Louie is quite possibly the cutest puppy on the planet! I have to imagine it's impossible to go from point A to point B without a dozen people stopping and wanting to pet him! 🥰
Louie is the cutest thing ever. Travel tip for Florida if you don't already know Wawa gas stations have a fresh deli inside great quick spot for a fresh lunch. Plus the Tire Air pumps are free. Great place to make sure your riding on the right pressure.
I am so happy for you guys to get a Basenji. You have one of the best dogs out there. I had a Basenji and he was my baby no matter how you look at it. Congratulations and enjoy him. They are so cool of a dog you just do not know everything they do is an adventure and they can see the same thing 1 million times and look at it differently. They are such an adventure. They are great dogs.❤😊🎉❤❤❤❤
Hey Guys, we've been watching your channel for a while now and we've enjoyed watching BUT since you guys got Louie, WOW! We just got our GD Momentum 395MS-R yesterday and are preparing to go full-time ourselves. That little guy is melting our hearts. Pete
4 most important commands on Louie... Whoa, stay, sit and come.... Whoa could save his life around traffic/ roads. Fetch is for fun and exercise,,,, tennis balls, frisbees and such.... Good luck with the little furbaby..... he's a cutie!!
We’ve enjoyed your channel for some time now. Love the addition of Louie, and watching him learn and grow. Our puppy just turned 6 months old. She loves to travel too!
Hi Guys, domestic critters are such a great gift to humanity. Those like cats and dogs that accept us as family with affection for us are so easy and a joy to love. Glad Louie fitting in to RV life. Take care, safe travels.
Love to see you two(three) still traveling, with all my other favorite channels stopping and building homes 🙄 …I still have cool RVers to follow! Thank you!!
Just want to endorse your keeping Louie in his pen during puppyhood. Years ago I had a golden retriever pup and didn’t do that. She destroyed phone wires, couch cushions etc. I consulted a trainer and he said create a pen. Not only does it keep him from destruction mode, it also calms them down; they aren’t as crazed. Of course the crazy behavior has to be drained-outdoors. You guys have that covered. Loved seeing Santa Fe, it’s one of my favorite places on earth. Haven’t been there in years but it was great to see it through your eyes.
I was at the Grand Canyon Fire Road 688 about a week after you! It had dried out, the weather was perfect and it was a great spot for a visit to the canyon. Loved it, but I would have been excited to see you!
Little Louie is settling into life on the road, he will be the most well-rounded road hound in no time. Traveling with a dog I always felt like you have to plan ahead, can the dog come with us or in there. But so many places are dog friendly now that it's not hard to adapt your plans and bring a puppy along. Travels are better with a four-leg friend, and I must say you two are glowing with love for Louie.
Added note people should always ask before approaching petting and feeding someone else pet. FYI reenforce commands- sit -good sit, stay -good stay. Come-Good come so he knows what he is being good for.Hand signals and whistles with the commands so he can learn those at the same time. Love him !❤️
Slides can be a nightmare. My current trailer is the first I had with a slide. Mine is next to the pantry and kitchen. Once I didn't check, and a kitchen drawer had come open on the road. The slide was just about to rip it off before I noticed it. Another time I forgot to push back the TV and it pushed it in for me when I brought the slide in. No damage either time, but I really check it well now.
My basenji I have tons of chew toys for they are big chewers especially when they are young. I never had to cage him he prefers his chew toys to furniture. Antlers are one of his favourite chew toy. He digs his bedding and goes in circles which is normal for basenjis. There is tough materials for bed options for this reason.
My hometown is Las Cruces New Mexico and my brother and his wife andsons live in Santa Fe New Mexico. My dad is originally from Missouri and my mom is from Oklahoma. They have an Air Stream Bambi trailer and just got a 2021 Dodge Ram Laramie 4×4 Club Cab with a bed liner and a center front console that folds down to a jump seat my nephews could sit in to seat 6.
I just stumbled upon your recipe for marinaded flank steak. Made it on Monday. IT IS AWESOME!!! I cooked it on the barbque instead of a frying pan. Having left overs on salad today. Great recipe. Thanks!!
Appreciate the vid; how i wish they would design these TT's with the dinette on the camp-side: Our previous TT had a deep dinette slide with a huge window as you have. And we loved it; yet far to many times your seeing your nieghbors dumb lol Our new TT Grand Design 22mle has the dinette on the camp-Side and kitchen in the rear with two small windows. Although your TT by Outdoors is a great rig for your excursions. All these TT's have compromise .
