The real Queen Of Country. She was the best singer humanity will ever have. She’s with Patsy now. Her soul is at peace. She’s with Patsy.
Rest in Heaven, Patsy and Loretta. Your extraordinary music lives on forever.
Best Friends, reunited in Heaven. Rest In Peace Loretta❤
I Love the fact that Patsy Cline stood up for Loretta when some others were telling her to go back where she came from. That says ALOT about Patsy's character!!!!🤠
InstaBlaster
Loretta said that Patsy Cline did everything for her. She said that Patsy not only gave her clothes and taught her how to wear makeup and how to dress but that Patsy also gave her money to pay rent, to buy food and even bought drapes for her living room because Loretta didn't have anything in her house when she first got to Nashville. Patsy had to have a heart of gold to care about someone like that and Patsy must have really believed in Loretta and for the short time that they were friends it must have been a beautiful friendship from the heart. You don't hear about anyone doing things like this for each other now days. Somehow I believe that Patsy had been in Loretta's place at one time or another and maybe someone helped Patsy, or Patsy knew how hard it was starting out in a new place while trying to make a living singing . I love the story about Patsy and Loretta. It is heart touching. So sad that Patsy's life was so short.
That whole short story of them 2 brings a tear to my eyes God bless both of those country girls!!!!
That's cool.
Hello Brenda
You hear a lot about their friendship, they even made a movie about it. I have never seen any photo of them together. VERY STRANGE !!!!!!!
I lost 3 sons in their 20’s and one was 35. I’m so beyond blessed I dreamed where they were and it’s okay now. I hate anyone’s life shortened, we aren’t promised the next breath, but Patsy Cline was a favorite of all times for me. My late husband was a composer and guitarist , I absolutely loved music 🎼 I
This is really endearing. One does not witness such friendships often in a lifetime. True love.
My mother like Patsy and Loretta was born in 1932. They were just tough no nonsense ladies. My mom was not a quitter growing up losing her mother and orphaned at 7 years old. She escaped her abusive foster parents at 14. She quit school at 9th grade. Her story could be made into movie.
I would love to meet her someday. Her story is inspirational. Just a poor sweet country girl that loved to sing. And Nashville was and is lucky to have her.
The Queens Of Country
That's great! I know how it feels to grow up with nothing. Lot's of folks can't understand it, unless you go through it.
She was absolutely beautiful. I remember her being my daddy's favorite _country girl_ - he always thought she was drop dead gorgeous + he was right :)
I cried so much with this movie
Patsy Cline was a beautiful soul. I loved her and Loretta
The original portrayal of Lorettas story didnt go into their relationship so this had my heart
Hello Ellen
Patsy and Loretta...two of my all time favorite All-American entertainers. Sadly, they just just don't make'em like that anymore. They both had heart, talent galore & a sense of decency. Many of today's performers are given over to the the dark side...perverse & impossible to watch.
My mama was the best teacher of so many things!! But, my dad taught me too!! Thank God for them both!!
Hi Debbie
They were an awesome duo. Best best friends before it was popular.
Hi Sandra
Imagine how much these things are worth now that she is gone. She lived a long life!
Well Loretta has been my favorite since I was 14. Let’s just say Many moons ago. She is my hero and a TRUE AMERICAN TREASURE I love you Miss Loretta Grandma in AZ :)
I love this,I just enjoy learning everything about her and I grew up with pasty Cline too,I cry when I hear the song that was my dad's favorite song by patsy.
Hello beautiful
Loretta owes everything to Patsy Cline!
I love the story of their friendship. No rivalry, enough cake pieces for all of us.
She owes a lot to Conway twittys lovin' too
Lifetime is making another movie on Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn
Just watched it tonight. It was so sad when we lost Patsy Cline.
@Clearwater Guy it was a Lifetime movie so what do you expect? It wasn't the worst I've ever seen though.
@@mollyjones4165
What's the name of it? Maybe I can find it. I missed it on TV.
@@thatgirlthatsme
"Patsy and Loretta."
@@mollyjones4165 Yes it was sad I wish Patsy would of ridden back with Dottie West instead. If I offered I would not of taken no for an answer. I would of told her it is better to be late and not arrive
Psych! I had my hopes up for a clip of Loretta and Patsy.
hamnose I've never seen one. And I've looked. Patsy's family might have something unreleased, or Loretta might. I guess only time will tell.
I know, right? I was thinking some special appearance of them singing together was gonna rock the house! [sigh] Clickbait is annoying...
@@kaysatterlee7674 They are from different worlds and this is PBS. Fat chance.

