It wont be the same without Matt and Tommy, but I don't think they have anything to really worry about. Once race season starts up we'll see what the new team's got. We already know that the P1 guys will continue to give us the content we love.

It seems Matt and Tommy (as well as Katy who is going freelance) just wanted to do there own thing. Sometimes stuff like that just happens. In that case they really do not have a choice. This was always going to happen at some point.
I do not see how that could be protected by a right. It seems unlikely "race rundown" can just be registered as a trademark. Neither would copyright apply to this. Then you end up with something called "Passing Off". However you then have to argue that "race rundown" is a service and belongs to WTF1 as an unregistered trade mark. I am not a lawyer, but I doubt that any of these apply. Graphics he used do most likely fall under copyright. For example the "logo" of race rundown they used.
@@gauravr3832 yeah I accept that but it’s always felt like they were trying to be popular or get attention with some hot takes rather than being authentic and true to themselves. They’ve also been historically disrespectful towards drivers in the past that never sat right with me. It’s been clear to me that they’ve got agendas against the likes of Sainz, Perez etc and only favour English drivers. Really off putting for me
@@michaek7438 Tommy is a Max Verstappen fan and Matt is a Leclerc fanboy. Even if there was bias to English driver (I did not felt that way) , they very obviously do not only favor English drivers.
