@@glennteagleofukwoodcraftca5308 I'll see what I can do. I have some larch or laylandi not sure which that are semi bowl blank shape will see what can do with them to start. Will tag you guys in the Facebook post when I get them up aswell as the mallet. 👍🏴
@@michaelwillson6847 we can't recommend chisels Michael. You need to see what you need. Decide based on what you want to do (hollowing ect). All the range of chisels are on the website with descriptions and I have used them all at some stage on the videos, to demonstrate what they all can do.
Ahh I remember you saying on the other video that about some wood with machine marks. Looking at them again they are very uniform so must be from a machine grab of some sort.
I love restoring and using old tools
Me too Myk
Proves that a decent tool that's in the right hands & is looked after will last a lifetime plus 👍🏴
Sure does Jim. How are you getting on?
Many a good tune can be played on an old fiddle.
Sure can.
Youve just done 2 them in 10 mins would have taken me 80 years to do it never mind using 80 year old tool 😮🏴👍
Lol. Practice practice practice Michael.

Glenn & Liza Great job buddy well done, so the tool is the same age as you lol.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching.
Hi Glen and Liza going on a round trip tomorrow and passing b and q what was the oil you bought
Colron Finishing Oil.
Great thanks I thought you might have left Liza out of this one because you could not do this and watch out for her and the mallet 😊 Blessings
It is a shame you can't incorporate those marks as a design element.
They have actually damaged the wood. They are deep gouges.
Why the hammer marks all over the blanks Glenn?
Don't know Gavin. It already had these marks when we were given them. Not sure what caused it, maybe how it was gripped and pulled or something.