Hello Chris and Aaron! Thank you for sharing another awesome video! Your security review was great. It is sad that we even have to think about that stuff. Louie continues to grow into a fun, adventure pup! What a grand life he has with you two ❤️! Safe travels!
One little tip, grease the towing ball on your truck, makes it turn so GOOD Also, cut a tennis ball and place over it when not hooked up, it will save your shins when you walk by it !!!
Good quality lock glad to see your using it. If you'd like to add another level of security remove the safety chains. Thieves can use the chains to take the trailer in spite of the tongue lock. Something I neglected to mention is you DO NOT want to remove safety chains permanently!! You would cut the link that connect to your trailer and then get a heavy duty "quick link" that allows you to remove chains or put them back on.I would never suggest removin safety chains that's not a smart move!
You guys drove right past us to get to Santa fe. That burrito looks killer. Living in NM I've had my share of green chili burgers and burritos too. lol. Little Louie is getting bigger. Will you call him Big Louie at some point? lol
Nice boondocking spot. That black residue on your hitch ball is metal to metal wear. If you want your trailer hitch to last it needs some kind of lubricant.
Hi Guys, my understanding with the Anderson Hitch is never grease the ball :) not needed because it doesn't pivot on the ball when the chains are connected!
Hello! Yes, no grease should be applied to the ball, but I think the transport company greased the coupler when they moved our unit and it was really sticky at first. Its gotten much better after cleaning it out!
Hello Watch all the time. Lucky you for finding adorable Louie. He needs chew bones, pigs ears , chew type treats while in pen. Life savers. Try tractor supply for dog chewing goodies. Happy trails!
How's your ankle Aaron? Are you able to drive yet? Louie is doing good. Just a suggestion. Make sure Louie got all his shots before going to dog parks and playing with other dogs. Don't want him getting provo.
It’s getting much better and I can drive now…. But it still swells…. Slow healing for sure. Yes we have Louie vacs with 4 shots… he had 3 at that time. Very important indeed!😊
Really like your videos. We used to have a 2021 24rls Outdoor rv trailer. Sure hope you're putting a lock on your hitch so nobody takes off with your trailer.
Great video! I love your channels. Question: Would you have any comments and/or information for us on your experience driving in the open windswept Midwest while pulling a travel trailer? Any problems/cautions for us concerning the constant winds battering your truck and trailer while driving?
Thanks! We try to avoid driving in high wind if possible or at least staying off the highways and driving much slower. A good anti sway hitch ( we have the Andersen) makes a huge difference we find as well. Our truck is pretty heavy duty and pulls our smaller trailer well. We haven’t had any problems yet and have only been in around 30-40 mph winds. I know it can get crazy in some areas and can only say avoid driving if possible and if not… drive slow! 😊
I had a experience of driving from Vegas to Mojave with crazy wind... 40+ mph... I was Blessed to have a heavy truck 2500 ram... Tools and a bulk tank..90 gal plus hoists and hand tools and grips... Line work tools... IBEW... Travel trailer probably pushing max... I travel with water in fresh water and run it at 65... Even in the deep state of Ca.. My mpg was hideous ...12 mpg but had a head wind most of the time. Normally around 18 to 20 empty. Just be aware when a wind block passes you... Big truck or other camper, it will make you move in your lane.
Hi guys. New subscriber here. Great videos. If you keep having trouble getting your hitch off the ball, you may be incorrectly disengaging your safety lock on the ball hitch. I was for my first few trips with a new to me trailer. I was incorrectly doing it until a friend watched me. There are videos on it. Every hitch is a little different. Safe travels.
Looks like Louie is doing well training you two! Any thoughts to giving up the pop-up tent on the truck. I don't recall that you have used it since you got the trailer. Don't forget to put it up and air it out once in awhile. Happy trails and be safe!
Are you planning on training Louie to strut along as you ride your ebikes? Maybe put him in a basket if he gets tired and then he can run alongside again.
Hi Rebecca! I should have expanded a bit on the cameras. There is a free version that will alert your phone of movement or sound and record for about 10 seconds to the cloud. But then it won't record again for 5 minutes. To get the full non stop recording it is about $15 a year... They also have SD card slot for local recording.
Just to let u know that Louie has stolen and taken over your channel..... he is sooooooooo cute!!! I love him!!! Cant wait to see his personality develop.... please give him lots of hugs and kisses from me.
How much solar do you recommend for a 35 foot trailer? We have one panel that comes with it for our 12v fridge but that’s just for the fridge. We want to have the dealer beef it up before we buy it so we t put it into our loan.
