I’ve only encountered this phenomenon courtesy of a Scandinavian YT contributor whose interest is in aircraft - Saab Grippens etc. His recordings are epic. And the Elon Musk space launches. (I wish some of those capturing car exhaust sounds would do the same thing. Nothing else compares!) I am also delighted to note your recordings in binaural of beautiful classics. Mind blowing! So if I could place a request... a binaural test drive, please, of a Jensen Interceptor Mk III with the Chrysler 330. This was the dream car of my boyhood. Nothing else in the U.K. sounded like it in the late 1960s/early 1970s. We looked to the USA to cheer us up, eg: Sunbeam Tiger with its 5.0 V8... and of course the Cobras. Jesper Radegard. Swedish I think. Uses the 3 mic system. Not all his vids are binaural, but the ones he has put up are sensational! The Grippen and the Draaken vids are superb examples. Particularly the Grippen. If you’ve got decent headphones sit back and you’ll think you’re there!

Nice car BUT anything with nearly 500 hp should have at least 255s for tires. 235 is 10 wider than the 225s on my Chrysler 200!
