How Good Are The Fighting Type Mega Evolutions? (v1.6)

- Physical attack is the bread and butter of all fighting types but these mega evolution take that power to the next level. Here in Emerald elite redux (1.6) These mega Pokémon have been given 4 abilites at once and are destructive monsters. I will be going over each of them in order of worst to best. Almost like a top 10 ranking. Which of them is the most viable?

Base game heracross should've kept moxie. Moxie on salamance's 135 attack is scary, Moxie on Mega-Heracross's 185 attack is petrifiying. Gut's could also work given that burn is Heracrosse's biggest weakness. You could also pull cheeky strats in doubles with burning your own heracross.
Edit: on Medicham's section it occurred to me that in the base game it has bullet punch and fake out, but they gave it skill swap with pure power before they gave it mach punch.
I like your vids, but the music is unbalanced across the video. Sometimes it’s just too loud, distracting from your voice. The Gallade part is notable for this.
Honestly I don't think it's the music, this guy just doesn't have that energetic youtuber voice, so he's alot more monotone. Even said youtubers usually make their voice more "dramatic" on camera to make it more enjoyable, but alot of small youtubers haven't really grasped that yet (which is no problem but it is true

Was just watching the video on Mega-Kangaskhan to add to my roster when this dropped. Love the videos.
My issue with Mega Lopunny, is that her normal form is amazing with access to technician + a kick boost + a BIG assortment of multi hit kick moves, it basically deletes the game, which I cannot say for her mega.
You need to talk about some dope walls.For eg swampert.Body press,Stamina,Regnerator,Protect,toxic,stealth rock or any other utility move.
How they turn out in practice:
Heracross-You aren’t wrong in that it utterly sucks, it was actually much better before 1.6 back when it had skill link and I think guts. Thankfully in the future it’s getting a retune as you can check out in the alpha section of the dex.
Medicham/Mega Gallade- Grouping these together since Medi ham’s lack of favor comes from one thing:
Just use mega gallade.
Does everything Medi does but better in every guise.
As for mega gallade, previously regular gallade actually outclassed it due to having perfectionist triple kick and taxel, but with that being removed in 1.6, mega gallade is rising in popularity, especially on mono fighting.
Machamp is absurdly strong, but he isn’t good in practice since while the bulk is good, since everything is absurdly strong, it isn’t really enough, and it’s in an awkward speed tier where it’s too slow to benefit from even webs but not slow enough to function on trick room, and prio only goes so far.
Lopunny is good on paper but in practice it gets outclassed by all of the other many priority offense killers in the meta, for instance dnite, and struggles to deal with the extra bulk.
Lucario: even with fighting espeed, it’s never going to get any mileage in Ubers due to giratina’s precence and if you want to run a gira vulnerable mega, blastoise is generally better since in exchange, it ruins the entire tier after a shell smash with just hydro pump and focus blast, while having defensive utility like scaring the daylights out of marowak that it can use to turn into set up opportunity
Blaziken: as long as giratina is prevalent, this Mon is never getting anything done, end of story
Mewtwo not only suffers from gira, but there is another problem: mewtwo y is generally better suited with it’s kit
Interested to know how Mewtwo Y fares in the Elite Redux Ubers meta?
Definitely is better off than x, mostly due to it being a much better abuse of psychic terrain pre mega, tho considering mystic power it may now have use beyond being an annoyance to mons like kyurem black and ekiller, it can actually use them as entry to threaten it’s own, tho it won’t ever be main stream: yveltal and gira on for however long it’s in the tier will make sure of that
I'd say Cinderace deserves a mention as potentially the best starter. He's eating good with high speed, high attack, and striker high jump kicks.
Aside from the music being a bit too loud compared to your voice at times, great video as always. Your vids make me want to try emerald elite redux ( Feraligatr, Lapras and Cascoon would be my three choices right away, no peculiar reasons =p). Keep up the good work!
Wait until 2.0 comes out before trying. You'll have to make a new save anyways (and I hear it won't be long until 2.0 is out)

I use normal lopunny because it has tecnician and striker, also triple kick, and triple axel, i use wide lens on lopunny to ensure the 3 hits of triple kick dealing insane amount of damage without needing mega evolution.

Ive used mega lucario already a bit and I want to say that I honestly was super disappointed. Too slow to effectively use for more than a close combat and maybe a prio move. But I'm gonna give a lot of these guys a try.
Edit: to be fair I havent tried the e-speed set, which may solve a lot of my problems!
Yea that's why I prefer mega feraligtr y and mega Dragonite as they have quite the survivability
Normal and fighting type have perfect neutral coverage with scrappy
Nice video, I’ve been thinking about what mega to use because I’m probably going for a fighting monotype next.
Also, been finding a lot of non mega forms are debatably more cracked than their mega forms. Technician Kangaskhan, coil up Steelix, scarf moxie Haxorus, and aerilate Dragonite all carried runs for me.
Guts on Kanga is more worth it than tech, coil up is either or, moxie Haxorus is good albeit mega hax with its nuclear steel stab and crit antics using webs are very good to pass up, and Aerilate dnite actually sync’s well with mega dnite in terms of match up

Mega Gallade is powerful, the last time I played he beat it, practically the entire Elite Four beat alone. Btw could you record about the most powerful dragons, because the last time I played it I realized that Appletune in the sun is practically indestructible if you distribute the stats well.

or better, give it Combat Specialist which is the ability of Incineroar
The Best mega fighting type is mega hitmonchan(heracross is op but slow and gallade don't have sharpness,lopunny is Better than mega lopunny, machamp,brellom and hitmontop too, mega infernape,hitmonlee,lucario,blaziken and medicham are great)

Double power up punches, and then mach punches to finish the treat, hitmonchan only needs that his ability get a pacth because it has a bug.

Honestly losing Guts was a letdown for me in Mega Machamp

8:42 "never struggled" is not really correct cuz he is kinda bad in the newer generations, like sure he was still really good in gen6 so at the time the megas where kinda unecessary but now a days even more now in generation 9 his not really that great
