  • Wally Hanson performing an original trumpet fanfare written for a local Las Vegas school medieval fare. The retro picture is from Madrigal Dinners at Northern Illinois University in December of 1971.
    Where's Waldo? The other trumpet players are Glenn Erickson and the late, Paul Busija.

      That is such a great memory! We got paid pretty good money and a free meal every evening during the Madrigal Dinners at Northern Illinois University while attending there.

      Ha…yes indeed. My Grandmother was from Cheltenham, England and barely missed coming over to the US on the Titanic. Her funds sent by her dad arrived late. Whew!!!

      Just a quick improvised fanfare without writing it down...it was for a Medieval Dinner held in Las Vegas, NV.
