I have been in the rave scene all my aldult life, i have a feeling the the "£12.000 Rolex' that was stolen was 12k worth of E's. Ive done many rolexes in my life and this will link the Drug and Rolex theory perfectly. Obviously if someone stole a batch of pills of you your not going to go to the police so saying 'Rolex' would be a nice little cover story.

Non of these conspiracy theories make sense. Someone says something and everyone runs off and add their bit. It’s boiling hot out here and he’s a young boy who was obviously on party drugs. He’s 19 on holiday, I doubt he’s taking drugs like that in weather like this before. Or even party drug on that many occasions if that makes sense. You know how dehydrated you have to be to call someone to tell them you’re dehydrated. The local women saw him walking the opposite direction of where the bus was supposed to be going… I’ve done it even today, I crossed the road to get the bus when I shouldn’t have as I was in the right side of the road in the first place, why, a combination of looking down at google maps on my phone but also because they drive on the opposite side of the road here. And I’ve been out here for a month so I should know better. I don’t know anything for sure but nothing else makes sense to me. Hope the family get the answers they need

I used to think the Spanish cops were just doing this by the book and were playing the long game, allowing the witnesses/suspects to trip themselves up with contradiction. Now I think they’re just incompetent and not really interested in solving this case.

You Need to take the back off, then you will know if replica watch or not.
@sambobrooklyn316 The new fakes are excellent quality watches in their own right. It's difficult for some experts to tell them apart even with the backs off. These watches are basically Rolexes that are not made by Rolex. The problem is if you take it to an accredited Rolex dealer to verify it they take the watch away from you if its deemed fake.

Re camera's many ccctv audio can easily pick up sounds 300yds away depends on the type and the volume of subject .Many are high sensitivity.
Also he could have been waiting for a bus ,then saw a car pull up at bnb ( maybe someone found were he was ,came to get watch ) jay sees car panics walks other way as fast as possible and maybe off road .just an idea ,like many others i guess .
If all this is true then I guess it would make sense for him to walk off road probably trying to avoid this 2 guys seeing him on the road if he was scared but still you don’t just walk off road in a place / country you don’t know & have no experience in mountains.. At least hide till it’s safe to ask for help instead they find a Scottish mountaineer who was lost & thought Jays search was for him till they told this Scottish guy they didn’t even know he was missing cos no one reported him missing but least someone was found in this strange case… Allergy Lucy has been travelling a lot to different countries she seems to stay 1month or 2 in these countries before she goes to the next so I can believe she’s selling

Why would he go back to the B&B where he stolen a 12k rolex? You'd avoid any place you have just stolen from, hence hes scared to go back.
The woman who seen him at the bus stop was the very last person to see him alive. Surely, that naturally makes her a suspect.

IMHO I think it is quite possible that by the time Jay was reported missing, and by the time the police turned up, Jay could’ve walked a lot further than everyone thinks.
Also, if we think back to the Dr.Mosley case, he was found 5days later and literally close by to all the shops etc, within reach of help, yet they never found him during the search, it took a local guy who came across his body by happen chance in an area that I believe hadn’t been searched because they were all looking where they believed Dr. Mosley would’ve walked to get back to his apartment.
This I think will be how Jay, sadly will be found. Just somebody local out and about will discover Jay and it will either be much further from where all the searching has been or in a cave off the track because Jay might’ve wanted to seek shelter from the heat!
Whilst it is my opinion that this is all there is to the case, there are a lot of aspects that appear to be very odd and weird, but at this moment, it’s all speculation and a bit of gossip that has yet to be proven as truth!

I personally think that Jay was doing all these crazy things to impress Lucy. In his hour of need he called her not his best mate not 1 of the lads but Lucy. Lucy felt so bad because she realised his feelings for her. Love alone can make people do strange things add drink and drugs and this is most likely to be a tragic ending.
Except its come out that she called him not him calling her, thats why I think she helped the airbnb guys find him, she already had connections with them. But yes I think she was successful at roping in young guys to help deal because they all probably fancied her, including Jay. These airbnb guys were serious big time though and Lucy was jetting from one country to another working for someone high up, shes not going to jepodise that for some kid like Jay.

The watch wasnt a 12 grand Rolex, there was a snap chat of him the 21.30hrs on the night before he went missing, saying he stole an AP from a Mali. (The Somalian street watch sellers), it was a fake and just bragging on social media that he ran away with it from the street sellers.