Solar needs are very dependent on your overall energy needs. Just a 12v fridge will run full time off 200ish watts of solar and some good batteries. We lived full time for 2.5 years off 300 watts of solar and 400 ah of lithium batteries. We now have 1200 watts of solar and 810 ah of lithium and it’s beyond amazing.
Hello! I was just getting ready to do a 1 month update on it! I have mixed emotions about it...... The price is going up for roaming ($25 per month) and trees are a BIG problem! But it's awesome when it works and we need it a different carrier!
Is Louis THIRSTY? I never see any water in his pen. Seems like he would need to have a water dish available whenever he needs to drink, especially in these drier climates. On a more positive note, I really love your channel and look forward to seeing more cooking videos on your newest channel. I miss the Irene Iron Fitness videos where Chris shows us how to cook healthy even in a small RV space.
Hello! 😊 Of course Louie has water available! As a puppy it is common practice to give them food and water And then remove from the pen/crate so it’s not spilled over by play. As he gets older he now has a water dish as he doesn’t spill it. Thanks for checking out the new channel!
I founded they will not chew on things like cabinet corners things of that nature if you put hot sauce on it they’ll touch it one time and that’s it. Leave it on there for about a month it wipes right off with with with fantastic and it is birthday, but the first time they do it, they might go back a second but I guarantee they’ll never do it again Basenji’s are a different breed of dog. They are matched with a little bit of wild. It will a lot more than just a little bit but they’re also domesticated and they could be a little gnarly at times but I’m telling you you guys have the best watchdog the best cuddler the sweetest animal on the face of this earth. I loved my dog he went everywhere with me. It didn’t matter if it was to the beach to wherever they say the Cincy‘s do not like water it’s something that’s born in them because they come from the Congo in Africa and it’s something that is born in them and I guarantee you if that dog loves you as much as I know, minded me, he will follow you and swim with you. He is not gonna look twice about what’s in that water. He’s going to think about being with his owners. You have the best dog out there. Congratulations. I am so happy for you. My Basenji was black and white and his name was rain. I called him Mr. rain Williams he was a humdinger oh I could I it killed me one when he passed away but I had him for 14 years and I just I rescued a few other dogs but I just can’t go back and get another one because of the closeness I had with mine, and I pray that you all have such a wonderful wonderful aventures it with this dog you just do not know they are really the coolest animals you will ever see and they also mimic believe me I had a job I had my own business and I was landscaping, and whenever the dog would watch me dig up weeds a little guy with smell what I was digging up and he would dig it up put it in his mouth and he would carry it to the pile that I was putting a bit before I could put it into the wheelbarrow to take it to the burning that he was something else. Who is the beautiful animals. Oh congratulations and I can’t wait I am going to follow you guys with this dog I am I this is gonna be a wonderful adventure for me. Thank you me thank you
Louis at the dog park made me nostalgic. We trained our 7 year old Boykin spaniel the command "come " in exactly the same way-dog park, ball, arms wide open. Good times!
Only thing I see you did wrong woman driving LOL have a great time God Bless be careful with the dog parks especially when young some people are not good parents which could effect Sweet Lou for his life
We’ve been using bully sticks and nyalone bones so far and he really seems likes them. I remember our dogs going up always had rawhide bones with no problems. But yes it seems a lot of people now don’t like it!
True….NEVER feed them from the table or right after you guys are done eating and he will not get into the habit of begging. We have not fed our dogs from the table and they never begged.
Why couldn't nature make people more like dogs in the pooping dept? I've never seen a dog, or any animal for that matter, need to use Charmin or Cottonelle or Sam's Choice .

🤣 yes. He does get A LOT of attention! 😊🐶
Oh my goodness, when Louie cocked his head at the end we both just lost it. How adorable!!!
Louie is the cutest thing ever. Travel tip for Florida if you don't already know Wawa gas stations have a fresh deli inside great quick spot for a fresh lunch. Plus the Tire Air pumps are free. Great place to make sure your riding on the right pressure.
Thanks! We have never been to a Wawa!
Catching up with videos . With so much going on I have been glued to current events. Louie is adorable!

Hey Guys, we've been watching your channel for a while now and we've enjoyed watching BUT since you guys got Louie, WOW!

4 most important commands on Louie...
Whoa, stay, sit and come.... Whoa could save his life around traffic/ roads. Fetch is for fun and exercise,,,, tennis balls, frisbees and such.... Good luck with the little furbaby..... he's a cutie!!
From a Staples Employee-love you guys and the "easy" button!!!!! Safe travels......

Louie is the cutest guard dog!
