Yes it's Ali's Quran as the recitation of Hafs from Asem was taught by Abdur-Rahman As-Sulami who was taught by Ali, so in this sense it is, he didn't mean Ali made it up, but Ali's transmission of the Quran is what we have today, so think a little and don't be shallow minded

Is this an older video, I'm not sure if I've watched it before??
Personally, I dont think we even need to refer to the Quran if we need to refute Shias.
Look at how prevalent asking Ali is in their homes vs asking the prophet.
Let's say it was OK to ask a person for help like they do, what person in their right mind would call upon Ali when he can call upon the prophet himself? In a way, it's a good thing that this is not the case because we don't need that sort of things associated with the prophet.
That in itself, shows who is more important in their creed; Prophet or imam?
I spoke to someone one and he said let's not talk about this and we should just wait for judgement day. He will be behind Ali and I will be behind Abu Bakr. Regardless of how much respect we have for the caliphs, Ali included, I hope to be behind the prophet hopefully with the caliphs. We are muslim and the prophet is whom we should all be behind of.
I get the feeling that many of them think the prophet came to just clear the path for Ali instead at times. They talk about ahlul bayt but forget whose house it is in a way.
Prophet goes to Medina and trusts Abu Bakr to be the person he goes with, They say Abu Bakr weaseled his way into being the last guy. Prophet was hiding and scare to get caught but they say Abu Bakr was a munafiq because he was scared or crying. It's like speaking ot flat earhters but on a deen level lol

وأيضًا هذه الايات قد تساعدك.
قال الله سبحانه: وَأَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلا تَدْعُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ أَحَدًا [الجن:18]،
وقال سبحانه: وَمَنْ يَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ لا بُرْهَانَ لَهُ بِهِ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ إِنَّهُ لا يُفْلِحُ الْكَافِرُونَ [المؤمنون:117]،
وقال سبحانه: ذَلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْْ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَالَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ مَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْ قِطْمِيرٍ إِنْ تَدْعُوهُمْ لا يَسْمَعُوا دُعَاءَكُمْ وَلَوْ سَمِعُوا مَا اسْتَجَابُوا لَكُمْ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُونَ بِشِرْكِكُمْ وَلا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثْلُ خَبِيرٍ [فاطر:13-14]، سبحانه وتعالى.
