"Born and bread in england love thee good old days. ❤️
I use to live in Brighton while studying in between 1975 and 1979 . It was a bueatiful town .every time I visit England I make sure to visit Brighton as I consider my second home .
However things have changed it has a new look which must be better than in 70s, however I think Brighton of 70s was better than what it is today. But still Brighton is the best town in England. I love it even though all my class fellows are not there but still I enjoy a stroll on street . .
You took me down the memory lane.
Thanks for the vedio ❤
Thanks so much for sharing your story and leaving such a nice comment!
Would love to know the feeling of Brighton in the 70s! That's when I was born (77) and still remember the feeling of the 70s which still pervaded the atmosphere and personalities and photographs of the Early 80s and it seemed like a much better time to be alive, with far more space and sense of progress and optimism and creativity then we have now. Living in Brighton, I feel it is still a beautiful city but is being destroyed more and more each years owing to increased development, increased population, and an increasing sea of torists which make navigating the city increasingly impossible, especially those with disabilities or who are aged or frail. It's virtually impossible for many such people to get around the centre of town - it's hard enough for the able bodied these days. But then again, Brighton is just one example in a world that's going to hell in a handbasket.
@zeroxox777 .
I understand your feelings regarding the changed looks of Brighton of today and of 70s.
However as you said very rightly it is world over due to increasing population .
Basically Brighton is for young people for elderly it is hove Worthing shorhamby sea or lancing etc .they have there own charm .if at all I move to England I would love to spend my retiremen in shoraham by sea . And visit Brighton off and on . .
However Brighton has a great history and the council should protect the heritage
I used to live in 66 east street above wimpy , the wimpy is gone so is the place I used to work E.M.I. Astoria bingo / cinema on London road . Where do you live in Brighton
Looks a lovely place to visit for sure. Thank for your Video. Roughly how the weather like there in Sep. 😊
Welcome! It should be chilly in September but not too bad. I highly recommend to visit Brighton 😃
Salam. Gözəl şəhərdir. İlk dəfə gördüm. Təşəkkürlər. Bəyəni tuşuna dokundum. Qucaq dolusu sevgilər abunəçiniz Elşaddan. Baki şəhəri
Beautiful city!
I think so too!
@@JapanPotatoI know so guys. I have a special place in my heart for this city, especially the seafront. I have dual-county allegiances in my bloodstream.
Appreciate the time I can spend relaxing on your channel. Thank you for a peaceful moment. Grateful for you.

Any Salt and vinegar boss?
Great vlog. Thanks. Since your visit, The Royal Albion hotel at 51 minutes was damaged in a fire.
Thanks! I heard about it.. which is so sad..
@@JapanPotatoAnd the Melrose, my favourite Fish & Chips restaurant, is closed forever.
very friendly UK
Yes indeed
Same couple 1:00:30 1:24:00 ;)
My favorite thing about Brighton is Bradford Upon Avon! 😅
Somebody please tell me …why do they leave a load of scrap metal just off the beach?
Because it’s considered art, a historical remainder from the pier that burned down many years ago.
@@JapanPotato dereliction art , that’s good . If you like dereliction..
@@griswald7156 Defo!
@@JapanPotato but to todays generation it’s good scrap metal.. people are starving..
Man I like disappearing birds on da vid, some portal shit going on on dat, watch carefully those who read this (probably cam bitrate or something)
Thanks a lot! I think it’s the RUclips video compression which make them disappear
Why haven’t they got skyscraper hotels on the front?
Because they don’t like it.
😅
こういう町は日本には沖縄ぐらいしかない。伊豆にもショボいのが少しあるかな。
Full of graffiti and in need of an uplift. The royal pavilion looks a bit grey. The town needs a refresh. The nicest part is between Brighton and hove then the graffiti reappears on the side of the buildings by the beech as you arrive at the main part of hove. All very sad.
It is not that amazing. Amazing? An adjective hitting the bull's eye would be welcome.
It’s more than amazing.
@@JapanPotato It amazes, but not many
When coming from boring Germany it certainly is! This city is much more interesting to me than let's say Berlin or Dusseldorf, Cologne, Bonn..
worst city*
What made you say that.
I think brighton and britonions are great .
I have had a great experience living in brighton for 4 years in 70s. , I wish I could spent my retired life in Brighton ❤
@@humayunkabir9279 I made that comment 8 months ago and I've softened up a bit, but my experience was the opposite, unfortunately! I am happy you found enjoyment there
