The 12-time All-WNBA recipient and 10-time WNBA All-Star led the Fever to a league-record 12 consecutive playoff appearances and 13 overall. She was named 2011 league MVP and 2012 Finals MVP. Catchings retired with the most rebounds and steals in WNBA history and second-most points. She still ranks No. 1 in steals, No. 3 in points and rebounds, No. 8 in assists and No. 12 in blocks. She was also named WNBA Defensive Player of the Year an unprecedented five times.
Catchings won four Olympic Gold medals as a member of Team USA. She played at the University of Tennessee from 1997-2001, where she was an All-American and won a national championship. She was named he Naismith College Player of the Year in 2000.
