My favorite Impaled Nazarene albums have changed a lot over the years, I've liked each one in turn. At the moment my favorites are Nihil and Vigorous and liberating death. Amazing band, one of the best in Finland, whose level has not decreased in my opinion.

Impaled Nazarene is amazing. They take lots of influence from thrash metal and grindcore to create fast and relentless black metal. I think all their albums are great and here's how I'd rank them:
S - Ugra-Karma, Suomi Finland Perkele, Pro Patria Finlandia, Road to the Octagon
A - Rapture, Nihil, Manifest, Vigorous and Liberating Death, Eight Headed Serpent
B - Tol Cormpt Norz Norz Norz, Latex Cult, Absence of War Does Not Mean Peace, All That You Fear
So awesome. Still baffles me why bands that inject the slightest bit of patriotism and pride into their music are so maligned by the mainstream 😔

The first time the name came up was when I was reading about Children Of Bodom and Alexi's other exploits.

The first one would be amazing if it wasn't just an ep with a bunch of filler synth tracks thrown in to pad out the timing (and a certain part in a song that shall remain nameless for now 🤣🤣🤣).
I used to like the punk stuff a lot more but I haven't had an urge to listen to it for a while so Ugra Karma is the best one for me.
I think the demos are probably something I'll get to at some point, I've heard they are better than the debut.

jk but I do prefer their earlier stuff, I'd go first three in S, Nihil and Latex Cult in A, Rapture and Pro Patria in B, the other stuff in C... I guess? Haven't listened to later ImpNaz in at least ten years. I'll just pretend Belial's Wisdom of Darkness and Mythos' Pain Amplifier are Impaled Nazarene albums.

Hello! I never like Impaled Nazarene. Even they are Finnish band. Luttinen the singer( shouter) is a grazy guy.
