The game looks amazing, but what I learned from the game called "The Day Before" is to never believe gameplay trailers. They look very ambitious but in reality it was an unfinished mess.
I don't think there's that many "days before"s out there to be this paranoid, maybe if this was a kickstarter, but this isn't my only worry is that Netease might try to shut it down after like a year or so...
The difference is that TDB was a game with years and years and studio name changes and all that. This is something we have seen raw gameplay leaked. And it's said to have a private beta in January.

Those few seconds of actual gameplay are not enough to convince me of anything. Can't say it's bad, can't say it's good. What I can say, that it was disappointing that those meagre combat snippets didn't even showcase a full combo, it was just a hit or two, and cut to a different scene. NTE at least wasn't afraid to showcase 13 min of pure gameplay in their first gameplay reveal trailer, with all the good stuff and potentially bad stuff.
lol so i'm sure you extremely hate dark souls type of games because you run out of breath by a few swing of your weapon and you can't even jump, no to mention unable to jump over a 10cm curb

If you noticed the MC is shown in different outfits, so I assume you can actually change his outfit in-game.
