THE SECOND BOX WAS MADE OF PINE AND CEDAR

Thanks for sharing. Picked up a couple of things I’m going to try. I like the wedges for clamping. I’m wondering if you have a problem with your work piece lifting on the wedge side, staying tight to your waste board…..I’ve use interior polyurethane but never exterior poly before. Wondering how the finish differs?
I use 1/4” laminate under my workpiece to protect my waste board. Thanks again.

No I’ve not had an issue with lift off with the work piece
Exterior poly is oil based and tints the wood slightly which in some cases adds depth but I too have used interior poly and the 1/4 inch laminate is a great idea thanks for sharing
