- The Stern Spotlight: Billy West special gave no background to Billys spot on impression of frequent guest Grampa Al Lewis of The Munsters and did not even identify the voice.Maybe it was a legal thing. Like almost all Billy charicters it was far from pc. If Billy were back to the show I doubt what you are hearing here would be allowed.People who are tired of hearing that the old shows were so great have to understand this was a typical newscast, every newscast was this funny. Oct 31st was the second to last show of the Billy West era and was aired on Mastertape theatre as requested by guess who? Cpuss recorded that Mastertape theatre and has a condensed version of this. Also look for The news of Nov 1st 1995 ,Billys last newscast,on my channel if you want the full last Billy newscast and not a condensed one. I made it a point to record every day July thru Nov 1995 because I was convinced that if Stern was re-signed, Billys offer from Infinity would be a typical Tom Cheapasono joke that would have Billy walk from the show and work in LA. How sad that I was right.
I realize this video was posted awhile ago, but still couldn't pass on the chance to say how great (fun) it is to go back in time and listen to an old H.S. show newscast. As a huge fan, I was so disappointed upon the realization that I was not in a position (financial position) to make the jump from "terrestrial" radio to Sirius. I listened to the show religiously back then, often finding myself late for my first class of the day when I was in college... all because I couldn't pry myself away from my car radio, for fear I'd miss something important or at the very least, or something hysterical that day. ,
StrnFn9099 Lol... and F Timmy!
+liz326522 dude, you really were better off remembering the show as it was, bc it went downhill FAST when it hit sirius. I saved for that stupid $400 setup, plus the subscription fee...and all the bullshit about the $600 million dollar jew getting "his" tapes back...and he won't even play them bc marci turk says they're not PC enough!
StrnFn9099 You're right. I would have had a similar collection of tapes, but could never get the stereo to VCR A/V cable right. And there was no "YT" back then (early 90s when I was in 4th or 5th grade and trying to do it), so I was screwed. I'm waiting for the guy who runs "MArksFriggen" to put his tapes up, bc he must have a collection of literally every show since the 80s bc I know for a fact he saves them.
StrnFn9099 Yeah, I started with the channel 9 show when I was..prob. around 8 bc my parents refused to get cable (only kid in my school w.o. cable) so nothing else on at 11pm on Sat nights. How I discovered the show. If we had today's tech back then, I'd have been f--ked bc I'd have founded a way to listen in school.
Didn't some ppl have color TV before then? Guess it's like HDTV or 4k now, more ppl get it as price goes down. I know, not meant to hear whole thing but esp. if I knew gilbert was coming or something....one thing driving me crazy, do you recall the bit "hill street jews" during the crown heights riots? Use to be on YT, had it on an old ipod yrs ago, now lost and can't find on YT. HAs been driving me nuts trying to find it.
Just finding your stern content and i dig it. Just thought you'd like to know.😂
Billy’s penultimate show. Last show was 11/1/95.
Did anybody ever look up what happened to the drunk guy on the plane? I did couple years ago. I actually found his obituary. He died maybe 10 years ago. There were all these things about him being a respectable businessman. He served in the Air Force in the 70s. They should've added "you may also know him as a guy who defecated on an airline catering trolley". :D
Haha, poor guy. Lives on in infamy for one drunken episode that led him to one really bad choice.
liz326522 Nah, old fools such as he leave a trail of pain and suffering behind them.
Lina K you're amazing
haahahaahhahhah
Lina K what? U never got drunk and shit all over a plane? Give the guy a break lol
“yeah yeah…” Billy West killed it
I miss this Howard and I wasn’t born until 1993
1994- 2009 - Best radio there ever was
I'd go as early as 1990-91
Thank you for this. Howard's "I would LOVE to" at 12:57 made me snort-laugh. I needed that
When life was fun
Thanks for the show Martini!
When you knock on a Frenchman‘s door for trick or treat, they surrender.
One show it was 1995 1996 i laughed so hard i had to pull over and threw up. He was so awesome back then
it wasn't him. It was Jackie
I remember laughing until I cried when Dice and Jackie went at it over the phone.
This is probably the best clip ever. Tom Foos.
+martinshot I like the info in the description. It's nice to see someone posting their own material instead of stealing it from someone else, and, your sixth sense about Billy possibly leaving does make this even better. I just found your channel, glad I did. Thank you.
Imagine Hamptons Howie saying today what he's saying at 21:15 now.
Imagine you saying what you said 25 years ago, wouldn't you be embarrassed with yourself too?
@@july1730 ..Not if you are consistent and have any integrity, you moron.
@@pretorious700 lol look at the old man trying to wave his hands in the air claiming "integrity" is the ability to maintain the same opinion for decades without any growth mentally or emotionally.
@@july1730 Just fly away please. Your kind is not welcome here.
@@sweetrobertos did your father teach you to throw tantrums on the internet about celebrities you've never met or is that a failure you developed thanks to your mother? Again, you're trying to assert your life has any valuable meaning to it when this is what you have to show for it.. anonymously hating Howard Stern on a small part of the internet.
I forgive you. To be at such an advanced age as yourself and to spend the last grains of sand so pointlessly, well it sexually arouses me but I imagine it would make anyone who has ever cared about you quite sad to see how you spent your life.
When Stern was the funniest ! Tops ! Highest quality and the channel 9
Show epic
I'm loving your clips. Definitely a great listen, though kinda sad to hear the final days of the brilliance of Billy West.
please upload more of grandpa al @martinishot
Miss these days.
Wow, Howard called it. 20:25, "I look in your eyes and I see an impacted bowel"
Jackys laugh once again made me spit beer outta my nose!
Jackie's laugh makes all the difference..
It happens.
(Jackie Laugh)
36:30 - grandpa'
43:00 -- grandpa going off...
Victor Cotto thank you!
Thank you so much for uploading this!!!!!
I got in trouble twice listening to him at work with Howard saying the N word
Happy Swalloween yeah...bottoms up.. yeah LMAO😂
Thank you for the ramble.
And the upload.
The best part of the show!

