others and now ask for his help.. Then it is revealed that while in his Hulk form for 2 years prior to Ragnorak he met someone and had a child that he didn't know about, after meeting his Child Skaar who is half Saakarian he is persuaded to Help them and defend the planet. There is a big battle and loads of lives are lost including Skaar's mother (Hulk's baby momma) and Skaar gets captured by the enemy where he is tortured and held prisoner. The Hulk is the only survivor of the battle and the whole of Sakaar is destroyed as well as his son missing and the mother of the child dead, this enrages the Hulk so much he breaks from the Professor Hulk persona and becomes WORLD BREAKER HULK but still retains the intelligence of Bruce. He then goes on an all out revenge mission to the homeworld of the Enemy where he single handily absolutely obliterates the whole planet like he does to Earth in the comics and rescues his son.
And if this continues for Hulk to go back to Earth, he destroy the enemy planet and a hero shows up who was going to help but was too late. Now here are a few options. Captain Marvel, the Guardians of the Galaxy/Thor, the ravengers group lead by Stevenson Stallone, Nick Fury/Skrulls, Or even Beta Ray Bill. They try and calm Hulk down but out of rage he still attacks, a fight breaks out and the hero retreats. They go to Earth and warn them of the rampaging Hulk who's on his way
While I'm sure people will complain about characterization, these two really do carry a nice familial vibe. Reminds me of Bucky and Steve in their early appearances.

A World War Hulk movie could be exactly what the MCU needs if done right. I can imagine the first act being a quipy typical adventure with Prof Hulk, until the reveal that drives his rage to revert him back to the Incredible Hulk and go down a dark, more serious path with the rest of the movie and even subsequent films. It would be a genre shift the MCU desperately needs right now
This is flawed. Because WWH is Bruce and Banner working together as one but both are really pissed off for being tricked and shot into space. WWH is like professor Hulk but at his angriest and strongest iteration.

I think that Bruce used science to suppress the hulk persona and that when he gets back to sakaar he will be caught and locked up by a new ruler that heard of the hulk and now wants him for entertainment and puts him in a gladiator pit again with stronger opponents and Bruce ends up getting abit too angry and looses control letting the hulk side out but his inhibitor disk gives him a little boost in intelligence

Normally I don't care for the MCU much anymore but tbh, that quote that Banner said describes me very well.
Reason that had to be said is because re-watching my favorite guilty pleasures of Marvel such as the cartoon Iron Man 94' and the movie Hulk 03' over and over made me a different Marvel fan apparently because sadly the "Comic Reader" in me died out a few years ago due to the "toxic elitism" that ruined comics for me and also because the only comics I'd ever trust are the ones in toy promotions such as MegaMorphs (2005) and Mangaverse lol.

MCU definitely reaches FTL speeds. Captain marvel can travel inter stellar distances to save Iron Man, Thor and Jane can travel Universe crossing distances, The Watcher is trillions ftl, and most would scale especially with the final fight in IW/Endgame

This is how I'd script WORLD BREAKER HULK into the MCU
Hulk is needed back on Sakaar as they are under threat from a powerful enemy and need his help, He has second thoughts about helping seeing as they pretty much enslaved Hulk and Thor to fight along with millions of others and now ask for his help.. Then it is revealed that while in his Hulk form for 2 years prior to Ragnorak he met someone and had a child that he didn't know about, after meeting his Child Skaar who is half Saakarian he is persuaded to Help them and defend the planet. There is a big battle and loads of lives are lost including Skaar's mother (Hulk's baby momma) and Skaar gets captured by the enemy where he is tortured and held prisoner. The Hulk is the only survivor of the battle and the whole of Sakaar is destroyed as well as his son missing and the mother of the child dead, this enrages the Hulk so much he breaks from the Professor Hulk persona and becomes WORLD BREAKER HULK but still retains the intelligence of Bruce. He then goes on an all out revenge mission to the homeworld of the Enemy where he single handily absolutely obliterates the whole planet like he does to Earth in the comics and rescues his son.

And if this continues for Hulk to go back to Earth, he destroy the enemy planet and a hero shows up who was going to help but was too late. Now here are a few options.
Captain Marvel, the Guardians of the Galaxy/Thor, the ravengers group lead by Stevenson Stallone, Nick Fury/Skrulls, Or even Beta Ray Bill. They try and calm Hulk down but out of rage he still attacks, a fight breaks out and the hero retreats. They go to Earth and warn them of the rampaging Hulk who's on his way
