    I'm head over heels in love with this shawl. The drop stitches, the fringe, THE BEADS!!! I have to get the Drift done, before my yarn comes!!! I have tons of beads, but the right colors? Maybe... I'm so thrilled to make this shawl! Thank you, Chandi and Monica. She's amazing! And so are you so and have an the loveliest of lovely days!!!

    I never realized adding beads is would be so easy! I have to try that. I'm thinking the actual knit shawl is beyond my skill level for now, but I always seem to learn something new from your videos. Thank You!

    It's So delighful to wake up to your videos. You and Tim put a smile on my face early in the morning 😃. I have never seen you show us something that I didn't like 🤗 I wiah I could knit faster because I would have every shawl and sweater that you have ever showed us. Because of you I have put my crochet hook down for a while and picked up my knitting needles. I'm a self taught "adventurous" slow knitte (lol) Working on the "UME" shawl. Imn doing good so far👏🏾👏🏾😊
    Have a great day my little love bug. Peace & Blessings to you and your husband. Keep up the GREAT work😉😘

      Glad you like our designs. RUclips already offers subtitles in Spanish. Try this trick:
      Turn on closed captions, and click on the Settings (the gear icon). Choose Subtitles/CC and to the right of that there is a language option. Use that to select Auto-Translate, and then choose Spanish. RUclips will automatically translate the closed captions for you.
      I hope this works for you! Have a lovely day. 💕

    • @ExpressionFiberArts
      @ExpressionFiberArts  2 года назад +1

      Make sure to position the fringed edge as explained in the pattern. If you're unsure how to pick up stitches, this video will show you how to do that on a sweater armhole. The technique itself is the same for this shawl: ruclips.net/video/Xt6XGSImxnA/видео.html
      And you can always email the designer herself for help.

    I ordered the pattern and am excited to try it. However, I'm not a fringe fan but looking at the pattern seems you have to start with that. So if I skip and just CO the number of stitches, then do I really need to do two and seam together? Can't I just reverse the design?

    Okay, I have a question. In the pattern, to do the fringed border, do you have to add the beads to keep it from unraveling all the way? Or am I doing something wrong😂 I tried it without the beads to practice and when I unraveled the fringe, it didn’t look right and almost unraveled my whole swatch.

    • @ExpressionFiberArts
      @ExpressionFiberArts  4 года назад +1

      Eryn, you don't have to add the beads, but they do help to keep the fringe pulled down and hanging nicely!

  • @sluggerklh
    @sluggerklh 4 года назад

    Is there an example anywhere for unraveling the fringe?