🤣 Thanks! He's still working on the guard dog part🤣
awwww Louie at the dog park! .... I'm so in love with your pup! 💕
Sooo cute! It’s fun to watch him grow up😊
Great to see Aaron walking so smoothly.
Yes thank you! Its still healing..but can walk normal at least!
Thank you for visiting New Mexico.
Louie is doing great. The sit was impressive - but the recall/come was even more impressive. Good job with him!
Louie is awesome! Love the channel
We’ve enjoyed your channel for some time now. Love the addition of Louie, and watching him learn and grow. Our puppy just turned 6 months old. She loves to travel too!
Thank you for watching! And say hi to your pup!😊🐾
Hi Guys, domestic critters are such a great gift to humanity. Those like cats and dogs that accept us as family with affection for us are so easy and a joy to love. Glad Louie fitting in to RV life. Take care, safe travels.
Hey Bill, thanks!
You guys are doing a GREAT job with Louie. Keep living the dream and stay safe!
God bless you always.
Thank you! Will do!
Love to see you two(three) still traveling, with all my other favorite channels stopping and building homes 🙄 …I still have cool RVers to follow! Thank you!!
Appreciate you watching! 😊
Very cool! Would have been fun to say hi! 😊
So great to watch the two of you interact with Louie, and teach him what he needs to learn.... Love it!
Added note people should always ask before approaching petting and feeding someone else pet. FYI reenforce commands- sit -good sit, stay -good stay. Come-Good come so he knows what he is being good for.Hand signals and whistles with the commands so he can learn those at the same time. Love him !❤️
Good advice!!😊
Slides can be a nightmare. My current trailer is the first I had with a slide. Mine is next to the pantry and kitchen. Once I didn't check, and a kitchen drawer had come open on the road. The slide was just about to rip it off before I noticed it. Another time I forgot to push back the TV and it pushed it in for me when I brought the slide in. No damage either time, but I really check it well now.
Oh my! 😳
Louie and Lamb Chop! Best of friends like Winnie and Lamb Chop!
Yessss!! 🐶🐑🤭
That is a nice farmer’s market. Those greens looked delish! We love the farmer’s market in Madison Wisconsin
Thanks Joyce! We'll have to try and hit the Madison one some day!
Soft puppy treats for recall works wonders..he is so cute
We're working on it, thanks!😊
My basenji I have tons of chew toys for they are big chewers especially when they are young. I never had to cage him he prefers his chew toys to furniture. Antlers are one of his favourite chew toy. He digs his bedding and goes in circles which is normal for basenjis. There is tough materials for bed options for this reason.
In other areas they call it Flea Market, Swap Meet, etc...but definitely sounds better with Farmer's market
Make sure you do the margarita trail in Santa Fe…
We’ve already left the area but we’ll write that one down. Thanks! 😊
I just stumbled upon your recipe for marinaded flank steak. Made it on Monday. IT IS AWESOME!!! I cooked it on the barbque instead of a frying pan. Having left overs on salad today. Great recipe. Thanks!!

Thanks Larry!! BS&BK 😊😊
Hello Chris and Aaron! Thank you for sharing another awesome video! Your security review was great. It is sad that we even have to think about that stuff. Louie continues to grow into a fun, adventure pup! What a grand life he has with you two ❤️!
Safe travels!
Hey Alan! Yes too bad for sure…. But I think for the most part it’s pretty safe out there. Can’t live our lives hiding at home!
Louie and our Maxi would have so much fun together, he is so darn cute and smart❤️🐶❤️
I bet! He loves other dogs so much!
One little tip, grease the towing ball on your truck, makes it turn so GOOD
Also, cut a tennis ball and place over it when not hooked up, it will save your shins when you walk by it !!!
Just purchased the same hitch lock. Expensive but so is our ORV.
crazy! we watch you regularly, and that’s our dog park! we are there every day! it usually gets going about 5pm, sorry we missed you guys.
Ohhhh that’s awesome! Too bad we missed you…. Would have been a fun little meet up😊
Santa Fe has a Rodeo arena you can camp at, full hookups, $25 a night.
Being from Salida thanks for the shout out. Let me know when you guys are back in the area. We’ll go get a beer.
👍🍺🍺 beautiful area for sure! Thanks!
so beautiful, I hope I can travel soon

I hope you made it to the first Christian church in the US and saw the staircase! Shopping on the Plaza is a good time too.
Good video 😀 great 🐕 Louie

Yeah...not the ideal time to go!😊🤣
I thought for sure Louie would wake up when the food came. Good boy.
