The best things to do in Newport, Rhode Island

These are the best things to do in @discovernewport ❤️
1. Walk and shop along historic Thames Street and Bannisters Wharf. There are tons of adorable boutique shops, restaurants, and bars here.
2. Eat! We talked to locals and they told us some of the best restaurants in Newport. They are @clarkecookehouse, @theblackpearlrestaurant, and @mooringrestaurant.
3. Take a sunset sail with @classicharborline. This company is one of my favorites in NYC and they also do sails in Newport along the Atlantic Ocean. ⛵️
4. Get dessert @newport_sticks_and_cones and enjoy the ocean views!
This is what we did in one day but don’t forget to head to their beaches or do any of the below:
- Visit the famous mansions (The Breakers, The Elms, or Marble House).
- Ocean Drive: 10 miles of commanding coastline meets one winding road.
- Cliff Walk: Newport's 3.5-mile Cliff Walk. It's where salt air and crashing waves collides with the awe of Gilded Age architecture.
