- London, UK's capital, a melting pot of culture, music, style and the City of Air Max.
The Nike Air Max 90 especially has influenced culture and many individuals in London and is still one of UK’s favorite choice of sneakers today. Worn by young and old, the Air Max culture in London and the UK is huge.
In this documentary, we traveled to the UK to meet some of London’s' Nike Air Max 90 lovers and talked about the impact of this Air Bubble Beast and the status of the Air Max 90 for them and the culture.
We also took the chance to give them an exclusive preview of the upcoming Nike Air Max 90 "Viotech". The sneaker is an hommage to the Nike SB Dunk "Viotech" from 2002 and the brother of the recently released Nike Air Max 90 “Flip Viotech”.

Being from the South of England lads were obsessed with the 95/90/Tn's. Those were the trainers everyone wanted to wear. I'm a 90's/180's fan myself and I'm delighted the 90's are being shown some love. Thanks Afew! :D

Air Max 90 and London just go together! Watching this video you can see it straight away. Like if you are in London dude all you would want to be wearing is Air Max 90s. Its definitely the shoe for that city
such a sick video. its crazy how we have so many cultures around something like just what we have on our feet, and especially a particular Nike shoe like this. i don't want to say it's important that it's documented like this, but it deserved to be, atleast for our future to look back on. because these aren't documented or forced cultural movements; i've always thought of them as a mutual understanding with others in the culture sort of thing. if they fade out, they will disappear as a thing forever, and that would be a right shame.

The Airmax 1 is Dutch. That why you have all the Patta and Parra collabs. But the 90, back in the day, was a gabber and hooligan trainer in the 90's. Together with the BW. It's still big in the Netherlands
Great video, like all your content! I live in the US, south florida, and love wearing my 90's almost everyday, as well as Gel Lytes and Diadora's. Im sure London wears Air Max's but Ive been rockin' them since the mid 90's. 100% its not a war on shoes, lol, but Air Max's aren't just a london culture. The Air Max 90's do need to come back to premium materials, that would be great but I do have a pair of DQM 🥓 so as for now Im good :)

I think it's cool the way that cities around the world claim their own air max like Tokyo and Milan with the 97 Amsterdam with the 1 and London with the 90's but I have to say it's a bit disappointing that Liverpool as a city has never had an official Air max collab although it may not be recognized as globally as London or Amsterdam its a small city with a long and rich history especially with Manchester now having an official collab with the 95 and sort of claiming it for their own when everyone in the North West of England knows that the 95 has always belonged to Liverpool
My first pair of air max 90s was my first airmax ever, my cousin gave them to me when I was 12, they were size 11 and I was a size 9😂😂 I didn’t give two shits tho I still wore them for the next 2 years, wore them till they fell off my feet. Loved those shoes so much, n matter how beat they got, I would just glue them back together and keep wearing them

From south London I saw the infareds on the shelf in 1990 I begged my dad for ages and bang!! 💥 got them!!! And guess what 33 years later I still got a pair of infareds don’t play 👟😎😜
I do fully accept that the 90 is a London shoe but it does my head in when londoners try to claim the 95 as well, 95's have always been and always will be a Liverpool shoe I do appreciate that other areas of the UK rock 95's but not on the scale of how highly regarded they are in liverpool

Great video Air Max 90 all the way look great 33 years old purchase my first pair in 1990 the ladies Pink first edition Air Max 90 and I'm still buying Air Max 90 2023 realise the Air Max 95 are too narrow at the the toes the 97 too much of a bubble to go wrong
