The phone did get a bit warm but no throttling seen. Didn't get warm enough to take notice, playing for a longer duration could take the phone to over 40° but not in this video.

I can't find the right fps meter to use as a overlay on screen but the game wasn't VERY heavy on the phone. Didn't feel any frame drops at all.
