The TV shows run the gamut from serious superhero drama to comedy, but just about all of them further the storyline at least somewhat even as they are funny. As for character development, I'm happy that Bruce after his life changed and he turned to the hulk, now has full control of his power and he no longer fear his otherside and be feared. For a man that tried to kill himself because he was afraid he could hurt others, to this, I'm really happy seeing him this way. Buuuttt as a fan of action sheet scenes I really hope we get to explore more of hulk, heck I wish we could see a even just a glimpse of World breaker hulk after all, hulk stayed for a years in skaar, it'd be a shame to not use that by revealing he has a son all along.
Right now Worldbreaker Hulk is way to overpowered to be a MCU character. His transformation only destroys things miles away, a few steps and he destroys a whole continent. Yeah, they can nerf him in MCU like they did with the most characters but he still would be really fuckin strong.
The thing though is that the savage Hulk was born from his anger towards his father and is his second personality amongst many others. But savage Hulk is what came out each time his father lashed out so that can't go away because I don't think you can nuke a personality completely

Captain Marvel and She-Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are better versions of Rey from the Sequel Trilogy of the Star Wars franchise because: They have personalities and proper character arcs and developments unlike Rey. They don’t have accents that come off as annoying unlike Rey. They don’t steal the spotlights from the other main characters and protagonists who are better written and have personalities and proper character arcs. None of the other main characters/protagonists are flanderized and killed off to prop them up. Despite being overpowered with very little training for their superpowers, they have their shortcomings. Therefore Captain Marvel and She-Hulk are improvements over Rey.

Got it. She is innately amazing, better than the man who has been a hulk for decades. Everyone loves her and she is amazing at all she tries. She may, in fact, be without flaw or challenge, other than to accept her own awesomeness. Surely, this makes for a compelling character story. At least based on this clip.

Does anyone else remember the first time they saw Infinity War. They showed us how powerful and scary Thanos was by having him beat the Hulk to a pulp. He had destroyed an entire ship, eliminated almost everyone on board, beaten Thor, Beaten Heimdal, and all the warriors of Asguard. But the way they SHOWED us that he was unstoppable was by having him go toe to toe, one on one with the Hulk for fun. Now.... well... obviously power levels have shifted. If they tried to do that scene after this series people would just laugh.

I quit watching comic book movies after iron man 2. It was feeling oversaturated to me back then, now it's just embarrassing how much these rice wafers disguised as movies are so damn popular.
For everyone complaining, Hulk clearly is holding back. She is strong and shows it but she is putting more effort. She is also not pissed off either, so even more power is being withheld. Hulk, well, he tossed that boulder like a basketball while she threw a boulder. He hit the ground with his fist using his arm strength in a controlled fashion, she used her weight and raised herself and most likely did a hard punch.
Most of us aren't analyzing her exact movement of tactical skills. It's the fact that they made her IMMEDIATELY be good at everything while being 1/8 of the size of him. She also looks like a Shrek character and is just corny overall. They could of did better with the premise of this show.

She is also smarter than other hulks (maybe not this bruce) and possibly joined in activities that required bending or sports. I understand how the look is bad but most of this can be explained logically. She is a smart hulk with another hulks help. If you weren’t concerned about HER you would clearly see she is trying (not trying hard), (not trying with the beast), and he isn’t trying hardly at all. Imagine if he for serious threw the rock but not with rage. She most likely would have to get rageful to do so. His volume of anger is much more powerful than hers, most likely. Honestly, some people are just good at things more than others naturally and who knows, the power of a hulk may chemically boost a females strength in order to match the strength of the male because what would be the point of a she hulk if she couldn’t? Venom and Carnage is the same strength no matter who it wants as a host.

Hulk hasn’t had his own movie since 08 Marvel taking over he’s hardly had any screen time except avenger movies and Thor Ragnkrok. Now they are going to make him weaker to his cousin who just became a hulk? Stop Marvel just stop.
It makes sense cause she hulk have certain amount of strength when she transform. She don't get stronger the mader she get, when she transforms she is at full strength. Right now this hulk strength level is alot lower compared to his strength level before cause Bruce is in control of the hulk's body. So the only way this hulk to get stronger is by getting mad. This is how strong hulk is when he is happy or calm it all make sense.

