My 2014 AWD Buick Encore has the stunning Silver Cocoa Metallic exterior finish. It has got to be one of the best and most fun to drive cars I've ever owned. With 250 pounds of tools neatly stowed in the rear storage area, and with Prolong Engine Treatment in the Engine and Prolong Transmission Treatment in the Transmission - I have been averaging a Very Impressive 30.9 Miles Per Gallon! Incredible for an All Wheel Drive Vehicle! The Prolong has also made the Transmission shift so much more smoothly, and it has given the engine a very noticeable power boost that make it accelerate up to speed much faster, and also greatly improved the passing power. The handling is excellent and the car is Very Quiet - such a Pleasure to drive! I love the Blind Spot Alerts built in to both of the outside Rear View Mirrors and the Cross-Traffic Alert for the Rear Vision Camera System for backing up - an advanced Side-Scanning Radar system that warns you of traffic that's coming at you before it comes into the view of the Rear Vision Camera image. The warning comes in the form of a Blinking and Beeping Red Triangle that appears on the side of the video display from where the traffic is coming at you. Though this Cross Traffic Alert feature was formerly introduced on the 2015 models - I was so excited to find that it was included on the end of the 2014 model year vehicle, which I got a great deal on as a brand new vehicle in my dealer's show room. The turning radius is incredible and the overall driving experience is WOW ! - Remarkable! Do I sound excited ? You Bet I Am - about my 2014 AWD Buick Encore!
Great review! I have a 2013 Encore. I had to be among the very first people to buy one because They had just come out and it was about a year later before I started seeing other Encores on the road. Three years later, I still love it! My wife has a 2015 Chevy Equinox that she loves, but tells me that she'll trade me for my older car if I ever want to. When the time comes for me to buy a new car I plan to get another Encore. Love this car! And they've only improved them since I bought mine!
I just leased my new 2016 Buick Encore and I love it. It is very quiet like you said and I only have the standard model which still has a lot of nice features. It does handle good on bumpy roads and has a smooth ride while cruising around town. I loved at the end of the video how you kept calling it the Enclave. To me it is a baby enclave which is just perfect for my needs. 😀
Im on my 2nd Encore I Love Both of them! Beautiful Car inside and out! IMHO nothing else compares. I wouldn't want you driving my car you beat the balls off the engine
Two months ago we bought a 2016 Encore Sport Touring AWD. I wanted the upgrade in power over the stock engine. 153hp vs 138hp and 20% more torque. It's quiet and I was really surprised how peppy it was ... it moves out if you step on it. It has all the bells and whistles we could want. The only thing that took some getting used to was the Auto/Stop. First time I stopped at a light and the engine shut off was a bit odd but when you remove your foot from the brake it starts in 500 milliseconds. After driving it for a while now I don't even notice it anymore, and if the AC is on the engine keeps running. It's a mileage thing and if you do a lot of city driving I can see where you'd save fuel. The main driver is my wife and we traded in a 2006 Lucerne on the Encore and she likes his car better. Don't fool yourself, it is a small vehicle but for the two of us it has plenty of room and the back seats fold down flat. The front passenger seat also folds forward and it you wanted to you could carry something 8' long. So far so good, we love it!
Loving the positivity of this review! I have a cruze and for all the hate it gets it's quite a nice riding/handling little car.. the Encore is no exception, if power is an issue there's several ECU tunes for the cruze/sonic that will pair up with this encore. sweet little biscuit!
Great review! This would be perfect for me ... I'm 5'2, petite, no children and always riding by myself so I really don't need much room at all. A few questions though for anyone who already has this vehicle. How does it ride on bumpy or less than smooth roads? How about against the wind? The snow? How is the suspension and handling around curves? Does it hug the road? Is it fun to take for long distance driving like a Jetta or Audi? Parking, is it easy? I still have a hard time parking my folks BMW x3 unless I'm backing it in.
I could tell its a quiet ride. It seemed like it as you were driving. What city and state were you in, I actually like the scenery as you were driving.
just a heads up, in the beginning you had mentioned the car was a crossover. which i could see how that may confuse some people. not sure if you noticed just thought i would. i have this car and i love it!
Buick has many problems & is very user unfriendly. Compass you have to manually calculate from 15 zones in USA. Doors do not unlock after you shut off the car & remove key. Pain to have to unlock it manually each time. Many problems with my new Buick. Gas mileage is not good also.
+SHADOWBOXERBAYBEE i hear ya. its these crazy SC roads. it takes a WHILE to get used to them versus a city, but now that i am... it can be alarming to watch. or so they tell me.
I'm looking at buying one but I don't like Chevy and this is looking like a des guided Chevy. Every Chevy I've owned has been a gas eater and I hate it.

Pretty good on the road review. I wonder why people criticize the radio controls without mentioning you can control from the steering wheel.

Excellent Review - Best in Class - I Definitely Agree!

Am I the only one that finds it disturbing how much he takes his eyes off the frickin road?!

Its pretty. I live by kiawah sc
TY for noticing!! The roads are gorgeous and covered in angel oak trees:). They are very narrow tho! It took some adjustment when i moved from Chicago

Hi again , do you have access to try a Touring Sport ?? I want to buy a Encore ,but afraid they have to little power .
No one has tried it
How quiet is Encore? is it quieter than midsize sedan like Chevy Malibu?
+Hito Nino no, it is not
You seam to be on the throttle quite a bit , was that the case ? It´s the only thing that scares me from buying it
thank´s
Oh, it's just to liven up the videos a bit. The car is chill:)
you said it was a quit cabin and all I was hearing in the cabin was engine noise reeving ..hummm
Mustafa Khan almost all cars do that if you step on it. Look at just about every review of this car and they will say it's quiet because it is
Nice 👍,🤠🎶🌻😌😌😌🐈🔑
why does he keep calling it enclave lol
