In this video, I go NGHT DIVING and film a CRAZY octopus fight, many moray eels, spotted Eagle rays, and so much more! In one my my best adventures yet, I get to explore the underwater world after sunset. Things change DRASTICALLY once the sun sets; the small reef fish hide away while the larger predators come out to hunt. It's also the bets time to see Octopi, and boy, I filmed the encounter of a lifetime!
Belize is one of the premiere diving destinations planet Earth has to offer. Between the pristine coral reefs, insanely high populations of sharks, and biodiversity I knew this was a location I had to do a night dive at. I did this inside the Hot Chan Marine reserve, which is one of the most biodiverse underwater locations I've been to! I hope you all enjoy this adventure :)

There are actually 2 species of snapper in the video-a dog snapper (one of which is the one that tried to eat the octopus) and what appears to be the larger cubera snapper (the one that grabs a small fish towards the end and doesn’t have white tear marks under the eye)