This video shows Jackie at his best, but I can't listen to more than five minutes of his 'Joke Hunt' show.
Billy. Billy jus killing
"Old Mo." Rofl fuck I lose it everytime Billy say's that.
It didn't even take 50 or 60 years for that to happen to the United States and he is right about us and english
Howard now is singing a different tune on immigration.

millenial punk
I enjoy your content.
Back when things were funny.. And Howard ruled
Maybe you're just depressed. There's help out there for you.
so does stern and friends still feel the same about immigration and learning our language?
It was a show kid, and the US does not have an official language
@@Peopleofthesun386 Do this then brainiac...start a company where no one is required to speak English...but they can speak Spanish, French, Italian, German, Danish, Russian, Dutch, Greek, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Polish, Arabic, Swedish, Chinese and many other languages where no one can communicate or understand each other...but they can say and do whatever they want...and also create their own little cliques and subsets that only help their own...and see how successful that company will be...that's where this country is headed with the "no official language" bullshit

Any time they bring up John wayne bobbit I wince and cringe I couldn't imagine living through that

+martinshot - I've always wondered, how did guys tape this much of the show back in 1995? I was in 6th or 7th grade, and before I'd leave for school, I'd hit record so that I''d get like 45 minutes? Really was no internet then, but I used to hear rumors about running a single a/V cable from the stereo to the VCR. Is that how you did it? Wouldn't have helped me bc I had no stereo.
+Robert Adams The legends are true. In 1989 at the same time I started listening to the show I also had decided my VCR did not have good enough video recording quality. So when I upgraded to a better VCR, I found an amazing use for my old machine. The cool part was I discovered it had an audio only recording feature. That let me record a full 6 hours on a tape using the RCA left and right aux imput jacks with the cables coming from my boom box next to it. So by setting the programming to record 6 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday and having an old school type timer to turn on and off my boombox I had worry free recording all week, just changing the tape every night. I bought the cheap $1 per tape VHS whenever it was on sale for that price. Later I was able to find other peoples mp3s for 1985 through 1988 and also to fill in the dates I missed for some reason.
+martinishot Awesome man, you had more ingenuity than I did at that age! You know, I bet the dude who runs "MArk's Friggen" MUST have thousands of hours of tape from the late 80s and1990s. I know bc for a time in the l 90s, I used to fax (and then email)l Stern a lot, and for whatever reason they liked my stuff and would almost always read it on air. For $20, if I emailed Mark and told him the day and described the email or Fax, he'd go back, find the thing I wanted, and then send me the clip on Mpg. I REALLY wish that dude would somehow find a way to leak his collection onto the net. I know he'd have to do it quietly to keep getting sued by Wiggy, but I'd chip in $500 cash for him to dump all his tapes onto pirates bay. If we could somehow get a bunch of other dudes to donate $500 too, and do it all on the down low. Anyway, amazing how you figured out wit the VCR. And, yu know, in 1996 I paid...I think $360 for my VCR, and it was literally like THE most expensive VCR you could buy at the time (you could program in the numbers of a show from TV guide and it would tape the show or movie for you). My VCR MUST have an an option like that. If I' d had enough money left to buy a stereo!
+martinishot Lol, and you know man, kids today don't realize how lucky they are! I would have literally given my left nut to have been able to come home from my misery at school and had the entire show to listen to! I mean, the show sucks now so doesn't really matter, but christ, what I would have done if they had the tech back then to be able to record the stern show or to listen to it "on demand." Thank god for guys like you who WERE able to figure out how to n--ger rig their VCRs to their radios and these tapes so we have them now. We know wiggy wig ain't ever going to let these tapes see daylight again bc they are ver "Un-PC," and marci turk wouldn't like it. Thanks again bro.
+Robert Adams I used to run the audio from my receiver to my vcr and recorded the whole show on slowest tape speed. No video just static but clear audio. I recorded over it every day so I don't have any of them.
+Robert Adams I just saw the other replies. Im kinda late to that party it seems.
Anyone know the context of Howard speaking too close to the mic? It cracks me up every time he does it.
It’s from Gina man - ruclips.net/video/l0EWHEpwAUE/видео.html

Who could have imagined Howard accurately predicting the future at 20:50?
His other prediction that Trump and his cult followers will destroy our democracy is also coming true.
Anyone know the name of that riff that starts at 26:33 ?
That story about the dude that took a sh.. on the plane reeks of Artie. Pretty sure that was him 😂😅
Funneh was born on that day 😱
robin said you cant plead the 5thin court lol
26:40 gerard lolol
2:42 would have been a perfect time for Billy to do a Jackie sound.
This is the day before Billy West resigned. #11-1-95
that would be November 1st and that is on my channel.
Howard was on point around the 21 minute mark. Too bad he did a complete 180.
Don't fret. You still have Hitler as a poster boy.

OJ might be released October 2017. How long until he's back in jail?
within a year, in court he would whistle "If I only had a brain" How painfully appropriate
So far as of October 13, 2019 I don’t think he’s been back to jail yet.
I agree with Howard 100% about illegal immigration!!!
Gay Christmas!!

Good point.
