I just bought some washers today for my McLaren 12c GT3 Pacific Racing from a store called Skycraft in Orlando, FL. It seems the guide flag is too shallow for that car compared to others
Very interesting. Thanks for posting. Question: Why is all this necessary in relation to a wood track? I can see replacing stock components with better, high performance after market components even on a plastic track.
The reason it is important on a wood track is normally you don't have the magnetic effect. You are right all of the changes will help on plastic track also.
It's a little more involved than just filing the body mounting posts. The front valance was removed from the chassis and glued into place on the body. The rear valance may need to be removed also. Use a hobby saw to remove the valance/front end making sure you don't affect the mounting holes in the chassis. Once the front (and back) are removed from the chassis and glued to the body then you can file the mounting posts to lower the body.
@@davidwickham1665 Score and snap works well with plastics also, provided you are good and steady with a sharp exact o knife. No dust, and a nice clean line.
Great video, couldn't help but notice the cable snips. I have several pair myself

Good info. Can you give the spelling of the 'beanova?' guide spacer you use and/or a supplier to look up?

Question: Why do you want "body flow"? Wouldn't you want the body tight to the chassis to reduce drag?
Thank you very much for this Tutorial !
I realize Im quite randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to stream newly released movies online?
@Melvin Kody I would suggest Flixzone. You can find it on google =)
@Alessandro Wyatt yea, I've been watching on flixzone for years myself :)
@Alessandro Wyatt Thanks, signed up and it seems like a nice service :D I appreciate it !
@Melvin Kody Glad I could help :D
Did you do file the front body mounting posts to reduce the fender gap over the front wheels? The Scalextric Cougar seems to be notorious for that.
