    That is the most obscure fruit I’ve ever seen. Well, at least now I know what Achachairu is. I mostly eat avocados and mangos and sapodilla. I even tried an avocado ice cream recently.

      If my wife asks for a divorce and wants to keep the house, she will have to take the house with her. It’s cheaper than me taking the trees.

      I have three trees that are over 7 ft tall. The tallest is 10-12 ft tall. No fruit yet 🤞

      @@jeffery8928 they said theirs took about 9-10 years and the first fruiting which was last year was a little light...this year it took off.

    Tom is the real deal. he personally delivered our order of avocados when there was a mix up with the shipping address. he takes tremendous pride in what he does and it definitely shows! he has a customer for life!!

    So this guy has eaten and grown Avocado, Mango, Starfruit, Pineapple, Banana, Monstera Deliciosa, Passionfruit, Mamey, Sapodila, Chico, Nispero, Nasaberry, Dragonfruit, Lychees, Mulberry, Black Sapote… and now Achachairu? I’m speechless

    The first time i met this channel(around 1-1.5 years ago). i can remember drinking a good Hertog-Jan beer. And Realizing that fortunately, there are still Passionate farmers! Thank you! You are a true hero for our world! Unfortunately, people(especially the youth)start to forget about the simplicity and beauty of growing your own food. As the true hero you are, you are spreading the Beauty of this! Thank you! I always enjoy your content so much! Especially because it makes me Ambitious about what I may become later. I am currently studying farming. Obviously my ambition tells me to have my own farm later. Who knows! But surely i will be prepared with the information that you shared with us! Thank you!

    Interesting, Achachairu originated in Bolivia, hangs around with kangaroos 🦘 and humongous spiders 🕷where it’s also mass produced and is now grown where there’s almost always a hurricane when you least suspect it. Got it.

    I should be able to watch the stream tomorrow. Since I'm 7 hours ahead, it'll be 8 p.m when you start streaming. I might be hanging out with my friends at this time, but by 9 p.m. or 2 p.m where you are, I should be home to start watching the stream.

      it's mostly grown in Bolivia and some people have backyard trees around here but Mayra is the only one I know with fruiting trees. it's delicious.

    These are amazing, and more cool tolerant than it's other, more exotic relatives. I have a couple large trees that I've been taking care of in hopes of fruit one day. The water infusion is tasty and refreshing as well! Thank you for sharing.

      @@SleepyLizard I started a seedling about six or seven years ago, and I purchased two grafted trees in early 2021. They're all about six feet tall from the soil line. I can't wait, they are a real treat! Did you get yourself a plant?

    That looks like a type of rambutan without the hairs on the shell. Interesting. I ate lots of rambutan in Costa Rica, where it's called "mamón chino" or Chinese sucker, and I don't have a clue why. In Guatemala they call it peluta, I just asked my Guatemalan buddy that's working with me. If that fruit in the video tastes like rambutan it's pretty good. They remind me of green grapes but firmer.

    I was planing to plant a Achachairú because I already have few Mangosteen trees and I wanted to have a Achachairú but after tasting Achachairú I do not want to plant Achachairú anymore. For me mangosteen taste way better.

    One thing i want to ask i have grown one mango seed and it has produced two plants. Is it a polyembryonic or monoembryonic only and only two plants are there . The mango 🥭 variety is SENSATION
