Mr. Patrick, the weather forecast news reported about autumn leaves today. In Japan, as autumn deepens, enjoying the autumn leaves is like a customary event.
I know that countries other than Japan also enjoy the seasons, and I know that there are wonderful autumn scenes, but personally, I feel that the changes in the autumn landscape in Japan are very tasteful. You have a variety of events (work) scheduled until the end of October, so when you have time to settle down, please enjoy autumn. 🍃🍂🍁😊
There are some wonderful autumn spots in Tokyo.
My recommendation is Meiji Jingu Gaien, Meiji Jingu Memorial Picture Gallery / 明治神宮外苑、聖徳記念絵画館前 "Autumn leaves and fallen leaves of ginkgo trees".
In the latter half of November, when the ginkgo leaves fall, it looks like golden rain falling on a golden carpet, which is really amazing.
A long time ago, there was an Italian restaurant with a terrace called "SELAN" on the street from Aoyama Street to the picture gallery. Unfortunately, that restaurant has now closed, but the building remains intact, and other restaurants are still operating in the same location, with terrace seating still available. Enjoying a leisurely cup of tea on the terrace is a relaxing moment.
A sunny afternoon when the air feels cool is also recommended, but the night is also magical. The picture gallery in front of the row of ginkgo trees is lit up, and the scenery of the picture gallery surrounded by the golden ginkgo trees makes it feel like a masterpiece.
It's probably within biking distance from where you live. 🚲･･･
However, not only ginkgo leaves but also ginkgo nuts fall and stick to the soles of shoes. The ginkgo nuts smell really bad, so please wear shoes that you don't mind getting stinky.
The deep taste of the scene is the opposite, and the smell is strong. ...OMG 😱😵💫🤢
It doesn't smell so bad when you're walking around looking at the scenery, but when you enter the room with those shoes on, the strong smell of ginkgo nuts hits you. 👞👟🥾
🌱PS1 : I used to be attacked by the smell of ginkgo nuts, so after I got home, I immediately washed my shoes. But even if my favorite shoes start to stink, it's one of those scenes that I want to see again and again in the fall. 😊👍🏼 By the way, the tree of Tokyo is a ginkgo tree, and the symbol mark of Tokyo is designed with a ginkgo leaf as a motif.
🌱PS2 : Ms.Yasuha is the daughter of a famous rakugo storyteller / 落語家 / Rakugo-ka in Tokyo.
(Previously, Mr. Yonezu played a rakugo storyteller in the music video for "Shinigami / 死神".)
I love this song too, but perhaps Ms.Yasuha herself is "the person who is most pleased to have your attention". She is very straightforward and innocence, but she is unconventional and self-assertive. She is a little self-conscious because of her favorable family background. But this song was composed by herself and she is very talented. She may be getting in the way of her own wealth of talent with her own personality. ( ← This is just my personal opinion.)
Regardless of her personality, it's such a great song that I hum along to it... I can sing without looking at the lyrics. 😋🥰✌🏼
🌱PS3 : I was just guessing that most of your music-savvy friends love more geeky music.
However, "Chuo Freeway" that I heard while driving on the hot spring trip the other day, and "Fly-day Chinatown" recommended by Mr. Kentaro of 629 are songs that I am very familiar with.
I feel close to your friends that they have selected such nostalgic and familiar songs and recommend them to you. 😌😊
🌱PS4 : I don't understand the root of my own impulses, but I love 'drag queens' and I can't stop following them in the media. I guess that maybe they overcame great difficulties, opened their hearts, and each and every word of theirs, based on their rich experience, touched my heart. The Queen I love the most is Australia's "Ms. Gingzilla". I have been following her activities for many years. It's almost like being addicted.
Even in Japan, there are many wonderful people in the active Drag queen. One of them, "Ms. Dorian Lollobrigida", covers and sings "Fly-day ChinaTown" on her channel.
The music video consists of a parody of The First Take, in which she is very unique, fun and sings beautifully.
If you don't mind, please watch it when you have time. If you challenge "Fly-day ChinaTown" at karaoke, her singing may be the perfect KEY for your singing. ...maybe 🙄🤗
Moreover, the full chorus is included, making it ideal for karaoke practice. 😁👍🏼

独特のメロディが秀逸だった当時の名曲ですね。泰葉さんの声もぴったりで完璧でした。本人が天才気質だったところが色々な問題を引き起こしてしまったように思えますが、作品としてのこの曲は今歌われるに相応しい名曲です。