Yeah it sure does make it nice around meal time. Hope it stays that way😊
You are such great dog parents!
Thank you!! 🙏
You might also consider x-chocks with a lock.
Louie is getting cuter by the day!

Hey there 👋 thanks for tip… we’ll look into it!😊
What breed is Louie? he's adorable!
Thank you! He is a Basenji😊
Chris , love your accent! Where are you from?
Thanks! Around the Minneapolis Minnesota Area😊
That IPA looked pretty good🍻
It was a good NM IPA! We love to try local🍻
Looks like Louie is doing well training you two! Any thoughts to giving up the pop-up tent on the truck. I don't recall that you have used it since you got the trailer. Don't forget to put it up and air it out once in awhile. Happy trails and be safe!
Thanks Mike! Yes, I think we are finally ready to let the tent go!😂
Louie the doggo wants nothing else but to travel out of the cage!!!! He’s a good doggie!!!
🐶🐶🐶
Louis is so cute ☺️
😊🙏🐶
Are you planning on training Louie to strut along as you ride your ebikes? Maybe put him in a basket if he gets tired and then he can run alongside again.
Yes! 😊 We just got a Rad pet carrier basket that we are trying for him to use! When he gets bigger hopefully he'll like running alongside the e bikes!
Do you have a monitoring service subscription to alert you about activity on your cameras?
Hi Rebecca! I should have expanded a bit on the cameras. There is a free version that will alert your phone of movement or sound and record for about 10 seconds to the cloud. But then it won't record again for 5 minutes. To get the full non stop recording it is about $15 a year... They also have SD card slot for local recording.
What do you like to get around Costco?
Meat, veggies, protein powder, almond milk, cooking oils, rice, eggs, bubbly water, etc…
Just to let u know that Louie has stolen and taken over your channel..... he is sooooooooo cute!!!
I love him!!! Cant wait to see his personality develop.... please give him lots of hugs and kisses from me.
Thank you!!!! And for sure lots of hugs and kisses!!😊😊
Louie is going to be a great dog.
We hope so! Thanks Ron! 😊
Great video. Maybe time to check out my waggle for the RV and Louie. Maybe a sponsor/promotion???
Yes, we’ll look into Waggle, thanks Kathy!
How is the Starlink working out for you guys?
Good times!
Ahhh great memories!!
How did Louie get even cuter??! 🐶🥰
🤣 It's his special power!🤣
Has Louie figured out his jane Fonda calisthenics yet???? Left leg up..... Right leg up..... repeat repeat repeat!!!!!
🤣He hasn't😊 Still squatting!
Why is the dog always in a cage?
He’s a puppy! 😊
Free louie!! Free louie!!!! Free Louie !!!!!!!free Louie!!!!!!
🙌🙌🙌
Hi! You may have meant to put "Experience" in the title, instead of 'Experiance' ;D
Hello!👋 Yes and Thank you!!!😊🤣
I have a shovel.... ill bury the poop when we get going on our rv adventure
That might not have been dog poo, there are coyotes in the area.
True!
Yeah, I’m really scurd of Louie 😂
Terrifying isn't he!🤣🐶
👍🐕
👍👍👍😃
Ohhhh 4 today! 😊🙌🐕🌄
Only thing I see you did wrong woman driving LOL have a great time God Bless be careful with the dog parks especially when young some people are not good parents which could effect Sweet Lou for his life
He needs something to chew while he's in there. People dump on rawhide, but I swear by it. I've used it for all of my dogs without any problems.
We’ve been using bully sticks and nyalone bones so far and he really seems likes them. I remember our dogs going up always had rawhide bones with no problems. But yes it seems a lot of people now don’t like it!
@@IreneIronTravels Nylabones are great too!
If i feed my doberman rawhide its a 💩show for about 2 days with diarrhea lol.. it doesn't seem to bother my other dogs tho 🤷♂️
True….NEVER feed them from the table or right after you guys are done eating and he will not get into the habit of begging. We have not fed our dogs from the table and they never begged.
Well we know who the house wife is
🤣
Excellent video!! Can I also contact you for a business collaboration, I'm a seller selling power stations and solar panels.
Thank you! Yes, feel free to reach out at IreneIronFitness@gmail.com
Why couldn't nature make people more like dogs in the pooping dept? I've never seen a dog, or any animal for that matter, need to use Charmin or Cottonelle or Sam's Choice .
Get rid of the dog! :-) ....
Remember sniffing is a workout too for your baby.
Yes for sure! He loves to do that for sure! Sight hound and scent hound! 😊 thanks Kristin!