It’s pretty obvious to me that Hulk is holding back, thinking that Jen wouldn’t be so good for her first time and not wanting to completely embarrass her. I just don’t like how they didn’t make it more obvious he was holding back, because now it looks like Jen really is stronger than Hulk which makes zero sense not just because of her lack of experience but also because a She-Hulk just isn’t as strong as a Hulk. But Disney seems to think that FACT is sexist though. Jen is absolutely better at some things that Hulk. Such as controlling her anger, swapping bodies at will and being able to be conscious in her Hulk body. That all makes a lot of sense and could make her the better Hulk. But he’s still going to be physically stronger than her. I don’t know why they insist on making her look stronger though, since she has so many other things going for her that work that he doesn’t. Another thing that makes zero sense is Jen not having an alter ego. Like I said before, Jen being conscious in her Hulk body makes sense, but not not having an alter ego. I’m not sure but I do think this is accurate to the comics though, still doesn’t make sense though. I would of loved to see Jen and She-Hulk, two completely different people, work together better than Bruce and Hulk. I feel like the writers must of thought of this and scrapped it after the gave Jen the ability to break the fourth wall (WHICH IS ANOTHER THING THAT MAKES NO SENSE).
Norton's hulk (and I know it's based on the script he was given) went from pure rage monster to a capacity for empathy, in terms of character development. Ruffalo's version (again largely due to how he's written), started and continues to be used as comic relief, with pure rage as just a tiny sprinkle on top. I like the rage as the main act with the capacity for kindness or humor just barely poking through.

Remember when he cheap shot punches Thor after their fight in the heli-carrier? There were a couple more, but my point is, he has become more of a kid friendly comic relief with brief moments of extreme anger spread about. Avengers was probably the closest of the Ruffalo Hulk to what I liked about Norton's Hulk. Every other movie with Ruffalo's hulk has been a comedy. Don't misunderstand, I think they are hilarious, and it does get me laughing, but I like the Norton Hulk better for the reasons I listed in my other comment.
I think we watched different films. Norton is empathy, he is rage and fear in Hulk form because of that fact. What do you think Banner feels about being Hulk? Rage. Fear. What does he do to others as Hulk? Anger, terrify. Professor Hulk is what we get AFTER he gets control. He gets stronger, but doesn't express as much strength. Similarly you may only see how hard an animal is willing to go if you are killing it. Banner tried to kill himself, and couldn't. So, he grew up instead.
The actual feats of strength accomplished by each Hulk are incomparable too. He literally only gets in bigger and bigger fights. So if you crave violence, you're looking in the wrong place. If you want to be a Spider-man comic writer and enjoy torturing a character permanently without any inclination of character development...that's your right. But...what have you written?

The first episode of this was a perfect foreshadowing for World War Hulk imo. That on top of Ruffalo saying he's more than ready to do it makes me confident that they have softened Hulk up a bit to make his inevitable explosion that much more impactful.
It would be really cool if that's the direction they take it. But after having watched everything in Phase 4, most of it being a "pass the torch to the next generation", along with their announcements for Phase 5 being more torch passing, it looks like Hulk's actual glory days are behind him.

As for character development, I'm happy that Bruce after his life changed and he turned to the hulk, now has full control of his power and he no longer fear his otherside and be feared. For a man that tried to kill himself because he was afraid he could hurt others, to this, I'm really happy seeing him this way.
Buuuttt as a fan of action sheet scenes I really hope we get to explore more of hulk, heck I wish we could see a even just a glimpse of World breaker hulk after all, hulk stayed for a years in skaar, it'd be a shame to not use that by revealing he has a son all along.

Captain Marvel and She-Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are better versions of Rey from the Sequel Trilogy of the Star Wars franchise because:
They have personalities and proper character arcs and developments unlike Rey.
They don’t have accents that come off as annoying unlike Rey.
They don’t steal the spotlights from the other main characters and protagonists who are better written and have personalities and proper character arcs.
None of the other main characters/protagonists are flanderized and killed off to prop them up.
Despite being overpowered with very little training for their superpowers, they have their shortcomings.
Therefore Captain Marvel and She-Hulk are improvements over Rey.

Got it. She is innately amazing, better than the man who has been a hulk for decades. Everyone loves her and she is amazing at all she tries. She may, in fact, be without flaw or challenge, other than to accept her own awesomeness. Surely, this makes for a compelling character story.

