    Tesco don't like you filming yet they have cameras everywhere so they can record you?
    Legally because it's a public place (open to the public/public excess) I think you're fine to film around the store, but anyway, how much does the bike cost? I can't find a link Harley.

      @pa_maj.MARTINI-van-MAN I think its only a tesco rule, I may be wrong but I've filmed in other supermarkets and not been hassled.. maybe I just got lucky 😂

    🚲🚲I love your channel, however I have to really question, another road illegal bike. Really? I get you are given these free to review, but you should at least ask them for a road legal version? Disconnecting the throttle is not making it legal. It needs to be removed completely and not able to be quickly activated. You should at the very least really warn people about this considering you are doing a detailed review and some people may use your video to purchase one. P.S. It looks like you have the handlebars backwards and that lock would be destroyed in less than 10 seconds, so I wouldn’t be leaving it unattended for more than a few minutes. You may as well be using a piece of rope to lock it. And if the wheels have quick release, make sure you lock them too! Even a better lock might not be good enough with these lads walking around with angle grinders. I’d never leave an e-bike out of my sight for more than 5 minutes. They are just not safe in public unfortunately

      @NoelG-IRE Hi, ebikes in the UK are limited to a maximum power output of 250w which this bike is.
      It's max speed is 25kmh which is 15.5 mph which complies with the UK law 😊 also it is not illegal to have an electricla throttle on a ebike in the UK as long as it doesn't go over the legal limit.
      A combination lock is strong than any peice of rope 😂 it is a deterrant against an opportunist with today's technology it wouldn't matter if I used a motorbike lock, if they wanted to steal it they would just be carrying a battery powered disk cutter lol. One good thing about this bike, you can remove the battery which is the most valuable part of the bike. I imagine that's a theft deterrent alone!

      @@the_groovy_lifesorry, you are very wrong about the throttle laws in the UK. Particularly twist throttles. There is some
      Legislation in regards to a throttle assist up to 4mph which is effectively to allow for walk assist mode. If you have a non-restricted twist throttle, it is effectively a moped. In this case, an illegal moped as it would need to obtain certification to be allowed to be properly registered. You have quite a few followers now, so you really need to be mindful of putting out false information. I’m sorry but this is the internet and you will be called out on it, especially if it’s e-bike related as there are so many people who actually disagree with the laws and many of us including myself are breaking the law every time we get on an electric bike with a throttle without a moped category on your licence plus the bike to be registered and insured. I have the licence already as I drive motorbikes too, but I ain’t paying to have my e-bike registered and insured because it would cost more than the actual bike. Some people are actually going through the hassle just to prove a point, but more with bigger powered bikes like surrons and by registering and insuring it would immediately ban you from using cycle lanes and you would be expected to only use it on the road in the same way as an actual moped. We want the laws changed as a throttle really makes the e-bike experience a lot more practical, however you should really do some more reading on the rules and regulations and strongly consider putting an FYI out to your audience.

      @@the_groovy_life and I did point out that even a better lock is not deterrent for some lads who use angle grinders, but that skinny lock would literally snap by just using the frame as a torque wrench. And I’m not trying to hate on your channel either, like I said, I love your channel, but you have to be at least aware that you are putting yourself into a potentially law breaking situation and then filming it for the world to see. Blatantly ignoring the law is not an excuse for breaking it.

    • @the_groovy_life
      @the_groovy_life  Месяц назад +2

      @NoelG-IRE I know that's what you said that's why I was agreeing with you 😊
      The lock is actually more durable in real life then it must in the camera, in that case.
      Also like you just said throttles are legal as long as it doesn't go over 4mph. This bike doesn't go over that. My audience isn't just UK based. I expect people would use their initiative when buying a product like this and do their own research for the country they live in. I'm not telling anyone to go buy it, I'm just reviewing it to show its capability and specs.
      People can use their own common sense I'm not there mum 😂 I appreciate you enjoy the channel, I remember you from previous comments 🫶

      @@the_groovy_life yes you are reviewing it but by reviewing it you are also advertising it or at least making people aware of its existence. If you are going to go to that effort, you have to be sure that you cover all the info. I get that other countries are watching, but I’m sure majority of subscribers are from the UK and most countries are implying the same or even stricter laws regarding e-bikes. A bike that can’t be legally used on a public road in the UK should really have at least a warning and this is absolutely something you should know before reviewing any product. I also checked the specs of this bike and the throttle is not in any way limited to 4mph, so I don’t know where you got that from? If you can show us where it states that I’ll gladly acknowledge I’m mistaken and in fact this could/ should be used as a sales point. Given this is a budget bike, I highly doubt it is actually limited in any way. I’ve never seen a limited twist throttle either. Normally the walk assist options are operated by a push switch. The only way I believe this bike is legal on the UK road is by completely removing the physical throttle. Glad to be proven wrong on this one, but if I’m correct, I think it’s only fair that you at least warn others as part of the review. If you are not advertising it as you claim, you have nothing to lose by including this info really? I mean that’s the whole point of reviewing it in the first place. But what you have to absolutely understand is that if I am correct and that is an illegal e-bike (under current laws), then technically you are breaking the law on camera. That’s never a good image and could technically get you in trouble if ever brought to the attention of the police.
      Again, I’m saying all this cos I love your channel and I don’t want you getting yourself in trouble over a stupid bike. I don’t agree with the law, but be very mindful of it whenever reviewing e-bikes in future.
      Just my own 2 cents here, but maybe a folding e-scooter would be better for the van? Smaller footprint, lighter and most places allow you to bring them inside. They all have legal throttles and are overall cheaper than e-bikes. Be worth doing a comparison if offered the chance.
      In any case, have a great day!
