  • In this video I convert a Bose Acoustimass Module 3-2-1 Home Theater Sub from active to passive so it will work with my "Frankenstein" surround sound system!
This subwoofer is paired with a 100watt RMS Fosi Audio MO-2 subwoofer amplifier.
I have the complete Bose 3-2-1 home theater system for my upstairs and I've always liked the way the subwoofer sounded, so when I was starting to get the parts to build a surround sound system for the basement I decided to find one off of eBay, and convert it to passive! So that's just what I did!
CORRECTION! In the video I said that this subwoofer is 100Watts RMS like the amplifier but that is not the case! This subwoofer is actually 200 WATTS!!!!!
Also You'll notice I didn't solder the speaker wire to the terminal. That's because I lost my soldering iron! It'll turn up one day...
All of the electrical components are stored away in the subwoofer still. I'm going to keep them for my other 3-2-1 sub as replacement parts!
    Thanks For Watching!!!