Does anyone else remember the first time they saw Infinity War. They showed us how powerful and scary Thanos was by having him beat the Hulk to a pulp. He had destroyed an entire ship, eliminated almost everyone on board, beaten Thor, Beaten Heimdal, and all the warriors of Asguard. But the way they SHOWED us that he was unstoppable was by having him go toe to toe, one on one with the Hulk for fun.

I quit watching comic book movies after iron man 2. It was feeling oversaturated to me back then, now it's just embarrassing how much these rice wafers disguised as movies are so damn popular.
For everyone complaining, Hulk clearly is holding back. She is strong and shows it but she is putting more effort. She is also not pissed off either, so even more power is being withheld. Hulk, well, he tossed that boulder like a basketball while she threw a boulder. He hit the ground with his fist using his arm strength in a controlled fashion, she used her weight and raised herself and most likely did a hard punch.
Most of us aren't analyzing her exact movement of tactical skills. It's the fact that they made her IMMEDIATELY be good at everything while being 1/8 of the size of him. She also looks like a Shrek character and is just corny overall. They could of did better with the premise of this show.

It’s pretty obvious to me that Hulk is holding back, thinking that Jen wouldn’t be so good for her first time and not wanting to completely embarrass her. I just don’t like how they didn’t make it more obvious he was holding back, because now it looks like Jen really is stronger than Hulk which makes zero sense not just because of her lack of experience but also because a She-Hulk just isn’t as strong as a Hulk. But Disney seems to think that FACT is sexist though.
Jen is absolutely better at some things that Hulk. Such as controlling her anger, swapping bodies at will and being able to be conscious in her Hulk body. That all makes a lot of sense and could make her the better Hulk. But he’s still going to be physically stronger than her. I don’t know why they insist on making her look stronger though, since she has so many other things going for her that work that he doesn’t.
Another thing that makes zero sense is Jen not having an alter ego. Like I said before, Jen being conscious in her Hulk body makes sense, but not not having an alter ego. I’m not sure but I do think this is accurate to the comics though, still doesn’t make sense though. I would of loved to see Jen and She-Hulk, two completely different people, work together better than Bruce and Hulk. I feel like the writers must of thought of this and scrapped it after the gave Jen the ability to break the fourth wall (WHICH IS ANOTHER THING THAT MAKES NO SENSE).

Norton's hulk (and I know it's based on the script he was given) went from pure rage monster to a capacity for empathy, in terms of character development.
Ruffalo's version (again largely due to how he's written), started and continues to be used as comic relief, with pure rage as just a tiny sprinkle on top.
I like the rage as the main act with the capacity for kindness or humor just barely poking through.

Remember when he cheap shot punches Thor after their fight in the heli-carrier? There were a couple more, but my point is, he has become more of a kid friendly comic relief with brief moments of extreme anger spread about. Avengers was probably the closest of the Ruffalo Hulk to what I liked about Norton's Hulk. Every other movie with Ruffalo's hulk has been a comedy. Don't misunderstand, I think they are hilarious, and it does get me laughing, but I like the Norton Hulk better for the reasons I listed in my other comment.
I think we watched different films. Norton is empathy, he is rage and fear in Hulk form because of that fact. What do you think Banner feels about being Hulk? Rage. Fear. What does he do to others as Hulk? Anger, terrify.
Professor Hulk is what we get AFTER he gets control. He gets stronger, but doesn't express as much strength. Similarly you may only see how hard an animal is willing to go if you are killing it. Banner tried to kill himself, and couldn't. So, he grew up instead.
The actual feats of strength accomplished by each Hulk are incomparable too. He literally only gets in bigger and bigger fights. So if you crave violence, you're looking in the wrong place. If you want to be a Spider-man comic writer and enjoy torturing a character permanently without any inclination of character development...that's your right. But...what have you written?

The first episode of this was a perfect foreshadowing for World War Hulk imo. That on top of Ruffalo saying he's more than ready to do it makes me confident that they have softened Hulk up a bit to make his inevitable explosion that much more impactful.
It would be really cool if that's the direction they take it. But after having watched everything in Phase 4, most of it being a "pass the torch to the next generation", along with their announcements for Phase 5 being more torch passing, it looks like Hulk's actual glory days are behind him.
@@MrCovi2955 I dunno man, from a franchise standpoint it's actually a super dope idea to make everything seem all kid friendly and cosher and then BOOM, something happens with Banner and we have WWH. Makes sense, Ruffalo's on board as well so I'm crazy hopeful!