Hello Sherry
RIP Loretta Lynn
2008 or 2009 exactly sure when we're in hurricane Mills Tennesseeand her one room museum saw her dolls and everything that people gave her I feel really privileged for I went to her little coal mine. The house it was a duplicate of her coal Miner's house and this is no lie people say I sound just like her and Patsy Cline I love all
That looks like Jimmy Capps playing guitar in this b&w video clip. RIP Jimmy.

@Gabe Strong I like the intro on the live version a lot. I hadn't heard the song before the Patsy & Loretta movie version but it is now a favorite.
Good for her I grew up poor too not famous but I get it
Hoarder is the last word I would use for Loretta. Smart is what she is.
Hi Pat
They are best friends
Mountain girl is what my city family call me
Got to love her she just says what ever is in that frontal lobe
Definitely is The Queen of Country music Mrs Loretta Lynn God Bless her and Families always 🙏😇 That is My Opinion 💯
Hi Theresa
0:10 That was one odd looking microphone! Anyone know anything about it? So tiny and all… Why aren’t this type used now?

"The Girl That I am Now", written by Loretta, released on her 1963 album "Loretta Lynn Sings".
What was that song at the beginning?
The girl that I am know
Michael De Ponte thank you friend
Hmmm amor
It has been said kitty Patsy And Loretta Jean Shepard Jan Howard and Skeeter Davis where the true original trailblazers the rest would follow Connie smith said her favorite girl singer is Loretta Lynn even Dolly stated it herself
Lol...The panties couldn't be wore out!
Can you imagine how much money Patsy Clines undies are worth?
One million dollars
They sound pretty thrashed. Imagine the stain in them.
@Helen Lindsay FFS learn how sentences are structured. Don't act like your shit don't stink and I'm pretty sure the same biochemical mayhem happened between Patsy's and Loretta's legs as well. As for sniffing undies, you're telling the story, not me. Grow a brain.......Asshat!
Probably 3 dollars & that was expensive back in the 50s ,60s one million lol she didn't even make that kind of money only Liz Taylor did
@@sda9995 Liz Taylor wasn't a singer...
She left a pair of hose at my aunt's house in Ohio. Many moons ago
Hello Kathryn
Hello beautiful
I keep stuff too, because i might need it one day, and who knows if ill have the cash. I'm too poor to take the risk. Guess i was in the bathroom when they handed out the white privilege.
Now Loretta had face work done but think it was well done!!
so if it wasnt for patsy ,,,, loretta wouldnt have been much ,,,,, patsy the real queen of country ,,,and the best female singer of all time
Kitty Patsy and loretta where all in the same era but one thingss for sure those 3 women will always be the queens of country
I agree, Timothy. I love all three but Patsy Cline was better than both Loretta Lynn and Kitty Wells and in my opinion, Patsy Cline was and still is the best female singer of all time.
Not so, Timothy Parker. Maybe from the angle of how her lipstick might looks, yeah -- but Owen Bradley brought out Loretta's true vocal talent and also welcomed her songwriting abilities. Loretta really did turn out to be the female Hank Williams -- and THAT took real talent, my friend. Still, I gotta give Patsy her dues. It woulda been interesting to see how country music turned out had that plane never crashed. I grew up in the mountains of northwestern Virginia (Front Royal) close by where Patsy was born (Gore), born just a few years after she passed, but her voice was always was a part of my youth.

humility never leaves you when you grow up poor. She probably never had underwear until Patsy came into her life. Poverty makes you appreciate things.
Blessed are the poor in spirit.
I love Loretta. She is the Queen of country.
P
Just like buddy holly was the match that kindled the flame of waylon Jennings patsy was the match kindled the flame of Loretta Lynn
jP
She grows up poor.you Don't get rid of thing then
Loretta grew up poor, so when you’re poor you cannot afford to discard things. That’s why she kept everything.
despacito
they don't make underwear like that anymore
I always thought Loretta Lynn was such a good person but even after her support of tRump, I was very disappointed!
She is smart for supporting a real president unlike the thing we have in now!
