Im happy they are giving more depth to william ,rick ,and donald. The scene on the roof was one of my favorite scenes in the episode. The little smile from donald at the end was lovely.
With Anissa now being introduced I HOPE that they don't shy away from a certain part of the comics. Not because it's some kind of "hell yeah" moment, but because there's so much character growth that comes from it, from multiple characters.
They will probably hint at/ censor so they don’t get cancelled by their network though it is possible that at the last minute before you think she’s gonna *do it* she gets interrupted by something

As a comic reader, my mouth was gaping for the entire last 10 minutes. Seeing these blasphemously iconic moments and events animated just made me feel so happy, i was SO f*cking giddy. They captured one of the most amazing, iconic moments from the entire comic run PERFECTLY.
I appreciate how Anissa looks similar to Sasha Calle’s Supergirl. So powerful. Also the wink and nod to the animation tricks was funny. Awesome episode!
The irony of Bulletproof going over the background of his teammates, when in fact he has the most tragic story is de best forshadowing i have ever seen.
Also, can we take a moment to appreciate how the "Artist" was basically explaining to us ( the audience) on why it takes so long. ( not going to lie, I was like huh... no kidding? 😅😅. Another EXCELLENT breakdown Charlie 👌
I could tell they were winding Anissa up to be the last nail in the coffin for Amber and Mark from the last episode. Oh people didn’t like the way Amber treated Mark, Anissa will make her look like a picnic. Loved how they riffed on themselves at the comic con panel too that was neat.
Anissa was straight up my favorite part of this episode she is just so cool love her comic new redesign she look so much like sasha calle supergirl from the flash movie.
This is very obvious, but the one thing I really admire about invincible is he lives up to his namesake not in the sense of strength, but that time and time again he will stand up against things that he fully knows he has no chance of winning against, but does it anyway just because it’s the right thing to do. That’s his real power, his willpower and determination.

I love the crater that Anissa sent mark into. A little teaser and foreshadowing for the next time they meet and for those who knows what happens. Can't wait for Season 3 already and I hate the wait
Anissa didn’t put her weight into any of those punches and mark was getting cooked smh 😭. And Donald’s side plot is so good. I was not as excited as I thought I was going to be when Amber and Mark broke up. Lowkey was sad bc she was really trying to be understanding😓

Having read the comics and knowing Anissa was coming, I was curious how her storyline would translate to the show. I still am, but for now, they've done a great job. She's just as crazy as I remember. And thank god she broke up Mark and Amber. Also, the Comic con scene was perfect.
Anissa: "I'll tell you this: I like you and I want you. Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way. The choice is yours, what’s it gonna be?" *At that moment Mark felt The real terror* 💀
That meta comment with the artist from Science Dog felt like the biggest slap to the face. Yes let’s make jokes about how we cut corners in animation and still make you wait the length of a Viltrumites life for part two of a season that was already done.
I feel as though Mark is also still holding back even against non-humanoid/non-sentient enemies. I think he did have the capacity to yeet through that kaiju, but he’s too soft to commit to putting down even a dangerous wild animal.
Anissa is around 850 years old. And yeah apparently she's faster, which wasn't said in the comics, but she's definitely not stronger or a better fighter than Nolan. Nolan is fast enough to be able to turn her attacks against her. Also, viltrumites don't have super hearing, she just figured out Mark had someone speaking/listening in, likely when he randomly knew about the Kaiju over a thousand miles away. That's why Cecil calls her smart
I think this analysis is spot on other than the fact that the way the show depicted Allen's increased strength showed me at least that he could've defeated Anissa in combat rather than just being able to hold his own. The fact he got hit twice (the first time him saying that hurt a lot less, and the second being him faking an injury so that she would be able to take him back to the prison) and didn't bleed or show any signs of actual injury or fatigue shows how much stronger Allen has grown since his last encounter with Viltrumites. I'm not sure how the comics make his power seem, but it seemed obvious to me that if Allen were to fight any Viltrumites that weren't on the level of their leader that captured Omni-Man and told Mark to take up his father's mission that Allen would likely prove to be successful. He was clearly stronger than Anissa in the short amount of time we saw them commence in combat. Makes me really interested to see how he and Omni-Man will go about breaking out of the Viltrumite prison if they are able to do so.
Can't believe Butcher's wife from The Boys is actually playing her🤣🤣, the showrunners definitely thought of the irony it would be to bring her in for Anissa's role.
The way Anissa shook off the blood from her custom was badass. I'm never seen that before like anywhere. What a crazy relationship her and Mark will have in the future is one of my favorite. Makes me say o snap and laugh at the same time. 😮😅 I can't wait.

I like Amber Robert Kirkman, said when he did this animated version that he’s a much better writer than he was when he originally made invisible, and it shows the relationship between Mark and Amber was well done and organic and real
Donald’s Arc overcoming his trauma and choosing to live with the memories and preventing Rick from killing himself was beautiful. Lot of great moments in this episode, by far one of the top ones this season.
I must say what they’re doing with the show is incredible, especially with how good the comics were now the animation is just as good or so far even better I am very excited to see where the series go. I just hope we start getting invincible like every one and a half years or even two years but any longer is gonna be a long time for the series to end and I want us all to be alive to see this Beautiful masterpiece
When Anissa popped out I was like is that Sasha Calle face but I think they model her but I could see Sasha Calle as Anissa in the live action Invincible movie if they do it.

I always pictured Anissa with a deeper voice. But the Meta animation sequence - hilarious! This was the best episode of this season.
That stylized look must be in reference to the final chapters of the comic, where the art style completely changes.
